In this study, feasibility of membrane separation for the removal of indigenous noroviruses (NVs) is evaluated. The indigenous NV gene was never detected from ultrafiltration (UF) permeates of sewage sludge and treated wastewater. Indigenous NV gene was also not detected from permeates of sewage sludge and treated wastewater by microfiltration (MF) with a pore size of 0.1 microm (MF0.1). Even though the pore size of MF (0.1 microm) was much larger than the diameter of virus particle (approximately 30-40nm), more than 4-log10 reduction value (LRV) at maximum was achieved by membrane separation with MF0.1. NV genes were often detected from permeates of sewage sludge and treated wastewater by MF with a pore size of 0.45 microm (MF0.45), although the maximum log10 reduction values were more than 3.59 for sewage sludge and more than 2.90 for treated wastewater. It is important to verify factors determining the removal efficiency of viruses with MF membranes.  相似文献

A new detection method was developed for the simultaneous quantification and genotyping of Cryptosporidium spp. in river water. Several modifications made to the US EPA Method 1623 enabled high and stable recovery of Cryptosporidium from 40 L of river water (geometric mean = 35%, standard deviation = 8.7%). Quenching probe PCR (QProbe PCR) was used to quantify the 18S rRNA gene of Cryptosporidium spp. This method could successfully detect single oocysts in a sample, and the lower quantitation limit was as low as 2.5 oocysts/sample. In addition, denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE) followed by DNA sequencing was used to identify the genotypes. These methods were applied to detect Cryptosporidium spp. in the Koyama River, Japan. The positive ratio was 69% (11/16) with the maximum concentration of 59 oocysts/100 L. Seven genotypes including two novel ones were identified. These results showed that this detection method could provide valuable information on Cryptosporidium in river water, both in the concentration and in the genotypes, which is essential for the precise assessment of waterborne risk to human health.  相似文献

High-modulus aramid fiber was exposed to energetic (5 eV) atomic oxygen, which simulates the space environment in low Earth orbit. It was found that Young’s modulus and tensile strength decreased significantly due to the atomic oxygen exposures. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy showed that the decomposition of amid group occured at the exposed surfaces. Scanning electron microscopy revealed that the diameter of the fiber was not influenced so much by the attack of atomic oxygen, but the exposed fiber became an extremely rough surface. The change in mechanical properties has been explained by the formation of surface texture that is characteristic to the high-energy atomic oxygen collisions.  相似文献

本文应用细观力学、经典层板理论、平截面假定、FRP约束混凝土本构模型及数值积分对GFRP管混凝土组合结构压弯构件进行了非线性全过程分析。通过理论计算发现GFRP管混凝土组合结构能有效地提高构件的承载力,且构件具有良好的变形能力。FRP壳体参与承载且有效地约束混凝土的变形,显著提高核心混凝土强度和变形能力。文中讨论了轴压比、长细比、径厚比、混凝土强度等级、纵筋配筋率、铺层角变化对极限水平荷载和极限水平位移的影响,从而得到了一些有益的结论。  相似文献

According to the characteristics of fluid-structure interaction(FSI) in the process of metal bellows inflating to disperse bomblets,a 3D dynamical FSI model(W model) which describes the interaction between a viscous compressible flow and a structure undergoing large deformationis established.Then the dynamic characteristics of the metal bellows deformation, the changing law of the internal flow field and the motion law of the bombs are acquired.Where the internal pressure and bombs'' moving law are approximate to interior ballistic results, which indicates the W model established reasonably.Besides, considering gaps existing atthe bellows'' tow ends, the dynamical FSI modelcontaining gaps(Y model) is also built.The results of the W and Y models are compared and the results show that the existence of the gaps has little influence to the flow field and the stress distributionin the bellows,but obviously reduces the separation speed of the bomblets about 10%.  相似文献

以都江堰某筒–柱支承式钢筋混凝土圆形筒仓结构为例,对筒–柱支承式混凝土筒仓动力特性进行分析。研究表明:筒–柱支承式筒仓的底部筒–柱结构的开口削弱程度介于柱承式和筒承式之间,其侧移刚度与动力特性也介于二者之间,在频率较低时其运动状态体现为平动为主,达到一定频率时体现为扭转为主。研究结果可作为筒–柱支承式混凝土筒仓动力分析与工程实际应用的参考和借鉴。  相似文献

复合材料是由多组分构成的,其性能直接受其组分的性能、含量、配比、相几何等因素影响.提出了复合材料组分-性能优化,在材料设计过程中首先建立因素对性能的模糊影响关系,然后调整这些影响因素,使其既能充分发挥材料特性,满足使用要求,又能使之成本降为最低.这一设计思想是传统的复合材料结构优化的突破,把结构优化设计延伸到材料设计阶段.可以对复合材料的多项性能进行综合优化设计.  相似文献

Improving the absorption of visible light, accelerating the separation of carries and reducing the recombination of electron-hole pairs are critical to enhance photoelectrochemical (PEC) performance of ZnFe2O4. Herein, the ZnFe2O4/Ag/Ag2S films are firstly prepared with a photocurrent density of 0.91 mA/cm2 at 1.23 V vs. RHE, which is 9.10 times higher than that of pristine ZnFe2O4 (0.10 mA/cm2 at 1.23 V vs. RHE). On the basis, Co-Pi cocatalyst is deposited on ZnFe2O4/Ag/Ag2S to further optimize PEC performance of ZnFe2O4, the photocurrent density of ZnFe2O4/Ag/Ag2S/Co-Pi is 1.18 mA/cm2 at 1.23 V vs. RHE. The improved PEC performance of ZnFe2O4/Ag/Ag2S/Co-Pi films could be attributed to: (i) fast transmission of electron-hole pairs owing to 1D ZnFe2O4 NRs; (ii) surface plasmon resonance (SPR) effect of Ag nanoparticles; (ⅲ) visible light absorption is improved by sensitization of Ag2S nanoparticles; (ⅳ) Co-Pi cocatalyst decreases the recombination of electron-hole pairs by capturing holes. This work provides new insights for metal plasmas, sensitizers and cocatalysts synergistically modify photoanodes for efficient PEC water splitting.  相似文献

The successful development of self-consolidating concrete (SCC) requires a careful control of rheological properties of matrix. In this investigation, a parametric study was undertaken to evaluate the influence of binder type, w/cm (water-to-cementitious materials ratio), and coarse aggregate type and nominal size on rheology of prestressed SCC. The rheological measurement of the 33 SCC mixtures investigated in parametric study was performed using a modified Tattersall two-point workability rheometer. The yield stress and plastic viscosity values derived from the SCC mixtures were correlated to the various workability test results to identify combinations of rheological parameters necessary to secure adequate filling ability, filling capacity, and stability of SCC for successful casting of prestressed elements. Based on the results, it is recommended that SCC should have a plastic viscosity of 30–70 Pa s and 30–130 Pa s for concrete made with crushed aggregate and gravel, respectively, to ensure proper workability. Higher viscosity levels could lead to limitation in passing ability should be avoided. Better understanding of the rheological parameters that control the workability of SCC is important in developing mix design approaches and interpreting quality control test methods.  相似文献
