Thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) produced by electron beam physical vapor deposition (EB-PVD) or plasma spray (PS) usually suffer from molten calcium-magnesium-alumino-silicate (CMAS) attack. In this study, columnar structured YSZ coatings were fabricated by plasma spray physical vapor deposition (PS-PVD). The coatings were CMAS-infiltrated at 1250?°C for short terms (1, 5, 30?min). The wetting and spreading dynamics of CMAS melt on the coating surface was in-situ investigated using a heating microscope. The results indicate that the spreading evolution of CMAS melt can be described in terms of two stages with varied time intervals and spreading velocities. Besides, the PS-PVD columnar coating (~100?μm thick) was fully penetrated by CMAS melt within 1?min. After the CMAS attack for 30?min, the original feathered-YSZ grains (tetragonal phase) in both PS-PVD and EB-PVD coatings were replaced by globular shaped monoclinic ZrO2 grains in the interaction regions.  相似文献

In this paper the performance of a three-phase induction motor operating from single-phase supply with a new electronically controlled capacitor using an electronic switch in series with a fixed capacitor to achieve a minimum unbalance of the motor phase voltages at all loading conditions is proposed. No mechanical or centrifugal switch is used here. Basic system operation, theoretical analysis, simulated and experimental results in comparison with conventional operation using one and two fixed capacitors are presented in this paper. The optimum effective capacitor value can be on-line adjusted at any operating speed by periodically changing the duty cycle of the controlled switch to achieve minimum unbalance in phase voltages to improve the motor performance at different speeds.  相似文献

Carbon/carbon composites containing zirconium were prepared using chopped carbon fiber, mesophase pitch and Zr powder by the traditional process including molding, carbonization, densification and graphitization. The influence of Zr on the microstructure and properties of the composites were investigated. Results show that Zr can improve the interface bonding, promote more perfect and larger crystallites and enhance the conductive/mechanical properties of the composites. The high in-plane thermal conductivity of 464 W/(m K) and excellent bending strength of 83.6 MPa was obtained for a Zr content of 13.9 wt% at heat treatment temperature(HTT) of 2500 °C. However the conductive/mechanical properties of the composites decrease dramatically for an higher HTT of 3000 °C. SEM micrograph of the fracture surface for the composites shows that lower disorder crystallite arrangement of fiber and carbon matrix come into being in the composites during HTT of 3000 °C, which should be responsible for the low properties. Correlation between the content of Zr and the microstructure and properties are discussed.  相似文献

Various borazine-based polymeric precursors can be prepared from tris(alkylamino)boranes and B-tri(chloro)borazine. Their chemical structures are described and compared in this review, along with their melt-spinnability. After polymer-to-ceramic conversion, the mechanical performances of the ensuing BN fibers are analyzed in relation with the structure of the corresponding thermoplastic polymers. The most promising results were obtained with B-tri(methylamino)borazine, which appears, at the present time, as the best candidate for a potential industrialization of the process. However, promising results were also obtained with borylborazines. This comparative study clearly emphasizes that the synthesis of tailored polyborazines is one of the key point for the preparation of high-performance BN fibers.  相似文献

Microstructures and mechanical properties of an AZ91D magnesium alloy prepared with semi-solid die-casting (SSDC) were characterized in as-cast conditions. The SSDC alloy exhibits a unique microstructure featuring primary α-Mg globules uniformly distributed in the matrix of fine secondary α-Mg grains and β-Mg17Al12 intermetallic. High ultimate tensile strength and elongation have been achieved before fracture. Observations on the vertical-section microstructure of the fractured sample by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) show that the crack mainly originated from the brittle fracture of the eutectic phase causes the interface decohesion of the ductile Mg phase, making fracture a rather critical event. Before that, the deformation of ductile α-Mg phase in the matrix as well as the “pulling out” of primary α-Mg phase combines to provide the SSDC alloy a certain strain.  相似文献

Compression wrinkling of composite sandwich panels with corrugated skins was investigated numerically, analytically and experimentally. Semi-circular and sine-wave shaped corrugations were studied. The corrugations significantly increased wrinkling strength when compared with equal mass flat panels. Semi-circular corrugations proved to be highly preferable to sine-wave shaped corrugations due to localized buckling in the latter. Over 40 fiberglass and foam core sandwich specimens were manufactured with semi-circular skin corrugations. These specimens were tested to failure, providing confirmation of the numerical and analytical results.  相似文献

We present an efficient method for the fast calculation of computer generated hologram (CGH). The 3D object is split into sub-layers according to its depth information. A 2D all-in-focus image is generated by sequential tiling all the layers in one plane. A Fourier hologram that contains all the information of 3D object is calculated from the fast Fourier transform (FFT) of the reassembled 2D image. By multiplying a pre-calculated multifocal off-axis digital phase mask (DPM) to the Fourier hologram, the content of each layer is axially relocated to different depth in the Fourier transform optical system to reconstruct the 3D object. The computation speed of the proposed method is greatly improved with only single FFT calculation process. Both of simulation and experimental results proves the validation of the proposed method.  相似文献

This study reinvestigated one of the most fundamental problems in structure light depth sensing field: correspondence retrieval of features between patterns and images. We formulate the global optimum correspondence retrieval by maximizing a conditional probability of correspondence given observed features, which is depicted by a Bayesian network. Different from traditional “code-only” based correspondence retrieval methods, the proposed Bayesian network based method exploits the positional correlations of correspondences of neighboring features, namely, the correspondences of poorly detected features are estimated with the aid of the correspondences of well detected features. The method performs especially well on challenging scenes with rich depth variations, abrupt depth changes, edges, etc. Experiments show that the proposed method increase the correspondence accuracy by about 40% on challenging scenes, compared with traditional “code-only” based correspondence retrieval methods.  相似文献
