In this study, combustion from the co-firing of coal and wood biomass, and thermal characteristics such as ignition temperature, burn-out temperature, and activation energy were discussed using a thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA). We investigated the effects of biomass blending with two kinds of pulverized coal (bituminous Shenhua, and sub-bituminous Adaro) under air and oxy-fuel conditions. The coal fraction in the blended samples was set to 1, 0.8, and 0.5. The oxygen fraction in the oxidant was set to 0.21, 0.3, 0.5, and 0.8. The ignition temperature was governed by the fuel composition, particularly in the blended biomass which has a much higher content of volatile matter comparing to coal. However, the burnout temperature, which shows a strong relationship with char combustion, depended on the oxidant ingredients rather than on the fuel components. Thermal characteristics such as ignition, burnout temperature, reaction region, and heat flow were very similar between air and a 0.3 oxygen concentration under oxy-fuel conditions with Shenhua coal. 相似文献

A novel black-to-transmissive electrochromic device based on TiO2-supported viologen and triphenylamine derivatives was designed and constructed via the absorption-complementary approach. In the device, cathodically coloring electrochromic material 1,4-bis[((N-phosphono-2-ethyl)-4,4′-bipyridinium)-methyl]-benzene tetrachloride acted as working electrode and novel anodically coloring electrochromic material (4-((4-(dimethylamino)-phenyl)(4-methoxyphenyl)-amino)-benzyl) phosphonic acid acted as counter electrode. The assembled electrochromic device achieved panchromatic absorption over entire visible spectrum with almost zero transmittance in colored state. The optical contrast (ΔT) of the device realized in this work was comparable to the highest value (60%) among all reported black-to-transmissive ECDs. Furthermore, excellent cycling stability was achieved, which maintained almost 80% of the initial ΔT value at 570 nm after continuous 100,000 switchings. The pollution of raw materials and ceramic products is a problem that affects all ceramic companies operating in the fields of traditional ceramics and thus needs to be further investigated. The presence of impurities in ceramic glaze and bodies, or between their contact surface, causes aesthetic defects.The aim of this work is to analyse ceramic flaws generated during the processing phases. Analysis of the morphological and compositional imperfections was carried out on different samples by the use of a Scanning Electron Microscope. An efficient model of the flaws in the final ceramic product was later developed, correlating imperfections and pollutants which caused them. In this way the phases of the process, where the pollution might occur, are successfully identified. In order to reach this goal, ceramic samples were created and contaminated in laboratory by the use of potential pollutants, previously and carefully selected in the planning phase of the study. 相似文献

The new series of copolymers were obtained based on free radical solution copolymerization by mixing self‐made methyl acrylic acid sucrose ester (MASE) and methyl acrylic acid (MAA) with different ratios. Copolymerization behavior and properties of the new copolymers was investigated with the reaction time, temperature, monomer ratios and characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectra (FT‐IR), carbon nuclear magnetic resonance (13C NMR), and intrinsic viscosity. The results indicated that sucrose was successfully grafted onto poly (methyl acrylic acid). Further, it was demonstrated that low temperature benefited the esterification of MASE. Importantly, the copolymers were founded to have good compatibility with polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and polyethylene (PE). © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl.
