The enhanced coercivity for the magnetite/silica nanocomposite at room temperature

Magnetite/silica nanocomposite was synthesized by a facile solvothermal processing at 150 °C for about 10 h. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed the effect of annealing on the crystallinity of silica. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images showed the good dispersion of magnetite in the silica matrix. Magnetic properties of the nanocomposite were characterized by vibration sample magnetometer (VSM), and the enhanced coercivity was explained by the intrinsic anisotropy of the particles enhanced by the interparticle dipolar fields.     

新型银铁电触头材料试验研究

对采用粉末冶金与化学热处理相结合的方法研制的电触头材料进行了理化性能、显微组织和抗氧化性能试验，探讨其机理及对性能的影响因素。试验表明：所研制的触头的理化性能基本达到了国标规定的相近触头的指标，其显微组织和抗氧比性能则优于国标规定。Ａ＿（ｃ４）加速模拟电寿命试验的结果证实该种触头材料应用前景良好。     

Analysis of dispersion characteristics for a circular dielectric waveguide with periodic metallic strips by using the method of lines

The dispersion characteristics of circular dielectric waveguide with periodic metallic strips are analyzed by the method of lines. The filter property of the metallic strip loaded structure is carefully investigated for both TE and TM modes. The brillioum diagrams for both TE₀₁ and TM₀₁ modes are given. A comparison is made between the results obtained by Galerkin's method and those calculated with the method of lines, and very good agreement has been found; the accuracy of the present method is thus justified. On the basis of the analysis, some useful guidelines for the design of the bandreject filters are suggested.     

Learning search keywords for construction procurement

Seeking information from websites has become an essential part of a contractor's procurement undertaking, as more and more procurement websites become available on the Internet. Websites host extremely large amounts of information; a keyword search, therefore, is often more efficient than browsing via an index. However, in order to find the desired information, it may be necessary to enter keywords using a trial-and-error process. This research recognizes that professional procurement experience can help users search website information more effectively, by using fewer keywords, and so proposes a learning model and suggestion model that can capture such experience, thus guiding inexperienced users in their search. Experiments, evaluating the performance of the system, were also conducted.     

Global experience curves for wind farms

In order to forecast the technological development and cost of wind turbines and the production costs of wind electricity, frequent use is made of the so-called experience curve concept. Experience curves of wind turbines are generally based on data describing the development of national markets, which cause a number of problems when applied for global assessments. To analyze global wind energy price development more adequately, we compose a global experience curve. First, underlying factors for past and potential future price reductions of wind turbines are analyzed. Also possible implications and pitfalls when applying the experience curve methodology are assessed. Second, we present and discuss a new approach of establishing a global experience curve and thus a global progress ratio for the investment cost of wind farms. Results show that global progress ratios for wind farms may lie between 77% and 85% (with an average of 81%), which is significantly more optimistic than progress ratios applied in most current scenario studies and integrated assessment models. While the findings are based on a limited amount of data, they may indicate faster price reduction opportunities than so far assumed. With this global experience curve we aim to improve the reliability of describing the speed with which global costs of wind power may decline.     

低温聚合物结构松弛的数值研究

为了获得低温聚合物的参数和升降温速率对连续升降温无量纲比热容的影响,应用差示扫描量热法(DSC)和TNM的结构松弛模型作出简单的数值研究.结果表明,变换不同比率的升降温速率及不同参数值得到的DSC曲线图形变化能够对聚合物的结构松弛研究有一点参考作用.     

基于Sigmund理论的溅射产额计算及分析

溅射产额是表征溅射效应的重要参数。Sigmund的线性级联碰撞理论在溅射产额计算中获得了广泛的应用和发展。本文对Sigmund理论进行简单介绍，并对基于Sigmund理论的各种经验公式进行分析。在此基础上，对不同条件下的溅射产额进行了计算，通过计算结果，对各种公式的使用范围进行了讨论。     

The total domination and total bondage numbers of extended de Bruijn and Kautz digraphs

In this paper we consider the total domination number and the total bondage number for digraphs. The total bondage number, defined as the minimum number of edges whose removal enlarges the total domination number, measures to some extent the robustness of a network where a minimum total dominating set is required. We determine the total domination number and total bondage number of the extended de Burijn digraph and the extended Kautz digraph, proposed by Shibata and Gonda in 1995, which generalize the classical de Bruijn digraph and the Kautz digraph.     

Formation of mushroom-like ZnO microcrystals through a solution calcination process

Mushroom-like ZnO microcrystals have been prepared via a solution calcination route, using Zn(NO₃)₂ as Zn source in the absence of any surfactants, templates or catalysts. This is the first example to prepare mushroom-like crystals as semiconductors, which are expected to show particular physical properties. The ZnO products were investigated by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Raman spectroscopy and photoluminescence (PL) spectrum measurements. A suitable concentration of Zn(NO₃)₂ solution was important for the growth of the mushroom-like products. The reported synthetic procedure is straightforward and inexpensive, and thus can be readily adopted to produce large quantities of mushroom-like ZnO microcrystals.     

Novel one-step route for synthesizing sub-micrometer PSt hollow spheres via redox interfacial-initiated method in inversed emulsion

Interfacial-initiated polymerization of styrene (St) was carried out in inversed emulsion with cumene hydroperoxide (CHPO) and ferrous sulfate (FeSO₄)/disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate (NaEDTA)/sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate (SFS) as the redox initiation system. The water-soluble Fe²⁺-NaEDTA-SFS acted as the reducing component and the oil-soluble CHPO as the oxidant component of the redox initiation system. Therefore, the primary radicals were produced mainly at the oil/water interface to initiate the polymerization of St. Thus, sub-micrometer hollow polystyrene (PSt) spheres were obtained by one-stage polymerization, which was supported by the techniques of transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM).
