Synthesis and crystal structures of a new (2,3-(CH3)2C6H3NH3)H2XO4 (X=P,As)

The aim of encapsulation of 2,3-dimethylanilinium cation in (H₂XO₄)_n polymeric anion chains is to build acentric frameworks that are efficient for non-linear optical (NLO) applications. The synthesis and structures of two new inorganic–organic NLO crystals with general formula (2,3-(CH₃)₂C₆H₃NH₃)H₂XO₄ (X=P, As) are reported. The magnitude of their second harmonic generations (SHG) responses was found to be between the KDP and urea. They crystallize with monoclinic unit-cells and are isotopic. We have determined the structure of phosphoric salt. The following unit-cell parameters were found: a=8.866(3) Å, b=5.909(6) Å, c=10.644(5) Å, β=112.44(1)°, V=515.5(5) Å³ and D_X=1.412 g cm⁻³. The space group is P2₁ with Z=2. The structure was refined with R=0.041 (R_w=0.057) for 1652 reflections with I≥3σ(I). It exhibits infinite (H₂PO₄)_nⁿ⁻ chains. The organic groups (2,3-(CH₃)₂C₆H₃NH₃)⁺ are anchored between adjacent polyanions through multiple hydrogen bonds. Chemical preparation, crystal structure, calorimetric and spectroscopic investigation are described.     

Assembly of one 2D layer and two 3D pillared-layer structures derived from metal ions and 5-(pyridin-4-yl)isophthalic acid with or without pillars

Three new coordination polymers, [Mn(L)(H₂O)₂]₂·5H₂O (1), [Cu(L)(4,4′-bipy)]₂·H₂O (2) and [Pb(L)(4,4′-bipy)_0.5] (3) (H₂L = 5-(pyridin-4-yl)isophthalic acid; 4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine) have been synthesized and characterized by IR, thermogravimetric analysis, X-ray powder diffraction and X-ray single crystal diffraction. Complex 1 shows a 2D layer structure which stacks with the other ones to form 1D channels to hold 1D water chains. Complex 2 displays a 3D + 3D → 3D polycatenation network. 3 shows a unique 2D + 2D → 3D polycatenation net in which each Pb center has a hemidirected coordination geometry due to the existence of “inert pair effect”. The thermal and luminescent properties of 1–3 were also examined.

多尺度多核高斯过程隐变量模型

高斯过程隐变量模型（GPLVM）作为一种无监督的贝叶斯非参数降维模型,无法有效利用数据所包含的语义标记信息,同时其建模过程中假设观测变量的各特征相互独立,忽略了特征之间的空间结构信息。为解决上述问题,采用图像池化操作获得不同尺度的特征表示,利用线性投影方式将不同尺度的图像投影到低维隐空间进行特征融合,并将融合特征和数据标记分别作为输入和输出,构建多尺度多核高斯过程隐变量模型（MSMK-GPLVM）,通过图像数据与数据标记的关联实现模型监督学习,同时对GPLVM和线性投影权重矩阵进行联合学习以提高分类性能。实验结果表明,MSMK-GPLVM能够有效利用图像空间结构信息和语义标记信息,相比其他隐变量模型具有更强的数据降维和分类能力。
