In this paper, tracking control of underactuated ship in the presence of input saturation is addressed. By dividing the tracking error dynamic system into a cascade of two subsystems, the torques in surge and yaw axes are designed separately using the backstepping technique. More specifically, we design the yaw axis torque in such a way that its corresponding subsystem is finite time stable, which makes it to be de-coupled from the second subsystem after a finite time. This enables us to design the torque in the surge axis independently. It is shown that the closed-loop system is stable and the mean-square tracking errors can be made arbitrarily small by choosing design parameters. This paper deals with the modelling and the identification of an electromechanical Diesel engine actuator. The studied Bosch GPA-S actuator is designed for swirl/tumble flaps to control the air amount entering into the cylinder. This study aims to design a complete simulator that reproduces, with sufficient accuracy, the actuator dynamics taking into account the effects of the friction phenomenon. Hence, an overview of the actuator structure and its operation principle is first given. Then, its mathematical model as well as the nonlinearity, related to its behaviour, is discussed. Next, three identification procedures, which allow estimating both the system parameters and the friction model coefficients, are introduced. Finally, simulation results, using MATLAB, and experimental results, using LabVIEW, are presented demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed techniques. 相似文献

This paper summarizes the basics of pulsed thermal nondestructive testing (TNDT) including theoretical solutions, data processing algorithms and practical implementation. Typical defects are discussed along with 1D analytical and multi-dimensional numerical solutions. Special emphasis is focused on defect characterization by the use of inverse solutions. A list of TNDT terms is provided. In this paper, a model-predictive trajectory-tracking control applied to a mobile robot is presented. Linearized tracking-error dynamics is used to predict future system behavior and a control law is derived from a quadratic cost function penalizing the system tracking error and the control effort. Experimental results on a real mobile robot are presented and a comparison of the control obtained with that of a time-varying state-feedback controller is given. The proposed controller includes velocity and acceleration constraints to prevent the mobile robot from slipping and a Smith predictor is used to compensate for the vision-system dead-time. As there is no dependency on iron to close a circuit, the repeatability of the technique is good.
