Cold filamentary microplasma (CFM) pretreatment assisted by thermionic emission (TE) is a promising, cold drying technology for agricultural products. Such novel pretreatment method based on local electroporation process in the air gap. Brief theory and treatment mechanism are explained. A fractional factorial design 33 was used to determine the effect of CFM treatment assisted by TE parameters such as pulse frequency (F = 40, 80 and 120 Hz), pretreatment duration (D = 60, 120 and 180 s) and temperature of thermionic source (T = 700, 850 and 1000 °C) on drying time and drying rate of potato samples. Maximal CFM pretreatment effect was observed at frequency of 80 Hz, treatment duration of 120 s and temperature of thermionic source of 1000 °C, and the corresponding drying rate and drying time were 35·10−5 (kg/kg s−1) and 130 min. The use of CFM treatment had minor effects on the main quality characteristics (total sugar and starch content) of potato samples. Fourier-transformed infrared spectroscopy confirmed the absence of any modifications of functional group composition of potato samples after CFM pretreatment. Results indicate that cold pulsed filamentary microplasma can enhance the drying rate and decrease drying time without changes in quality characteristics.Practical applicationsCold filamentary microplasma pretreatment assisted by thermionic emission can improve the efficiency of potato drying. The in-situ fabrication of an electron-blocking layer between the Ba-containing anode and the ceria-based electrolyte is an effective approach in suppressing the internal electronic leakage in ceria-based solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC). To improve the thickness of the electron-blocking layer and to research the effect of the layer thickness on the improvement of SOFC, a Ba-containing compound (0.6NiO-0.4BaZr0.1Ce0.7Y0.2O3-δ) modified by Y stabilized zirconia (YSZ) was employed as a composite anode in this research. SEM analyses demonstrated that the thickness of the interlayer can be simply controlled by regulating the proportion of YSZ at anode. The in-situ formed interlayer in the cell with the anode modified by 20?mol% YSZ possesses a thickness of 0.9?µm which is more suitable for the cell achieving an enhanced performance. 相似文献

In this paper, we proposed a robust discrete-time controller. This control system, which is derived from the idea of the normalized plant, does not include plant parameters. Thus, we obtain a control system independent of plant parameters and that has the same structure as a conventional optimal servo control system. Three-dimensional (3D) YBO3:Tb3+ flower-like and dense flower-like hierarchitecture constituted of nanoflakes are solvothermally synthesized in the presence of polyborate precursors in the mixture of ethanol and water. The growth process of the YBO3:Tb3+ flowers and dense flowers was explored based on the time-dependent experiment and the results showed that the growth mechanism follows an in situ growth rather than self-assembly process as reported previously. YBO3:Tb3+ morphologies composed of nanoflakes are achieved by controlling the concentration of ethanol and dependence of photoluminescence on morphology was studied. Remarkable photoluminescence enhancement was observed for YBO3:Tb3+ with flower-like morphology demonstrating the potential of the microstructure in future applications as a green phosphor. AbstractGraphene oxide (GO) was functionalized by polyether amine (PEA) via two methods which were one-pot modification in acetone (GON) and two steps with the intermediate product of GOCO-Cl generated (GONS). There were more PEA successfully grafted onto GO for GONS than GON. The onset polymerization temperatures of the benzoxazine (Bz) composites decreased by the inclusion of 1?wt% of GO, GON or GONS. Thermal stability of the polybenzoxazine (PBz) composites was significantly improved indicated from the increase of weight loss temperature. T10, T20 and T50 values of the composites with GONS were higher than that of the others. The flame front deformation instability of low-velocity filtration combustion within an inert packed bed is studied based on the initial preheating non-uniformity. Based on the experimental phenomena, an initial thermal perturbation model is numerically proposed so as to predict the deformation behaviors of the flame front instabilities. The numerical prediction indicates that the assumption of an initial thermal perturbation is a feasible explanation as the cause of the flame front inclination instability. As the initial thermal perturbation increases, the phenomena of the flame front break and shrinking instabilities could easily occur at high filtration velocity or low equivalence ratio. This research is motivated by a scheduling problem found in the diffusion and oxidation areas of semiconductor wafer fabrication facilities, where the machines can be modeled as parallel batch processors. Total weighted tardiness on parallel batch machines with incompatible job families and unequal ready times of the jobs is attempt to minimize. Given that the problem is NP hard, a simple heuristic based on the Apparent Tardiness Cost (ATC) Dispatching Rule is suggested. Using this rule, a look-ahead parameter has to be chosen. Because of the appearance of unequal ready times and batch machines it is hard to develop a closed formula to estimate this parameter. The use of inductive decision trees and neural networks from machine learning is suggested to tackle the problem of parameter estimation. The results of computational experiments based on stochastically generated test data are presented. The results indicate that a successful choice of the look-ahead parameter is possible by using the machine learning techniques. 相似文献

To characterize the thickness of a corrosive fluid system's coated facilities, such as pipes, tubes, tanks, and structural members, a complex ultrasonic transducer capable of measuring multilayered parts was fabricated and the time and frequency responses were evaluated. The target transducer was constructed with two active dual elements made from tape-cast PbNb2O6 sheets and an additional thin-film active element made from sol–gel spin-coated Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3 films. After adjusting the properties of each active element, a complex transducer was assembled after matching the impedance of each element and considering the minimal interference between the active layers. The impulse response of the assembled complex transducer shows excellent characteristics. Summary. The propulsive performance and vortex shedding of an oscillating foil, which mimics biological locomotion, are investigated based on a computational fluid dynamics analysis. The objectives of this study are to investigate unsteady forces, in particular a thrust force, for the foil in pitching and plunging motion, and to deal with the relations of the propulsive performance with leading-edge vortex structure and vortex shedding in the near wake. The two-dimensional incompressible Navier–Stokes equations in the vorticity and stream-function formulation are solved by fourth-order essentially compact finite difference schemes for the space derivatives and a fourth-order Runge-Kutta scheme for the time advancement. To reveal the mechanism of the propulsive performance, the unsteady forces and the shedding of the leading- and trailing- edge vortices of the foil in the pitching and plunging motion are analyzed. Based on our calculated results, three types of the leading-edge vortex shedding, which have an effective influence on the vortex structures in the wake of the oscillating foil, are identified. The effects of some typical factors, such as the frequency and amplitude of the oscillation, the phase difference between the pitching and plunging motions, and the thickness ratio of the foil, on the vortex shedding and the unsteady forces are discussed. 相似文献
