A noise analysis of bipolar harmonic mixers (BHM) used for direct-conversion receivers is presented in this paper. Analytical and simulated results for the transfer function of the mixer are presented. Simple analytical expressions describing noise contribution from all sources are derived. Estimation of flicker noise quite agrees with harmonic-balance simulation results. Based on the derived expressions, total time average noise power spectral density (PSD) at the output is compared with simulation results. For the recommended regions of operation, error is less than 20%. The overall BHM noise figure (NF) is calculated and optimized based on a simple extracted formula. Errors introduced by analysis remain within a 1.5-dB margin with respect to simulation results. The validity of analysis for high frequencies is justified. The effect of flicker noise coefficient on the overall mixer NF is compared for different available processes. 相似文献

Ten patients with chronic non-allergic rhinitis and presenting mainly with nasal obstruction due to hypertrophied inferior turbinates were subjected to laser turbinectomy using CO2. Tiny biopsies were taken, at the time of surgery as well as one month later, and were processed for transmission electron microscopy. The ultrastructural observations included: early epithelial loss which was followed by prompt regeneration of healthy epithelium, decreased number and activity of the seromucinous glands, fibrosis of the connective tissue stroma, as well as diminished number and congestion of the cavernous blood spaces. Some optical parameters of Bi2Te2Se thin films, determined from the measured absorbance and transmittance at normal incidence in the visible spectral range, were studied as functions of film thickness and annealing temperature. These parameters were found to be sensitive to both film thickness and microstructure change caused by annealing in a film. The effect of thickness and temperature of annealing on the optical gap was interpreted in terms of elimination of defects and change of disordering in the amorphous matrix. 相似文献

In this study 24 factorial design associated with surface response methodology was used to develop and optimize a reconstitutable suspension of rifampicin. The study illustrated the effect of the percentage of each of sucrose, avicel RC-591, hydrophilic aerosil, and aerosol-OT on the flowability and the bulk density of the dry mixture as well as the viscosity, the sedimentation volume, and the redispersibility of the suspension. An empirical equation developed for each of the above responses was used with the aid of computer software to plot a contour map of the most significant effects and interactions. Five replicates at the center of the design were used to independently calculate the experimental error and to detect any curvature in the response surface. Luminescent solar concentrator (LSC) samples with polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) as the matrix substrate have been prepared by a casting method using the organic laser dyes: Rh.6G, Rh.B and K1. Optical absorption measurements have been carried out in the wavelength region 200–900 nm at room temperature before and after the samples have been exposed to sunlight for up to 95 days. The obtained spectra in the visible region are interpreted in terms of photodegradation of the dye molecules. Granules containing indomethacin crystals are coated with Eudragit solutions of different RL/RS ratios using a pan coating technique. The process is reproducible with regard to drug content, inexpensive and the formed granules were directly compressed into tablets. In vitro release of indomethacin from coated granules, tablets and capsules was studied as a function of different ratios of Eudragit RL/RS in the coating solution. The release of the drug was significantly reduced by the coating process in comparison with a formulation made from uncoated granules, prepared using 10 per cent gelatin solution as a binder. The beginning of failure of a (ZrO2-7%Y2O3)/(Ni-22%Co-17%Cr-12.5%Al-0.6%Y) duplex andgraded coating systems on lnconel 617 and IN738LC in burner rig tests has been characterized.The test conditions are 40 s heating up to 75O℃ substrate temperature followed by 80 s aircooling. Although the good appearance and biocompatibility of dental porcelains, failures are still of considerable concern because of the limited properties to all ceramic system. Physical properties that might be considered ideal include high strength, resistance to abrasion, and resistance to the hostile oral environment. Porcelain has been considered by many of its physical characteristic are similar to those of enamel. In 1983 a new modality of treatment, the etched porcelain restoration was introduced by Simonsen and Calamia. The newly developed ingot growing techniques, as the three-grain and the columnar multigrain ingot processes, are now offering the possibility of slicing thinner wafers (≤ 100 μm). In this paper we present the results obtained on p type large area (≥ 100 cm2) and 100 μm thick wafers by using both conventional and reverse cell manufacturing technologies.The conventional cells are provided with aluminium or boron BSF plus screen-printed silver mirror or a silver-aluminium net; the reverse cells have a FSF and the deep back junction completely covered by a screen-printed or CVD silver layer.The constructing parameters have been chosen on the base of one and two dimensions modeling and both raw material and devices have been completely characterized.This work shows that very thin wafers do not introduce serious problems for the conventional manufacturing of solar cells. The efficiencies of the normal and of the reverse cells are found to be comparable and are of the same order than those of thicker cells, however at a significant lower cost. The main obtained result has to be related to the demonstration of a cell manufacturing feasibility starting from very thin wafers. 相似文献
