Inferior crude oil and fuel oil upgrading lead to escalating increase of hydrogen consumption in refineries. It is imperative to reduce the hydrogen consumption for energy-saving operations of refineries. An integration strategy of hydrogen network and an operational optimization model of hydrotreating (HDT) units are proposed based on the characteristics of reaction kinetics of HDT units. By solving the proposed model, the operating conditions of HDT units are optimized, and the parameters of hydrogen sinks are determined by coupling hydrodesulfurization (HDS), hydrodenitrification (HDN) and aromatic hydrogenation (HDA) kinetics. An example case of a refinery with annual processing capacity of eight million tons is adopted to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed optimization strategies and the model. Results show that HDS, HDN and HDA reactions are the major source of hydrogen consumption in the refinery. The total hydrogen consumption can be reduced by 18.9% by applying conventional hydrogen network optimization model. When the hydrogen network is optimized after the operational optimization of HDT units is performed, the hydrogen consumption is reduced by 28.2%. When the benefit of the fuel gas recovery is further considered, the total annual cost of hydrogen network can be reduced by 3.21×107 CNY·a-1, decreased by 11.9%. Therefore, the operational optimization of the HDT units in refineries should be imposed to determine the parameters of hydrogen sinks base on the characteristics of reaction kinetics of the hydrogenation processes before the optimization of the hydrogen network is performed through the source-sink matching methods.  相似文献

The need of fast regulation of electricity production leads to a number of inconveniences occurred to the electric generation system and the electric market, especially to the nuclear power. A new concept to control nuclear power production is posed in order to allow the regulation of the electricity sent to the grid. This concept proposes the joint operation of a nuclear power plant, a coal power plant with postcombustion capture and a methanation plant. The cost effectiveness of this technology and its capability to reduce the CO2 emissions -consumed in the methanation process- are assessed through the design and economic and environmental analysis of a hybrid facility. Mainly due to the increase of the operating hours of the coal-fired power plant, the environmental feasibility of the initial proposal seems to be limited. However, given that benefits are expected in the medium and long-term (2020–2030) for the Power to Gas facility, a future alternative use is proposed. The target of this new alternative configuration will be the storage of CO2 together with the storage of renewable energy.  相似文献

Learning and teaching processes, like all human activities, can be mediated through the use of tools. Information and communication technologies are now widespread within education. Their use in the daily life of teachers and learners affords engagement with educational activities at any place and time and not necessarily linked to an institution or a certificate. In the absence of formal certification, learning under these circumstances is known as informal learning. Despite the lack of certification, learning with technology in this way presents opportunities to gather information about and present new ways of exploiting an individual’s learning. Cloud technologies provide ways to achieve this through new architectures, methodologies, and workflows that facilitate semantic tagging, recognition, and acknowledgment of informal learning activities. The transparency and accessibility of cloud services mean that institutions and learners can exploit existing knowledge to their mutual benefit. The TRAILER project facilitates this aim by providing a technological framework using cloud services, a workflow, and a methodology. The services facilitate the exchange of information and knowledge associated with informal learning activities ranging from the use of social software through widgets, computer gaming, and remote laboratory experiments. Data from these activities are shared among institutions, learners, and workers. The project demonstrates the possibility of gathering information related to informal learning activities independently of the context or tools used to carry them out.  相似文献
