基于XML的企业信息集成平台实现及应用

随着企业可获取的信息的大量增长,信息的种类和结构也越来越丰富。从传统的关系数据库,到XML文档以及分布于Web上的大量半结构化的信息。如何把各种不同的数据源统一在一个信息集成平台上,使用户能够高效地,透明地操作各类信息,已经成为一个重要的课题。文章提出的基于XML的企业信息集成框架CII,详细讨论了该框架的设计、实现,以及在国家“九五”重点科技攻关项目:石化应用软件典型示范工程及产品开发上的应用。同时针对工业生产企业中实时数据库的大量使用,该文还专门研究了集成实时数据库信息面临的问题,并提出了相应的解决方案。     

Designing wrapper components for e-services in integrating heterogeneous systems

Component-based approaches are becoming more and more popular to support Internet-based application development. Different component modeling approaches, however, can be adopted, obtaining different abstraction levels (either conceptual or operational). In this paper we present a component-based architecture for the design of e-applications, and discuss the concept of wrapper components as building blocks for the development of e-services, where these services are based on legacy systems. Multimedia technologies for structuring and retrieval of TV news

Because of the media digitization, a large amount of information such as speech, audio and video data is produced everyday. In order to retrieve data from these databases quickly and precisely, multimedia technologies for structuring and retrieving of speech, audio and video data are strongly required. In this paper, we overview the multimedia technologies such as structuring and retrieval of speech, audio and video data, speaker indexing, audio summarization and cross media retrieval existing today for TV news detabase. The main purpose of structuring is to produce tables of contents and indices from audio and video data automatically. In order to make these technologies feasible, first, processing units such as words on audio data and shots on video data are extracted. On a second step, they are meaningfully integrated into topics. Furthermore, the units extracted from different types of media are integrated for higher functions. Yasuo Ariki, Ph.D.: He is a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Informatics at the Ryukoku University. He received his B.E., M.E. and Ph.D. in information science from Kyoto University in 1974, 1976 and 1979, respectively. He had been an Assistant in Kyoto University from 1980 to 1990, and stayed at Edinburgh University as visiting academic from 1987 to 1990. His research interests are in speech and image recognition and in information retrieval and database. He is a member of IPSJ, IEICE, ASJ, Soc. Artif. Intel. and IEEE.

数字校园公共服务平台研究

本文研究了数字化校园公共服务平台的设计方法,并结合Web Services技术使各个管理信息系统实现了互联互通,为数字校园提供的更丰富的内容。应用分层的应用程序设计方案,使系统具有更大的灵活性;应用Web Services进行集成,使系统具有更好的松耦合性。本文所应用的filter结构在系统的开发中得到了很好的应用,取得了预期的效果。     

SMIL在多媒体教学资源集成中的应用研究

SMIL是XML的一项具体应用,可以将不同的多媒体素材集成在一起,并在时空上对它们的演示进行同步控制,克服了HTML在处理动态多媒体信息方面的缺点和不足,因而是解决多媒体教学资源库建设中资源集成的有效解决方法;本文对SMIL在多媒体教学资源集成中的关键技术进行了分析,并提出了基于SMIL的多媒体资源集成系统的设计思路与实现过程,对资源库的有效挖掘利用,提供了有益的帮助。
