In the first report of this study, dealing with CCFL and CCFL breakdown phenomena associated with the injection of emergency core cooling spray water into upper plenum during refill-reflood phase of a BWR LOCA, the following tests results were obtained. The injected water maintained two-phase pool across the top of entire core after CCFL breakdown. The pool level oscillated near spray elevation. The objective of this paper is to clarify the mechanism of these phenomena, evaluating steam and spray flow effects on CCFL breakdown. It is found that when spray flow rate was slightly larger than the CCFL drainage deter- mined by core steam flow, pool maintained at some constant level near spray elevation, after CCFL breakdown. On the other hand, when spray flow was appreciably larger than CCFL drainage, pool level slowly oscillated. The oscillation was caused by significant changes in steam condensation rate, and the corresponding subcooling penetration into the fuel bundles, when the pool level passed the spray elevation. The TRAC-BD1 analysis of test results suggested the small sector wall effect of test apparatus on CCFL breakdown phenomena. 相似文献

Abstract— Backlights are indispensable for the operation of LCDs. Light sources or lamps are the core components of backlights. There are many types of light sources for backlights such as cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFLs), external electrode fluorescent lamps (EEFLs), hot‐cathode fluorescent lamps (HCFLs), flat fluorescent lamps (FFLs), and light‐emitting diodes (LEDs). Recently, FFLs are becoming one the most interesting light sources for LCD‐TV backlights. Channel profiles and the structure of FFLs in more detail are discussed in this paper. The channel profile of FFLs with maximum brightness uniformity was designed, fabricated, and characterized. The FFL backlight demonstrated 10,500 nits and the total power consumption was 110 W at room temperature. 相似文献

Abstract— A reliable external‐electrode mercury fluorescent lamp (EEFL) has been developed for backlighting a liquid‐crystal‐television (LC‐TV) display. This involved the investigation of the EEFL characteristics and the improvement in the construction of the EEFL and drive waveforms, in the frequency range of 50–200 kHz, that affects the EEFL characteristics. The results showed that a sinusoidal waveform is suitable for driving the EEFL, and EEFL's voltage decreases when the frequency of the drive waveform is increased. 相似文献

在压水堆安全性分析中,需准确预测气液逆流极限(CCFL)工况下两相流动关系。本文采用水下淹没排气的实验方法,对相同管长不同管径垂直管的CCFL特性进行可视化实验,并对垂直管CCFL关联式模型进行分析,主要结论有:①在CCFL工况下垂直管内流型为环状流动;表观气速较大时,大管径管内液膜呈搅拌状,小管径管内液膜呈波动状;随表观气速减小,均转为液面光滑的自由降膜流动;②Wallis数模型过度关联了管径变化对垂直管CCFL特性的影响;Kutateladze数和Froude-Ohnesorge数模型也不能良好关联垂直管CCFL特性的管径效应;③提出了新的CCFL无量纲参数和相应的实验关联式,由此可使垂直管CCFL特性的管径效应得以统一表征,还可以关联物性参数变化的影响。 相似文献

A steady separate effects test on BWR spray cooling was performed at relatively high system pressures using the ROSA-III test vessel. These tests were conducted in order to promote a better understanding of the thermal-hydraulic phenomena in LOCA experiments and to obtain information necessary for improvement of analytical codes. The fraction of entrainment or overflow for various spray conditions was obtained and the data of CCFL at the upper tie-plate were compared with correlations. It was shown that the occurrence of CCFL significantly diminished core cooling effects and that rod quench by fall back water was quite irregular and unstable. Reflood core cooling was also studied. 相似文献
