Combined Application of Antibrowning,Heat Treatment and Modified‐Atmosphere Packaging to Extend the Shelf Life of Fresh‐Cut Lotus Root

This work aimed to determine the effects of different concentrations of antibrowning treatments (that is, distilled water [DW], 1% ascorbic acid [AA], 0.5% chamomile [CM], and 1% AA + 0.5% CM) and heat‐treatment (55 °C for 45 s) combined with packaging under 4 different modified‐atmosphere gas compositions (that is, air, vacuum, 100% CO₂, 50% CO₂/50% N₂) on the quality and microbiological characteristics of fresh‐cut lotus root. The quality characteristics (that is, color, weight loss, texture, pH, polyphenoloxidase activity, and total phenolic content) of the AA + CM‐dipped sample in 100% CO₂ packaging were maintained significantly better than those of the other samples (P < 0.05). The microbiological counts observed in the DW‐dipped sample during storage were higher than those of the AA, CM, and AA + CM samples, and heat‐treatment retarded the microbiological deterioration of fresh‐cut lotus root. Therefore, the results revealed that dipping in an antibrowning treatment (AA + CM), and 100% CO₂ MAP with heat treatment effectively extend the shelf life of fresh‐cut lotus root to 21 d at 5 °C.     

On the Influence of Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) during the Synthesis of Ultrafine Emulsions

The influence of PVP as well as the influence of the excess of silver ions, and the quantity of silver iodide in the crystal phase, on the physical ripening of Lipmann’s emulsions are investigated. It is established that PYP favours the formation of ultrafine emulsions. Its inhibitory influence on physical ripening makes it possible to regulate and equalize the activity of the gelatins, used in the synthesis of Lipmann’s emulsions.

Emulsions with a resolving power of 3200 1/mm satisfactory sensitivity and edge sharpness are synthesized.     

Maximum A Posteriori -based automatic target detection in SAR images

The paper presents an algorithm of automatic target detection in Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) images based on Maximum A Posteriori(MAP). The algorithm is divided into three steps. First, it employs Gaussian mixture distribution to approximate and estimate multi-modal histogram of SAR image. Then, based on the principle of MAP, when a priori probability is both unknown and learned respectively, the sample pixels are classified into different classes c = {target, shadow, background}. Last, it compares the results of two different target detections. Simulation results preferably indicate that the presented algorithm is fast and robust, with the learned a priori probability, an approach to target detection is reliable and promising. 本文研究了采后MAP处理对甜樱桃贮藏生理的影响，结果表明：在贮藏过程中LOX和CAT活性呈下降趋势，而PG和POD活性以及MDA含量呈上升趋势，并且袋子越厚，上升的越慢。     

Modified Atmosphere and Modified Humidity Packaging of Fresh Mushrooms

Sorbitol and sodium chloride were used to modify the in-package relative humidity (IPRH) of fresh mushrooms (water irrigated and CaCl₂ irrigated) stored in a modified atmosphere package (MAP) at 12°C. No differences were observed for maturity index and microbial population between mushrooms stored in modified atmosphere package (MAP) with or without moisture absorbers. Lower IPRH was observed in packages containing water irrigated (normally grown) mushrooms with sodium chloride, but resulted in over-drying of mushrooms and did not improve color. Normally grown mushrooms with 10 and 15g sorbitol had the best color. IPRH of 87–90%, within 9 days storage was considered optimum. No improvements in quality were found with moisture absorbers with normally grown mushrooms. However, a small amount of sorbitol helped to avoid condensation with CaCl₂ irrigated mushrooms.     

衰落信道中结合短帧交织的Turbo码的研究
