A new voltage control equipment using fuzzy inference

Power system control equipment needs higher sensitivity and operational reliability. Advanced voltage control equipment is needed for reducing the frequency of tap changes and improving the characteristics (the relationship between the actual voltage and reference voltage) of the voltage to meet today's power system requirements. However, these objectives are in a trade-off relationship. Studies of voltage control derived from a knowledge base suitable for electric power systems can satisfy these objectives using fuzzy inference. Compared with corresponding conventional equipment, the new equipment improved the deviation of 30 min average voltage of 30 percent. This paper describes the design concept of new voltage control equipment using fuzzy inference. In addition, field test results are described along with rules of fuzzy inference, membership functions, and the deviation of 30 min average voltage through detailed simulation.

文献[1]提出了一种用于直扩系统的PN码自适应门限算法。但该文献也指出,此算法对门限总数十分敏感。当门限总数设置不当时,系统的平均捕获时间将显著增加。这限制了该算法在实际中的应用。本文就此提出了改进,给出了算法及电路框图。仿真结果表明,与原方案相比,改进算法改善了对门限总数的敏感性,降低了PN码平均捕获时间。     

On the Locus of Speed-Accuracy Trade-Off in Reaction Time: Inferences From the Lateralized Readiness Potential.

Lateralized readiness potentials (LRPs) were used to determine the stage(s) of reaction time (RT) responsible for speed-accuracy trade-offs (SATs). Speeded decisions based on several types of information were examined in 3 experiments, involving, respectively, a line discrimination task, lexical decisions, and an Erikson flanker task. Three levels of SAT were obtained in each experiment by adjusting response deadlines with an adaptive tracking algorithm. Speed stress affected the duration of RT stages both before and after the start of the LRP in all experiments. The latter effect cannot be explained by guessing strategies, by variations in response force, or as an indirect consequence of the pre-LRP effect. Adaptive control in a heating vessel: A comparative study

This paper presents experimental results obtained in temperature adaptive control of a heating vessel. A non-linear model of the process showed that the feed flow rate causes severe variations in time constant and process gain. An extended horizon self-tuning controller and two different model reference adaptive controllers were tested. The influence of design parameters on control performance for each algorithm was assessed. The control system was disturbed with load and setpoint changes.     

Comparative study on adaptive rational macromodels of highly resonant structures

Two macromodeling techniques using rational bases are investigated to accurately predict the natural frequencies of highly resonant microwave structures. Three methods are proposed and compared to calculate pole‐free solutions to the Thiele continued fraction and vector fitting pole‐residue models of the characteristic equation det[Z(s)]. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Adaptive fuzzy decentralized control for nonlinear large-scale systems based on high-gain observer

An adaptive fuzzy decentralized backstepping output-feedback control approach is proposed for a class of nonlinear large-scale systems with completely unknown functions,the interconnections mismatched in control inputs,and without the measurements of the states.Fuzzy logic systems are employed to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions,and an adaptive high-gain observer is developed to estimate the unmeasured states.Using the designed high-gain observer,and combining the fuzzy adaptive control theory with backstepping approach,an adaptive fuzzy decentralized backstepping output-feedback control scheme is developed.It is proved that the proposed control approach can guarantee that all the signals of the closed-loop system are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded(SUUB),and that the observer errors and the tracking errors converge to a small neighborhood of the origin by appropriate choice of the design parameters.Finally,a simulation example is provided to show the eectiveness of the proposed approach.
