The seismic analysis of a viscoelastic half-space under two-dimensional (2D) oblique incident waves is carried out by the finite/infinite element method (FIEM). First, the frequency-domain exact solutions for the displacements and stresses of the free field are derived in general form for arbitrary incident P and SV waves. With the present formulation, no distinction needs to be made for SV waves with over-critical incident angles that make the reflected P waves disappear, while no critical angle exists for P waves. Next, the equivalent seismic forces of the earthquake (Taft Earthquake 1952) imposed on the near-field boundary are generated by combining the solutions for unit ground accelerations with the earthquake spectrum. Based on the asymmetric finite/infinite element model, the frequency-domain motion equations for seismic analysis are presented with the key parameters selected. The results obtained in frequency and time domain are verified against those of Wolf’s, Luco and de Barros’ and for inversely computed ground motions. The parametric study indicated that distinct phase difference exists between the horizontal and vertical responses for SV waves with over-critical incident angles, but not for under-critical incident angles. 目的对成年腹股沟疝患者应用平面补片进行前入路手术(Lichtenstein手术)和后入路手术(Kugel手术),比较2种术式的临床应用效果。方法采用前瞻性随机对照方法,将126例腹股沟疝患者随机分为前入路组与后入路组2组,每组63例,分别进行Lichtensten术和Kugel术,比较2组平均手术时间、平均住院时间、术后并发症发生率、术后复发率及住院期间费用,评价2种手术方法的疗效。结果在平均手术时间、异物感、腹股沟疼痛感、平均住院时间、平均住院费用等方面,2组比较差异均有统计学意义(P〈0.05或P〈0.01)。在切口血清肿、术后尿潴留、复发率等方面,2组比较差异均无统计学意义(P〉0.05)。结论后入路手术治疗成年腹股沟疝具有一定优势,总体并发症发生率较前入路低。 相似文献

This paper presents an empirical study on the location choice of creative enterprises in Shanghai. It is suggested that categorical differences between different subsectors of creative industries are significant, especially with regard to a division between technology-intensive sectors and culture-related agencies. Creative enterprises from technology-intensive sectors such as architecture design and IT enterprises appear to differ greatly from cultural and fashion related agencies in location choice due to the disaggregated knowledge inputs involved in the production processes, as well as the divergences in market operation. Meanwhile, this study suggests that some location variables for creative industries (e.g. human capital and face-to-face contact) highlighted by West-based studies on the “creative class” are relevant in the case of Shanghai while other factors like sexual tolerance bear minor importance. 相似文献

A key challenge for research and practice is to understand how the ecosystem approach can be rolled out in spatial planning, management and decision-making. Any framework used to apply the ecosystem approach needs to not only be environmentally coherent but also socially meaningful. Drawing on semi-structured interviews and case studies, this paper examines the potential role of one place-based approach, landscape character assessment, as a medium to ensure socio-ecological relevance in operationalising the ecosystem approach. Our findings show that although place-based approaches have value as frameworks for distilling the ecosystem approach into a manageable form, their ecological relevance is a subject of debate. However, the potential relationship between landscape character, function and ecosystem services presented a powerful pathway for operationalising the ecosystem approach. The ecosystem approach may, in turn, complement landscape character assessment by providing a framework for exploring the functional dimension of landscape condition. 相似文献

This paper deals with the enrichment of the both mechanical and electrical properties of Kevlar and glass fibres, not including mounting the weight of the structure by adding the iron (Fe) nanocomposites with the epoxy resin. The Fe is mixed well with the epoxy to increase the mechanical constancy and the electrical property of the fibre by a non-covalent approach. The synthesis of metal nanocomposite with epoxy is done by the direct mixing method. The Kevlar and the glass fibre were taken as the samples for this study. The zinc oxide and epoxy were mixed simultaneously using a mechanical stirrer to give appropriate dispersion and adhesion without disturbing the hydrophobic performance of the epoxy, and the Fe powder and epoxy are added with a hardener in the ratio of 1:1:0.1. The results show that the mechanical property of the fibre increased with the decrease in the weight of the laminate when they are treated with the metal nanocomposite. 相似文献

The approach of positioning energy dissipaters between adjacent structures can effectively prevent the collision of two adjacent buildings. For adjacent retrofitted structures, an effective strengthening approach that involves implementing energy‐dissipation measures both between and within buildings is proposed. This paper is based on the actual Shanghai ShiMao International Plaza. To avoid having to strengthen most of the structural members, the strengthening measure of energy dissipation is selected because of its construction cost and time constraints. This approach involves replacing several dampers between the adjacent structures and adding viscous damping walls in the retrofitted structure to reduce the seismic response of the retrofitted structure back to the original level. Additionally, a practical calculating method for the equivalent additional damping ratio for the adjacent structures connected by energy dissipaters is proposed. The results show that the effect of energy dissipation in the retrofitted structure is prominent and that the goal of indirect strengthening is achieved. The strengthening approach of energy dissipation and the calculating method of the equivalent additional damping ratio for adjacent structures provide a reference for similar engineering designs. 相似文献
