Geometric features of the flame propagation process for an SI engine having dual‐ignition system

Flame front surface area and enflamed volume (the volume enclosed with flame front) is theoretically analysed for a spark‐ignition engine, having cylindrical disc‐shaped combustion chamber with two spark plugs located axisymmetrically on cylinder head, between cylinder axis and cylinder wall. Spherical flame front assumption is used. A computer code is developed based on purely geometric consideration of the flame development process in combustion chamber, and is used to investigate the effects of variations of spark plugs' locations on geometric features of the flame front. 低速爆轰管对黑火药的点传火性能研究

文章采用中心点火管结构的实验装置研究了黑火药的点传火性能。用低速爆轰 (L VD)中心点火管来点燃黑火药时 ,1# ～ 3# 大粒黑药的传火速度为 70 0 m· s-1～ 80 0 m· s-1数量级 ,燃烧波宽度在 3.1ms～ 3.5 ms,最大压力峰值 :1# 为 36 .4 MPa,2 # 为 2 4 .0 MPa,3# 为 38.0 MPa。用普通中心点火管点燃黑火药时 ,2 # 、3# 和钝化 2 # 大粒黑的传火速度分别为 6 1.2 m· s-1、6 8.2 m·s-1和 4 0 .1m· s-1,最大燃烧波宽度分别为 9.2 ms、6 .3ms和 9.5 ms。燃烧波表明 ,L VD中心传火管与普通中心传火管相比较 ,在传火管的不同位置处 ,前者的 P- t曲线一致性远高于后者。

导汽箱产生长裂纹和大面积凹陷原因分析、处理及预防对策

对硫酸废热锅炉锅筒内自然循环的导汽箱产生长裂纹和大面积凹陷的原因作了分析，提出处理该缺陷的方法，确保了锅炉的安全运行，并提高了蒸汽的品质。     

Increasing the corrosion resistance of equipment due to the use of film-forming amines

Results of a study of tube specimens cut from hot-water boilers show that film-forming octadecyl amine (ODA) used in the process of preservation removes deposition from the surface of the metal. An ODA film is preserved on the surface after repeated washing of the latter with hot water. The thermal ignition of lignocellulosics in infinite slab and cubic geometries

Wood shaving samples were heated in both cubic baskets and in a previously described system realising the conditions of the ‘infinite slab’ in thermal ignition. Results from the two sets of experiment were found to be totally consistent with each other.
