Comparison of mass transfer efficiency in horizontal rotating packed beds and rotating biological contactors

In this study, the mass transfer efficiencies of a novel horizontal rotating packed (h‐RPB) bed and the conventional disc‐type rotating biological contactor (RBC) were studied at four speeds and seven submergences. Pall rings of two different sizes (25, 38 mm), superintalox saddles and a wiremesh spiral bundle were used as packings in the h‐RPB. Volumetric gas–liquid mass transfer coefficients were determined by unsteady state absorption of atmospheric oxygen in de‐aerated water. Power consumption per unit liquid volume has been found for all geometries tested. The oxygen transfer efficiency values for the h‐RPB were found to be 2–5 kg kWh^?1 and for the disc RBC were found to be 1–2 kg kWh^?1. The performance of the h‐RPB was also compared with other gas–liquid contactors such as surface aerators. The study proves that the h‐RPB is a energy efficient alternative to conventional contactors. 多属性神经网络地震反演在NB油田水平井钻探中的应用

NB油田位于渤海海域,为新近系河流相稠油油田,储层横向分布不稳定,砂体厚度薄、连通性较差,油水关系复杂,开发设计部署了大量水平井。选择神经网络反演方法,建立地震属性与储层参数的非线性关系,进而根据其关系反演得到储层参数数据体,利用该数据体沿层切片提取储层预测信息,研究储层发育规律,指导该油田水平井的部署和钻探,取得了较好的效果,降低了钻探风险。用神经网络地震反演方法进行储层预测研究,指导水平井钻探,在渤海海域尚属首次。

软式操纵系统是通过钢索张力来传递操纵力的,钢索张力的变化直接影响飞机的操纵性能。张力调节器就是使钢索在各种状态下保持张力恒定的一种调节装置。对张力调节器的原理、结构形式进行了综合论述,并结合设计实例来说明钢索张力调节器的设计过程及设计中各参数的选取原则。     

Flows in rectangular microchannels driven by capillary force and gravity

Capillary phenomena was studied and discussed by the scholars about 200 years ago, but the progress was slow due to the limited equipment and manufacture precision of the microchannel. In recent years, because of the rapid development of MEMS and micromachining, many applications of the capillary flow is widely developing in some modern processes, such as underfilling of flip chip, flow in microfluidic chip or biochip, and a variety of other fields.     

Strength of Metals at High Strain Rates

Results of metal testing in impact tension–compression and indentation are analyzed. As the analysis of these data demonstrates, the strength of metals increases greatly with strain rates and at moderate indentation rates. At high indentation rates, a decrease in the specific energy (per unit volume of a displaced material) necessary for the formation of a conical cavity was observed. The account of the effects of viscosity, temperature increase upon plastic deformation and its localization can be used to explain the above phenomena.

长庆油田苏平1井固井技术研究与应用

苏平l井完井方式运用了技术套管一次上返、悬挂尾管和筛管技术。该井技术套管段井眼大、裸眼段长，加上大斜度、小间隙的尾管段．对水泥浆体系的性能要求较高。总结分析了长庆天然气水平井苏平l井的固井技术问题，介绍了苏平l井的井身结构与地层性质。通过研究．确定采用低失水GSJ水泥浆体系。该体系成功地应用在三次工程建井过程中，解决了长裸眼、大灰量、大斜度、尾管小间隙等固井技术问题。固井质量达到工程要求。     

定向井和水平井套管柱的优化设计

为了满足定向井和水平井套管设计的要求 ,在综合分析套管设计理论和方法的基础上 ,通过对套管柱载荷的计算 ,建立了其优化设计模型 ,利用数据库技术 ,研制出套管柱优化设计软件 ,并通过计算实例给出了软件的操作过程。软件界面友好 ,操作简单 ,功能齐全 ,设计者在进行套管设计时 ,只需输入设计所需基本参数 ,按界面提示操作即可完成全部设计工作 ,便于现场实际推广应用。
