Time difference of arrival (TDOA) is the positioning technique with the most potential in cellular mobile telecommunication
systems. The Taylor series expansion method has been widely used in solving nonlinear equations for its high accuracy and
good robustness. However, the performance of the Taylor’s method depends highly on the initial estimation. Therefore, one
new algorithm, hybrid optimizing algorithm (HOA) was proposed, which combines the Taylor series expansion method with the
steepest decent method. The steepest decent method features fast convergence at the initial iteration and small computation
complexity. HOA takes great advantage of both methods. Simulation results show that HOA achieves better performance on positioning
accuracy and efficiency.

This work is focused on the interaction of energetic passing beam ions andn=1 mode with a monotonic safety factorqprofile andSpecifically, the stability and mode frequency as well as mode structure of then=1 mode are calculated for scans of parameter values of beam ion beta, beam ion injection energy, beam ion orbit width, beam ion beta profile, as well as background plasma beta. The excited modes are identified as a low-frequency fishbone with the corresponding resonance ofwhereis the beam ion toroidal transit frequency andis the beam ion poloidal transit frequency. The simulated mode frequency is approximately proportional to the beam ion injection energy and beam ion orbit width. The mode structure is similar to that of internal kink mode. This paper discusses theoretical models for the composition dependence of equations of state and compares the quality of predictions against experimental thermodynamic property data. The mean density approximation (MDA) and the van der Waals one-fluid (VDW1) model are compared with hybrid mixing rules (HMR), in which rigorous composition dependence is used for the second and third virial coefficients and the conformai solution model is used for equation-of-state density terms beyond the third virial term. It is found that when values of unity are used for all binary and three-body unlike interaction parameters, calculated densities for methane-normal heptane mixtures have average absolute deviations of 3.54% for MDA, 4.04% for VDW1, and 2.59% for HMR. When vapor-liquid equilibrium calculations were performed for the methane-normal heptane system, average absolute deviations of calculatedK values from experimental values were 16.7% for methane and 36.4% for normal heptane using HMR, whereas when conformal solution model (CSM) mixing rules were used, the results were 34.8% for methane and 66.7% for normal heptane. When the binary interaction parameter for the characterization of interaction energies is determined, it is found to be less sensitive to state conditions in the case of HMR than either MDA or VDW1. In this paper we present the results of AC loss measurements on silver clad monocore tapes of Tl-1223 prepared by the powder-in-tube method. Losses arising from an external AC magnetic field are compared with those generated by AC transport currents (self-field losses). Critical current densities are derived from magnetic loss data and compared with those measured by the four point transport method. It was found that mechanically induced stresses (introduced by bending) only have a significant effect on the transport losses, via the critical current degradation. Such changes are not seen in measured magnetic losses, which are independent of mechanical stress, and remain unchanged, at least in the stress range used in our experiment. 相似文献
