Viscoelastic properties of cellulose derivatives: 1. Cellulose acetate

The dynamic mechanical spectrum of cellulose acetate (CA) from −130°C to 240°C has been determined at different frequencies (from 0.1 to 30 Hz). Three relaxations, designated , β and γ in order of decreasing temperature, and one shoulder (β*) above room temperature were found. Comparison with calorimetric and thermogravimetric measurements yields the conclusion that the relaxation (197°C at 3 Hz) is related to the glass-to-rubber transition and the β* shoulder (50°C–100°C) is due to loss of moisture. The β relaxation (−38°C at 3 Hz, ΔH = 100 kJ mol⁻¹) is tentatively assigned to local motions of the main chain (glucopyranose rings). The low-temperature γ relaxation (−88°C at 3 Hz, ΔH = 46 kJ mol⁻¹), is humidity-dependent: its intensity decreases when the samples are dried to moisture contents lower than that obtained by normal room conditioning (about 3%). Higher water contents shift the relaxation to lower temperatures without increasing the intensity of the mechanical loss. It is suggested that water associated with the unesterified methylol groups of cellulose acetate is responsible of the dynamic mechanical γ dispersion.

Some dynamic mechanical properties of unimodal and bimodal networks of poly(dimethylsiloxane)

Summary Elastomeric networks of polydimethylsiloxane prepared by end-linking chains having molecular weights in the range 18,500 to 220 g mol^-1 were studied from -128 to 50°C using a Rheovibron DDV III Viscoelastometer. In the case of the unimodal networks, the glass transition temperature T_g was generally insensitive to degree of cross-linking. The intensity of the tan δ relaxation, however, increased by over an order of magnitude over the range of cross-link densities investigated. Bimodal networks prepared from mixtures of relatively long and very short PDMS chains also had values of T_g which were insensitive to degree of cross-linking. Finally, as expected, the intensities of the tan δ peak for the bimodal networks could not be explained on the basis of simple additivity of contributions from the relatively long and the very short network chains.

Monitoring slope deformation using a 3-D laser image scanning system:a case study

An ILRIS-36D 3-D laser image scanning system was used to monitor the Anjialing strip mine slope on Pingshuo in Shanxi province.The basic working principles,performance indexes,features and data collection and processing methods are illustrated.The point cloud results are analyzed in detail.The rescale range analysis method was used to analyze the deformation characteristics of the slope.The results show that the trend of slope displacement is stable and that the degree of landslide danger is low.This work indicates that 3-D laser image scanning can supply multi-parameter,high precision real time data over long distances.These data can be used to study the distortion of the slope quickly and accurately.     

集中供热系统适量供热调节技术

集中供热的采暖用户实行计量收费并且具有自调节能力以后,必须要有与用户调节相匹配的运行调节手段,才能实现系统的适量供热.结合集中供热常用的系统形式,分别分析用户、热网及热源在各种运行方式下的调节特性及节能潜力,得出室内系统变流量、循环水泵变转速运行时节能量最高,并给出循环水泵定转速运行及变转速运行下的控制系统方框图.最后指出,应该针对新型供热系统和旧有供热系统的特点,制定相应的整体综合调节策略,才能实现节能最佳.     

悬挂式重力补偿系统精密跟踪方法

介绍了一种用于研究空间机器人微重力条件下的工作特性的悬挂系统——悬挂式重力补偿系统,并给出了悬挂模块的动力学模型.通过数值求解与仿真,运用非线性规化求出了一定条件下的最优控制参数;用正交试验寻优、基于时间最优控制的试凑法证明了优化模型的解正确性.该研究为空间机器人地面试验系统模拟微重力环境下精密跟踪运动提供了最优控制方法.
