Determination of polymer–polymer interaction parameters using inverse gas chromatography

A modified method is discussed that is based on Farooque and Deshpande's method to obtain polymer–polymer interaction parameters using inverse gas chromatography (IGC) data. In the Farooque and Deshpande method, the ratio of the difference of probe–polymer interaction parameters between two polymers and the probe volume [(χ₁₂ ? χ₁₃)/V₁] is used as the abscissa. In the modified method, the ratio [(?₂χ₁₂ + ?₃χ₁₃)/V₁] is used as the abscissa. Experimental data previously reported for a poly(?‐caprolactone)‐polyepichlorohydrin (PCL/PECH) blend and a poly(ethyl acrylate)‐poly(vinyl propionate) (PEA/PVPr) blend are analyzed. It is found that the slopes obtained by the new method had smaller deviations from the theoretical values than the Farooque and Deshpande method. The standard deviations of both slopes and intercepts obtained from the new method are also smaller. Using the new method, the polymer–polymer interaction parameters obtained from the intercept are negative numbers for the PCL/PECH system and very small positive numbers for PEA/PVPr. Explanations are given for the probe and concentration dependency of the polymer–polymer interaction parameters that are generally observed in IGC studies. A new method for selecting the best probe for calculating the interaction parameter is discussed. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci 90: 671–680, 2003     

山西引黄工程南干线7# 隧洞衬砌外水压力研究

本文采用综合修正系数取代规范建议的单一折减系数,用渗流场分析方法确定作用在引黄入晋南干线7#隧洞衬砌上的外水压力。由己知钻孔水位及泉水位反演出各地层的渗透张量及地表入渗强度求得初始渗流场。衬砌外水压力分析中考虑了衬砌混凝土的渗透性以及排水、灌浆等工程措施的影响。根据分析结果,提出了系统排水孔布置的建议,得出了在相应的排水减压措施下衬砌厚度由原设计35cm减至25cm,这一建议已被采用,取得了巨大经济效益。     

汽轮机数字电液控制系统及其应用

介绍了汽轮机数字电液控制系统（DEH）的硬件组成，着重论述了DEH的控制原理和控制过程。结合天津碱厂新建4^#机组,与前3台机组的液压控制调节方式进行比较，突出了DEH控制的优势。对DEH系统的软件作了介绍。同时对DEH的控制系统Foxboro I／A Series的系统软件和系统网络作了较详细的论述。最后，讨论了运行中可能出现的问题和解决方法。

Robustness issues in optimal control of unstable plants

This paper presents a robustness analysis of the optimal solution of the step tracking problem in a one-degree of freedom control architecture, for the discrete-time multivariable (MIMO) case. It is shown that the resulting closed loop becomes arbitrarily fragile, i.e. the sensitivity peak becomes arbitrarily large, for certain reference directions. The cause of this problem is that the optimal controller depends on the reference direction. The paper shows that this dependence can be eliminated with an alternative formulation of the optimal problem where the cost is averaged over all reference directions.     

MPEG-4流媒体技术及其实现方法

详细地介绍了一种基于MPEG-4压缩的嵌入式网络流媒体采集、传输和控制应用系统的设计与实现技术。该嵌入式平台采用203 MHz的ARM920T内核处理器S3C2410B,嵌入式操作系统采用Linux操作系统,用户可在这个系统平台上进行自主软件开发。视频采集模块采用TI公司的TVP5145,视频压缩芯片采用硬压缩W IS GO7007B进行处理,将Y:Cb:Cr格式的视频流转换为MPEG-4编码。

The influence of various reaction parameters on the performance of (α‐diimine)nickel(II) catalysts in ethylene oligomerization reactions

Modified (α‐diimine)nickel(II) catalysts are suitable for ethylene oligomerization reactions. Due to the mechanism (“chain running”), the formation of double‐bond isomers and branched olefins can be observed. The obtained oligomer mixtures show a Schulz–Flory distribution. Increasing ethylene pressure favors the selectivity of α‐olefin formation. The same effect can be observed when Lewis bases like thiophene or furane are added to the oligomerization reaction mixture. These results can be related to an interaction of the additives with the catalytic active species during the oligomerization process. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
