The State of the Art in Text Filtering

This paper develops a conceptual framework for text filtering practice and research, and reviews present practice in the field. Text filtering is an information seeking process in which documents are selected from a dynamic text stream to satisfy a relatively stable and specific information need. A model of the information seeking process is introduced and specialized to define text filtering. The historical development of text filtering is then reviewed and case studies of recent work are used to highlight important design characteristics of modern text filtering systems. User modeling techniques drawn from information retrieval, recommender systems, machine learning and other fields are described. The paper concludes with observations on the present state of the art and implications for future research on text filtering. Robustness of VS-MRAC with respect to unmodelled dynamics and external disturbances

A variable structure model reference adaptive controller (VS-MRAC) using only input and output measurements was recently proposed and shown to be globally asymptotically stable with superior transient behaviour and disturbance rejection properties. In this paper a singular perturbation approach is used in order to establish the robustness of the controller in the presence of unmodelled dynamics (parasitics) and disturbances. We develop a new Lyapunov-based technique to analyse the overall system and show that for sufficiently small parasitics the system remains stable and the output error is small in some sense.     

多孔挡板流化床还原UO3反应器模型的研究

针对ＵＯ＿３的Ｎ＿２还原反应建立了多孔挡板流化床反应器模型。将多孔挡板床的每一级视为具有相似的流动状态，每一级的上、下段称为稀、密相段，分别用鼓泡床和活塞流模型描述。该模型的计算值与￠６３ｍｍ的多孔挡板床Ｈ＿２还原ＵＯ＿３的热态实验值能较好的吻合。还预计了还原温度、操作气速和挡板结构参数对固相转化率的影响，为该类反应器的工业设计、放大和优化提供了依据。     

Implementing Information Systems: Some Practical Advice and a Richer Model

Recent research suggests that implementing information systems presents considerable difficulties and that many implementations are total or partial failures. This paper argues that what both practitioners and students require are richer and more acceptable models of information systems implementation. Accordingly, case study data concerning the introduction of manufacturing resource planning (MRP II) are used to illustrate five patterns of behaviour (rites) which capture important social actions; and four components of changing psychological orientation. It is argued that appreciation of the rites and psychological developments identified here will support effective change programmes. Guidelines based on our model are provided for practitioners.     

Thermomechanical stress fields in high-temperature fibrous composites. I: Unidirectional laminates

This two-part paper presents a closed-form procedure for evaluation of estimates of local thermomechanical stress fields in two-phase fibrous composites and laminates. The first part is concerned with a unidirectional elastic laminate subjected to uniform mechanical loads and to uniform changes in temperature. Both phases are assumed to be elastic, with temperature-dependent moduli and expansion coefficients; the solution reflects the influence of thermomechanical interactions. Exact solutions are not possible for any real system, because the local geometry is not known in detail. Instead, estimates of the fields are found from a modified Mori-Tanaka approximation. Examples are presented for two SiC/Ti---Al---Nb composites. Local stresses of interest are found after cooling from fabrication to room temperature. The presence of local yielding, and the influence of coupling terms on the local stress magnitudes are examined. 本文针对天然气井提高钻井速度问题,总结分析了盆地中部井身结构,水力、机械参数,聚合物钻井液,正注反挤固井等工艺技术对该地区钻速的影响。指出提高天然气井钻井速度,必须搞好系统工程,形成配套技术。     

流动微量量热法研究阴离子表面活性剂在油砂表面的吸附

用流动微量量热法研究了十二烷基硫酸钠(SDDS)和十二碳羧酸钠(SL)在克拉玛依油田九区和乌尔禾区油砂上的吸附,简要地计论了吸附机理。所得实验结果表明,SL 在油砂上的吸附强度比 SDDS 的要大,在相当低的浓度下即可迟到饱和吸附。     

含H2S井完井液用除硫剂和缓蚀剂

含H_2S井完井液对井下金属管串具有腐蚀性。采用锌基或铁基螯合物除硫剂及咪唑啉缓蚀剂可有效地防止这种腐蚀的发生。本文对H_2S的腐蚀、除硫剂和缓蚀剂产品及其对产层的损害作了介绍与探讨。
