Roll force,torque, lever arm coefficient,and strain distribution in edge rolling

Due to the growing importance of width control in strip and plate mills, edge rolling is currently an im-portant process in hot rolling mills. Research in edge rolling has been carried out, and in the present ar-ticle, models for roll force, torque, and lever arm coefficient are derived using the upper bound method. A simple, kinematically admissible deformation zone and velocity field, independent of friction in the roll gap, is proposed, and the energy dissipation rate is derived. The formula for energy dissipation rate has, in practice, no limitation because all edge rolling geometries are safely in the area where the formula is valid. Roll force and torque are derived by means of two independent integrals. Thus, the lever arm coef-ficient is evaluated from the expressions for roll force and torque using conventional rolling theory. Roll-ing trials report good agreement with theory. Measured roll forces are similar to calculated forces. Furthermore, the shape of the dogbone that arises during edge rolling is in fairly good agreement with the calculated dogbone shape. Deviations are due to the deviation from ideally plastic material in the ex-periments. Also, the strain distribution over the dogbone is similar to the proposed deformation zone. Thus, a new formula has been developed to a stage that it can be implemented in width control systems for edge rolling stands in hot strip and plate mills.

用光学显微镜和扫描电镜研究了双滑移取向（［０３４］，［１１７］）Ｃｕ单晶循环饱和后的表面形貌，塑性分切应变幅（γｐｌ）低于１０^（－３）时，［０３４］晶体表面上要为主滑移系的驻留滑移带（ＰＳＢｓ）占据，次滑移只在边缘区域启动，其ＰＳＢｓ细窄（＜１μｍ），体积百分数在１％以下．γｐｌ＞１０^（－３）时，次滑移开始在试样的中部启动，同时，表面出现二种贯穿晶体的宏观形变带（ＤＢＩ，ＤＢＩＩ），滑移带在形变带内集中．［１１７］晶体在γｐｌ＝４．４×１０^（－４）时，双滑移现象已十分明显．γｐｌ＞１０^（－３）时，表面也形成与前者相似的形变带．ＤＢＩ的惯习面与主滑移面平行（［０３４］晶体）或接近（［１１７］晶体），ＤＢＩＩ的惯习面则与前者垂直，文章讨论了形变带形成的可能原因．

An accelerated algorithm for full band electron–phonon scattering rate computation

Computing scattering rates of electrons and phonons stands at the core of studies of electron transport properties. In the high field regime, the interactions between all electron bands with all phonon bands need to be considered. This full band interaction implies a huge computational burden in calculating scattering rates. In this study, a new accelerated algorithm is presented for this task, which speeds up the computation by two orders of magnitude (100 times) and dramatically simplifies the coding. At the same time, it visually demonstrates the physical process of scattering more clearly.     

蒸发器结晶垢螺旋纽带自动清洗技术研究

概要地叙述了蒸发器结晶垢的螺旋纽带自动清洗技术的结构原理,直接利用蒸发溶液的循环流动能带动加热管内的螺旋纽带旋转清洗。根据结晶动力学原理,对碳钢管Φ25×2.5×1820内Na2SO4、KCIO3的冷却过饱和溶液的结晶盐垢进行流体动力学模拟试验研究。结果表明,能够满足一般生产蒸发器的自动清洗要求,达到长期连续生产的目的,并且设备成本费用低,具有显著的技术经济优势,可以在制糖、制盐、烧碱、化工、食品、制药等工业生产部门广泛应用。     

The role of pressure on thin amorphous carbon films deposited using microwave surface wave plasma CVD

We report the effects of gas composition pressure (GCP) on the optical, structural and electrical properties of thin amorphous carbon (a-C) films grown on p-type silicon and quartz substrates by microwave surface wave plasma chemical vapor deposition (MW SWP CVD). The films, deposited at various GCPs ranging from 50 to 110 Pa, were studied by UV/VIS/NIR spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and current–voltage characteristics. The optical band gap of the a-C film was tailored to a relatively high range, 2.3–2.6 eV by manipulating GCPs from 50 to 110 Pa. Also, spin density strongly depended on the band gap of the a-C films. Raman spectra showed qualitative structured changes due to sp³/sp² carbon bonding network. The surfaces of the films are found to be very smooth and uniform (RMS roughness < 0.5 nm). The photovoltaic measurements under light illumination (AM 1.5, 100 mW/cm²) show that short-circuit current density, open-circuit voltage, fill factor and photo-conversion efficiency of the film deposited at 50 Pa were 6.4 μA/cm², 126 mV, 0.164 and 1.4 × 10^− 4% respectively.     

Hydrolysis of human horny cells by alkaline protease: Morphological observation of the process

The interaction of highly purified alkaline protease fromBacillus sp. KSM-K16 with the horny cells of human skin contained in skin grime was directly visualized by electron microscopy. It became clear that the protease first penetrates the horny cells and then adsorbs, mainly onto the internal structure of the cells at the initial stage of hydrolysis, and directly hydrolyzes the keratin filaments, though the marginal band surrounding them retains its original shape. Then, hydrolysate produced from the keratin filaments flows out of the cell, and early in the hydrolysis process keratin filaments decrease and then disappear, leaving a marginal band, i.e., the cell turns to a hollow state. As a result, the remaining marginal band loses support from inside the cell, thus promoting cleavage and dispersion. Until this stage in the protease reaction, the remarkable liberation of hydrolysis products as water-soluble protein does not occur.     

基于似人特性的机器人拟人臂自主抓取动作规划

针对拟型服务机器人在家庭环境中的自主抓取任务,提出了一种强调运动姿态似人特性的机器人手臂动作的运动规划方法.该方法基于人体工程学中的快速上肢评估准则评价机器人运动姿态的似人特性,并在此基础上以机器人传速速率最优为目标规划机器人持物动作的姿态构型.最后以Motoman SDA10D拟人双臂机器人为例,具体介绍了该方法的应用和规划的结果,规划结果证明了该方法的可行性和有效性.     

沉降及外部荷载作用下益阳管廊防护效果分析

地下管廊常因填土沉降和外部荷载等原因造成管廊结构崩溃、接口错位、脱节、管身裂缝、破损等结构损伤。针对填土沉降和外部荷载作用下管廊出现的问题,结合益阳管廊项目,利用FLAC3D有限差分方法模拟土工布对填土沉降的防护以及土工格栅的构造因素对外部荷载作用下的管廊防护进行研究,模拟结果表明:益阳管廊底部铺设土工布可以有效控制填土沉降;管廊上部铺设3层,宽度为12 m的土工格栅有效减轻、分散外部荷载对管廊的作用力。
