2007年—2013年中国建筑类院校论文生产、空间分布与格局演变

文章是继2007年发表的《1994—2006年中国建筑类院校学术论文生产、空间分布与格局演变》的跟踪研究,讨论分析八所专业建设历史较长的建筑类院校在2007—2013年间的论文生产情况、年度变化、所选取的建筑与城市规划刊物上发文状况与年度变化等,后而扩展到26所院校并与1994—2006年份数据进行比较。研究认为下一个阶段建筑学和城市规划行业将在广度和深度方面有所拓展,要求行业更具社会性和深化专业能力。这也将导致原有的教育格局产生变化,出现综合性发展和单一领域深化多元共存的状况。     

江西近现代城市化的若干思考

简要介绍了江西近代城市的演变历程,总结了江西城市化的成就,针对城市化进程中出现的问题进行了反思,从城市基础设施建设、环境保护等方面入手,提出了一些指导性建议。     

The impact of schooling on academic achievement: Evidence from homeschooled and traditionally schooled students.

Although homeschooling is growing in prevalence, its educational outcomes remain unclear. The present study compared the academic achievements of homeschooled children with children attending traditional public school. When the homeschooled group was divided into those who were taught from organized lesson plans (structured homeschoolers) and those who were not (unstructured homeschoolers), the data showed that structured homeschooled children achieved higher standardized scores compared with children attending public school. Exploratory analyses also suggest that the unstructured homeschoolers are achieving the lowest standardized scores across the 3 groups. Online fuzzy based decision support system for human resource performance appraisal

The evaluation of employees’ performance is geared towards assessing individual’s contribution to the attainment of organizational goals. Performance appraisal (PA) is a key tool in an organization due to its potency to either make or mar such organization. Irregular standards for human resource PA, tribal sentiment, emotional status of assessors, and delay in appraisal processes among others are the key problems of the conventional methods of appraising employees’ performances in an organization. This research therefore proposes an online fuzzy based decision support system for human resource PA. The proposed system incorporates an efficient computational technique which handles the delays and bias associated with the orthodox performance appraisal system in organizations. The fuzzy inference system developed in this research uses Mamdani technique, Center of Gravity Defuzzification approach and takes as input the key attributes considered when appraising the performance of an employee. An experimental study of the proposed system was conducted using the dataset of academic staff. Standard statistical technique was used to measure the accuracy level of the System and the result shows that the proposed system has 0.78 probability (78%) of predicting accurately the appraisal status of an academic staff.

可持续再发展理念力求人与自然的接近,城市空间在满足人的生存与发展需要的同时还应达到与自然、生态有机结合的要求,因此可持续再发展理念的运用在走向未来的艺术设计中将起着不可忽视的关键作用。本文在阐释可持续再发展理念的同时,分析了城市人居环境发展中面对的问题,科技,设计,人文的结合,以及与可持续再发展理念的融合策略。     

Gold medal award for life achievement in the practice of psychology: Herbert J. Freudenberger.

The American Psychological Foundation (APF) Gold Medal Awards recognize distinguished and enduring records of accomplishments in 4 areas of psychology. The 1999 recipient of the Gold Medal Award for Life Achievement in the Practice of Psychology is Herbert J. Freudenberger. Freudenberger is cited for his exemplary professionalism as a psychologist and psychoanalyst dedicated to the alleviation of human suffering; for the sensitivity and conceptual genius that enabled him to establish the clinical construct of burnout; for his dedication to expanding our understanding of human behavior through theoretical contributions, teaching, and voluminous interdisciplinary and international publications; and for his innovative treatment of those afflicted with substance abuse problems. The 2001 Gold Medal Award for Life Achievement in the Practice of Psychology was awarded to Herman Feifel. He is considered the father of the modern death movement. His efforts broke the entrenched taboo that had previously discouraged scientific study of death and dying and have earned him international acclaim.
