造纸工业节能减排现状及政策

叙述了传统造纸工业是我国污染排放的重点行业,也是能耗大户;介绍了"十五"期间造纸工业节能减排的进展及其成果;公布了2006-2008年国家颁布的有关节能减排政策法规;提出造纸工业"十-五?节能减排的目标及工作要点.     

A note on adjustment as achievement.

Since "the degree of abnormality of any patient is always ultimately measured with reference to some observer" the community person is proposed as a composite observer. The clinical worker's main job is the assessment of the patient's achievement of relatively stable reference points and the evaluation of the patient's achievement of personal and social realities. An experiment is described which indicates that psychiatrists practicing in a common institutional setting show a higher agreement about the social world among themselves than any of the psychiatrists show with their patients. Differentiation of successful and unsuccessful premedical students.

The performance of 102 male nonveteran premedical students, as measured by high school rank, ACE test scores, Cooperative English test scores and a variety of nonintellective variables including the Physician scale of the Strong VIB, were used to attempt to predict (a) freshmen honorpoint ratio, (b) continuation in the premedical curriculum, and (c) acceptance by a medical school. Organizational software piracy: an empirical assessment

Application of Information Technology (IT) has had a significant impact on all aspects of business. Due to technology, the ease with which software can be pirated is increasing and is leading to increased concern for copyright protection. This paper reviews and discusses software piracy issues from a global perspective and reports the findings of a survey concerning the impact of sectors like government, private and academic in Turkey. Although software piracy has long been attracting the interest of academics, no quantitative research has ever been realized in this field in the country. Elsewhere also, most of the software piracy-related studies are from individuals' perspectives and are limited to students, academics, cost, and attitudes. Very few have reported findings related to IT professionals and organizations. The survey was conducted among IT managers of large-scale organizations from different sectors such as the government, private and academic community. Based on the survey of 162 IT managers, the results indicated that sectors have significant impact on software piracy to some extent.     

高职院校科研管理信息系统的设计与实现

随着Internet/Intranet的快速发展和校园网络的逐步形成,建立适应需求变化的科研管理信息系统日益成为各高校的迫切要求.通过对高职院校科研管理自身特点的分析,提出了将易用性、灵活性、开放性作为构建科研管理信息系统的3大设计原则.该系统采用成熟的三层体系结构,在.NET平台上,依托数据库实现了科研信息的采集、净化、整合和共享,有力地推动了科研管理工作向规范、准确、简便、高效方向的发展.     

夯实基础打造精品推动科研工作再上新台阶

2004年以来,安冶学院、马钢党校科研工作通过一系列措施,取得了一定成绩。今后两年,学校科研工作将进一步夯实基础,打造精品,争取再上新台阶。

制造业信息化建设过程,实际上是一个不断评价和完善的过程.制造业信息化绩效评价指标是企业信息化建设的指南,是衡量企业信息化水平的刻度.本文指出了制造业信息化绩效评价的意义,在分析中国制造业信息化水平评价现状的基础上,阐述了评价指标的构建原则,提出了评价制造业信息化绩效的具体指标和评价方法.     

Maternal education and children's academic achievement during middle childhood.

Despite much evidence that links mothers' educational attainment to children's academic outcomes, studies have not established whether increases in mothers' education will improve their children's academic achievement. Using data from the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth on children between the ages of 6 and 12, this study examined whether increases in mothers' educational attainment are associated with changes in children's academic achievement and the quality of their home environments. Results suggest that children of young mothers with low levels of education perform better on tests of academic skills and have higher quality home environments when their mothers complete additional schooling, whereas increased maternal education does not predict improvements in the achievement or home environments of children with older and more highly educated mothers. The estimated effects of additional maternal schooling for children of these younger mothers appear to be more pronounced for children's reading than math skills. Congruence of mother and teacher educational expectations and low-income youth's academic competence.

In this study, the authors examined the independent effects of teacher and mother expectations on youth achievement outcomes, the mediating factors that explain the relationship between adult expectations and student achievement, and the effects of congruent vs. dissonant adult expectations on achievement. Participants were an ethnically diverse sample of 522 low-income, urban youth (ages 9-16). Youth's mothers and teachers also participated. Findings show that adult expectations exert a significant influence on youth's academic competency and performance. Moreover, adult expectations matter both independently and conjointly: Comparably high mother and teacher expectations have a generative effect on youth outcomes, and comparably low mother and teacher expectations have a disruptive effect. Of particular interest are findings demonstrating the buffering effects of high mother expectations in the face of low teacher expectations.
