The problem of delay-dependent stability and passivity for linear neutral systems is discussed. By constructing a novel type Lyapunov-krasovskii functional, a new delay-dependent passivity criterion is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Model transformation, bounding for cross terms and selecting free weighting matrices [12-14] are not required in the arguments. In this paper, we design an H∞ controller for a class of lower-triangular time-delay systems. Backstepping is applied to construct an explicit feedback controller, and the closed-loop system maintains internal stability and an L2-gain from the disturbance input to the output. This paper provides an improved delay-range-dependent stability criterion for linear systems with interval time-varying delays. No model transformation and no slack matrix variable are introduced. Furthermore, overly bounding for some cross term is avoided. The resulting criterion has advantages over some previous ones in that it involves fewer matrix variables but has less conservatism, which is established theoretically. This paper concerns the problem of the delay-dependent robust stability of neutral systems with mixed delays and time-varying structured uncertainties. A new method based on linear matrix inequalities is presented that makes it easy to calculate both the upper stability bounds on the delays and the free weighting matrices. Since the criteria take the sizes of the neutral- and discrete-delays into account, it is less conservative than previous methods. Numerical examples illustrate both the improvement this approach provides over previous methods and the reciprocal influences between the neutral- and discrete-delays. 相似文献

This paper considers the robust stability of a class of switched neutral systems with discrete time-varying delay and time-varying structure. Sufficient conditions for exponential stability criteria are developed for arbitrary switching signal with average dwell time. The results are obtained based on Lyapunov’s stability analysis via Krasovsky–Lyapunov’s functionals and the related stability study is performed to obtain delay-dependent results. It is proved that the stabilizing switching rule is arbitrary if all the switched subsystems are exponentially stabile. These conditions are delay-dependent and are given in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Some examples are worked out to illustrate the effectiveness of the result. 相似文献
