The recently developed flower pollination algorithm is used to minimize the weight of truss structures, including sizing design variables. The new algorithm can efficiently combine local and global searches, inspired by cross-pollination and self-pollination of flowering plants, respectively. Furthermore, it implements an iterative constraint handling strategy where trial designs are accepted or rejected based on the allowed amount of constraint violation that is progressively reduced as the search process approaches the optimum. This strategy aims to obtain always feasible optimized designs. The new algorithm is tested using three classical sizing optimization problems of 2D and 3D truss structures. Optimization results show that the proposed method is competitive with other state-of-the-art metaheuristic algorithms presented in the literature. 相似文献

Petroleum is the live wire of modern technology and its operations, with economic development being positively linked to petroleum consumption. Many meta-heuristic algorithms have been proposed in literature for the optimization of Neural Network (NN) to build a forecasting model. In this paper, as an alternative to previous methods, we propose a new flower pollination algorithm with remarkable balance between consistency and exploration for NN training to build a model for the forecasting of petroleum consumption by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). The proposed approach is compared with established meta-heuristic algorithms. The results show that the new proposed method outperforms existing algorithms by advancing OPEC petroleum consumption forecast accuracy and convergence speed. Our proposed method has the potential to be used as an important tool in forecasting OPEC petroleum consumption to be used by OPEC authorities and other global oil-related organizations. M盆地形成演化可分为两期:早白垩世(130-96Ma)随着大西洋的分段、分期扩张,中非大断裂右行走滑并且产生了早期的M盆地;晚白垩世(96-75Ma)非洲大陆东侧印度洋尤其红海扩张加剧,中非大断裂由早白世的右行变为晚白垩世的左行,其形成演化史可概括为“早期右行成盆,晚期左行改造“。晚白垩世区域地质应力场的变化产生了挤压运动,对盆地构造有较大的改造,使盆地的构造很复杂,主要构造样式有压性背斜、正、负花状构造、直立断层、放置断块等。左旋压扭作用在盆地内尤其在南区形成了一系列压性背斜,成为油气富集的主要场所。由于构造演化史的变化,沉积中心不断向南转移,在南区沉积上白垩统优质的厚层泥岩,形成了大油田的区域盖层,控制油气的分布与富集。 相似文献

The hydrodynamics and mass transfer of Plum Flower Mini Ring(PFMR),Pall Ring and Intalox Saddle were studied in a 600mm diameter column with air-oxygen-water system over a wide range of liquid loasds.It was shown from the experiments that PFMR had much lower resistance,larger throughput and higher mass transfer efficiency than Pall Ring and Intalox Saddle.It was clear from the comparison that existing equations could not predict the performance of packings very well at high liquied loads.Therefore,new semi-empirical equations of pressure drop,flooding gas velocity and height of transfer unit(HTU)were proposed based on the experimental data. 相似文献

In an attempt to elucidate the biological effects and underlying mutations involving flower color in ornamental plants following carbon ion beam radiation,shoots of geranium were exposed at dosages of 0,10,15,30,and40 Gy,and one flower color mutant was obtained.The morphological characteristics,physiological aspects,and DNA polymorphisms between wild-type and flower color mutants were analyzed.The colors of petal,peduncle,pistil,and stamen of the mutant displayed significant differences compared to those of the wild-type.Compared to the original plants,the total anthocyanin content in the petals of the mutant significantly decreased,resulting in a light pink petal phenotype.DNA polymorphisms detected by random amplified polymorphic DNA analysis showed that the ratio of different bands between the wild-type and mutant reached up to 13.2%.The present study demonstrates that carbon ion beam irradiation is effective in inducing genomic variations,resulting in flower color geranium mutants within a relatively short period of time.Meanwhile,the developed flower-color mutants may be potentially used in future mutational research studies involving ornamental plants. 相似文献

This paper aims at presenting a comparative analysis of different metaheuristic algorithms in the application of energy management for fuel cell-based hybrid emergency power unit within electrical aircraft. Two energy management conventional strategies are employed while optimizing the operating temperature. Both the external energy maximization and the equivalent consumption minimization strategies are dealt with. The most efficient up-to-date metaheuristic techniques such as the artificial bee colony, the grey wolf optimization, the cuckoo search, the mine blast algorithm, the whale optimization algorithm, the moth swarm algorithm, the harmony search, the modified flower pollination algorithm and the electromagnetic field optimization are considered. The overall index of optimization performance is considered as a function of hydrogen consumption, overall system efficiency, variations of states of charge and stresses in different energy sources. The numerical simulations, through Matlab™/Simulink, highlights the capability of the different metaheuristic optimization techniques towards reducing the amount of consumed hydrogen in fuel cell-based emergency power unit in electrical aircrafts.
