Ni interlayers were introduced prior to dissimilar friction welding of Ti6Al4V base material to three cemented carbide substrates. The fracture strength of Ti6Al4V/(WC-6 wt% Co) welds were poor and were markedly improved when 20-µm thick Ni interlayers were introduced prior to dissimilar friction welding. These results were only produced when the (WC-6 wt% Co) cermet was electroplated prior to friction welding. When the Ti6Al4V alloy was electroplated prior to friction welding, fractured WC particles and cracking were observed in the (WC-Co) carbide substrate. The fracture strengths of Ti6Al4V/(WC-11 wt% Co) and Ti6Al4V/(WC-24 wt% Co) welds were not improved when 20-µm thick Ni interlayers were introduced prior to friction welding. During mechanical testing, the Ni layer retained at the dissimilar joint interface created a region of weakness.  相似文献

Shallow turbulent flows were produced in a tank of small thickness to study the friction effects on large-scale turbulent motion of small depth. The tank was constructed of two parallel walls. The space between the parallel walls (4.4, 1.57, and 0.59 cm) was small compared with the height (107 cm) and the width (212 cm) of the tank, and was varied during the experiments for different friction effects. Turbulent flows were produced by the injection of water in the form of starting jets into the tank filled with water. The large-scale turbulent flow in the small space between the walls of the tank is confined to essentially two-dimensional motion, and the motion is retarded by the force of friction. Dye was injected with the source fluid as the tracer for the highly unsteady and quasitwo-dimensional turbulent motion. From the initiation of the turbulent motion at the source to the final interaction of the jets with the tank bottom, the entire sequence of events was recorded by a pair of video cameras. The depth-averaged concentration of the dye was analyzed using the recorded video images.  相似文献

针对套管接头抗压缩强度问题,使用全尺寸实物试验的方法对几种不同钢级、不同螺纹形式的套管接头的抗压缩强度进行了对比试验,并借助材料力学和有限元方法对试验结果进行了分析。实物试验中出现了管体失稳和接箍跳扣两种套管接头压缩失效形式。试验结果和分析结果表明,N80、P110钢级材料的压缩屈服强度高于拉伸屈服强度;偏梯形螺纹套管接头的压缩屈服强度比同钢级、同壁厚特殊扣螺纹套管接头低6.7%~7.7%;上扣是否到位,直接影响套管接头部分的抗压缩能力,上扣不到位的特殊螺纹套管接头的抗压缩性能甚至低于偏梯形螺纹接头。同时指出,为了保证上扣质量,不应使用浮动上扣方法,管柱设计中应进行抗压缩强度设计。  相似文献

This paper presents a highly stable steady-state torque control system with a feedback of a secondary current signal. The torque control system is constructed with a feedback of the secondary current (I2) signal using a quick response magnetic-field sensor constructed with an amorphous core multivibrator bridge, which can solve the secondary resistance change problem for temperature variation in the IM. Moreover, we added a state feedback to the system to improve the response speed for the unit step function of a torque order. The I2 sensor method has advantages especially at a low-speed range, in which conventional method using an integrator shows control errors.  相似文献

The effect of Zr on reduction of hardness and microstructure in an FS weld of equal channel angular-pressed Al alloy was investigated. A new technique, namely, the open-die backward extrusion test technique, was developed as an alternative method to the ring compression test in order to quantitatively evaluate the coefficient of friction, μ, at the die/workpiece interface. This technique relates the percentage deformation in height of the specimen to the percentage increase in extruded height of the specimen. In this study, the open-die backward extrusion tests (ODBET) were simulated for different aspect ratios, (H/D), and different die geometries, (d/D), by utilizing an elastic-plastic finite element code (ANSYS) in order to obtain the friction calibration curves (FCCs). The results indicated that the extruded height is related to the friction conditions at the die/workpiece interface. Therefore, ODBET can be used to generate FCCs to determine the coefficient of friction at the die/workpiece interface in large deformation processes.  相似文献

MoSx coatings were prepared by bipolar-pulse DC unbalanced magnetron-sputtering system with the variation of coating thickness at different Ar pressures.The composition and surface morphology were determined by using energy dispersive X-ray and scanning electron microscopy;the structural characterization was analyzed by X-ray diffraction.The friction and wear properties were investigated by fretting tests in air with less than 10% and 50% relative humidity.At 0.40 Pa pressure,(002) basal plane orientation was formed throughout the coatings.At 0.88 Pa and 1.60 Pa pressures,(002) basal plane orientation was only noticed in the first stage of coating growth(around 0.20 μm in thickness), and then edge orientations with their basal planes perpendicular to the surface would be evolved in the coatings.Humidity has a minor influence on the coatings that have(002) basal plane orientation,whereas the tribological properties of MoSx coatings with edge orientations are greatly affected by humidity.The mechanisms of coating growth and friction and wear processes are discussed.  相似文献
