Specimen preparation and image processing and analysis techniques for automated quantification of concrete microcracks and voids

Specimen preparation and image processing/analysis techniques were developed for use in automated quantitative microstructural investigation of concrete, focusing on concrete microcracks and voids. Different specimen preparation techniques were developed for use in fluorescent and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) of concrete; then techniques produce a sharp contrast between microcracks/voids and the body of concrete. The image processing/analysis techniques developed specifically for use with concrete address the following usages: automatic threshold; development of intersecting microcracks/voids and connected voids; distinction of microcracks form voids based on geometric attributes; and noise filtration.

工业界对图象智能检测技术有着迫切的需要。本文通过对火腿肠产品在线感官质量检测关键性技术的深入研究，证实了该项技术住火腿肠类产品在线感官检测中应用的可行性，文中重点讨论了产品图象智能判别系统的硬软件结构、图象检测判别万法、检测实验数据及实验结果分析。     

Near-wall porosity characteristics of fixed beds packed with wood chips

Packed beds of fuel wood chips are commonly found in thermal conversion processes such as combustion or gasification. Wood chips in particular are mostly used as fuel for small-scale domestic heating boilers but also for commercial-scale combustion units. The characterization of spatial voidage distribution inside the wood chip beds is of great importance for flow and reactor modelling. This study focuses on the radial porosity variations of cylindrical beds of three different types of commercially available wood chips including chips classified as G30 size class. The conventional technique of consolidating packed beds with a resin was chosen as the experimental procedure. The radial voidage distribution in different cylindrical beds is determined by image analysis of sections of the solidified packings. Additionally, a packing of monosized spheres was investigated in order to assess the selected procedure in comparison with widely available literature data for spheres. The results are discussed and summarized in a mathematical expression correlating the radial voidage distribution depending on average wood chip size, packing core porosity and dimensionless distance from the tube wall.

我国的西气东输工程从新疆塔里木油田到上海，管线长度达4000公里，为确保对长江三角洲地区安全稳定的供气，就必须在长江三角洲地区建设地下储气库，从而保证在管线故障期间应急供气，同时利用地下储气库调节冬季和夏季用气量的差异，保证长输管线的高效、平稳运行。在长江三角洲地区经地库址选择，目前准备将常州盆地的金坛盐矿用以建设地下储气库。盐穴地下储气库主要选择在盐层或盐兵上，利用水溶方式形成地下溶腔进行储气，选择合适的建库地址要结合地质、水、工程等诸多因素，造腔过程中需要采取一系列控制技术，在造腔过程中还要及时采取声纳测井技术进行跟踪监测，造腔过程的检测及腔体完成后的密封安全性检测是气库能否投入运行的关键。     

像全息的水下应用

基于开发海洋事业的需要，对如何拍摄好水中物体的全息图进行了详细的理论分析，并利用像全息的方法成功拍摄到了一系列富有工艺美感的水下物体的全息图。针对拍摄的全息图进行了细致的定性、定量分析，最后对仪器开发和应用前景作了初步的探讨。     

二维卡尔曼─中值混合自适应滤波

本文提出了能同时抑制加性噪声，脉冲噪声干扰和点扩展函数模糊，又能保护图象边缘及细节信息的新型滤波方法—“二维Kalman－Median混合自适应滤波”，并成功地应用于统计图象恢复，取得了满意的效果。     

建筑群体综合控爆技术

本项工程采用铵梯炸药、水胶炸药、毫秒延期电雷管等爆破器材，运用微差起爆，定向折叠，水压爆破等控制爆破技术，成功地拆除了总面积达３８００ｍ２的建筑群，达到了爆破噪声低，震动小，碎片坍塌范围小，尘土飞扬少等原设计目标。

Efficient Reflectance and Visibility Approximations for Environment Map Rendering

We present a technique for approximating isotropic BRDFs and precomputed self-occlusion that enables accurate and efficient prefiltered environment map rendering. Our approach uses a nonlinear approximation of the BRDF as a weighted sum of isotropic Gaussian functions. Our representation requires a minimal amount of storage, can accurately represent BRDFs of arbitrary sharpness, and is above all, efficient to render. We precompute visibility due to self-occlusion and store a low-frequency approximation suitable for glossy reflections. We demonstrate our method by fitting our representation to measured BRDF data, yielding high visual quality at real-time frame rates.
