不等波纹函数低通原型的理论及应用

本文提出不等波纹函数低通原型，并对其理论进行初步探讨。切比雪夫函数及最平坦型巴特活兹函数皆为其特例。文中给出不等波纹函数的几个性质，最后给出两个应用实例，消除耦合环自感部分的影响；抑制高次模的微带圆盘腔带通滤波器。     

COATES GRAPH APPROACH FOR GENERATING SYMBOLIC NETWORK FUNCTION

In this paper, symbolic code matrix ,constant matrix and count matrix are defined .The first twomatrices are used to describe the elemental expression of augmented matrix and the nede admittance equa-tion is thus obtained. The third matrix is used to obtain the incoming degree matrix, and according to thematrix all the 1- factors of the Coates graph are given. By using the data code, the determinant is expandedand the same items in the expansion are merged. Thus the symbolic network function in which no term can-cellation occurs is generated.     

Specification methods for material-handling control algorithms in flexible manufacturing systems

Good methods are needed to specify, test, and debug material-handling control logic. This article surveys a number of representative methods for defining and describing control algorithms for programmable material-handling equipment used in flexible manufacturing systems. The methods are evaluated with regard to their suitability for communication between people and as bases for interfaces to automatic program generators. It is concluded that no single method is entirely satisfactory. Three methods (position diagrams, function block diagrams, and operation networks) have potential to be combined into an effective hybrid approach that minimizes the need for the user to switch between various conceptual models.

Analysis of an algorithm for solution of conditional optimization problems with linear-fractional objective functions over permutations

A method is considered to solve a conditional optimization problem with a linear-fractional objective function over permutations. The performance of sub algorithms to solve this problem is evaluated. Measuring consistency in TTL-based caches

We propose a general modeling framework to evaluate the performance of cache consistency algorithms. In addition to the usual hit rate, we introduce the hit^* rate as a consistency measure, which captures the fraction of non-stale downloads from the cache. We apply these ideas to the analysis of the fixed TTL consistency algorithm in the presence of network delays. The hit and hit^* rates are evaluated when requests and updates are modeled by renewal processes. Classical results on the renewal function lead to various bounds.     

Assessing continuous bivariate effects among different groups through nonparametric regression models: An application to breast cancer detection

In many applications, the joint effect of two continuous covariates on the target binary response may vary across groups defined by levels of a given factor. A testing procedure that would enable this type of surface-by-factor interactions to be detected has been designed. To accomplish this goal, a logistic generalized additive model (GAM) with bivariate continuous interactions varying across groups defined by levels of a factor is considered. A local scoring algorithm based on local linear kernel smoothers was implemented to estimate the proposed logistic GAM. Bootstrap resampling techniques were used for the purpose of testing for factor-by-surface interactions. Given the high computational cost involved, binning techniques were used to speed up computation in the estimation and testing processes. The adequacy of the bootstrap-based test was assessed by means of a simulation study. If a factor-by-surface interaction is detected in the model, it is then established that the use of the odds-ratio curves is very useful in obtaining a direct interpretation of the fitted model. The benefits of using this methodology when analyzing real data are illustrated by applying the technique to the outputs produced by a computerized system dedicated to the early detection of breast cancer.     

一种新的变步长ICA自适应算法

结合互信息极小的优化判据，基于估计函数期望平方准则、外点法和最速下降法的思想，本文导出了一种新的变步长独立分量分析(ICA)自适应算法。该算法克服了固定步长在分离矩阵推导过程中出现的稳态失调问题，比基于模拟退火步长的ICA算法有更快的仞始收敛速度和较高的分离精度。同时，该算法还具有较好的时变系统跟踪能力。理论分析和仿真计算结果证实了其可以有效地提高ICA的自适虚性，更准确地完成盲信号分离。     

Application of piece‐wise linear weight functions for 2D 8‐node quadrilateral element in contact problems

The present study is a continuation of our previous work with the aim to reduce problems caused by standard higher order elements in contact problems. The difficulties can be attributed to the inherent property of the Galerkin method which gives uneven distributions of nodal forces resulting in oscillating contact pressures. The proposed remedy is use of piece‐wise linear weight functions. The methods to establish stiffness and/or mass matrix for 8‐node quadrilateral element in 2D are presented, i.e. the condensing and direct procedures. The energy and nodal displacement error norms are also checked to establish the convergence ratio. Interpretation of calculated contact pressures is discussed. Two new 2D 8‐node quadrilateral elements, QUAD8C and QUAD8D, are derived and tested in many examples, which show their good performance in contact problems.
