机器视觉在水稻空壳率统计中的应用研究

针对水稻空壳率的自动化检测问题,采用机器视觉技术,设计一种实验设备,利用稻谷的透光性,使用普通可见光照射,对获得的图像进行分析处理,并比较采用灰度特征以及YUV颜色模型两种方法进行统计的结果,表明该设备和相关图像处理算法完全可以胜任空壳率的自动统计工作,为后续发展实际的应用设备奠定基础。

随着高速公路路网建设的不断加快,车辆的逐年迅猛增长,原有零散的信息化技术辅助支持已远远满足不了对应急事件处置的需求,建设全方位及时有效的应急联动系统成为高速公路信息化建设重点.文中根据对高速公路基础业务数据和GIS数据的整合与共享进行分析研究,充分运用WehGIS技术、手机定位技术、无线视频监控技术等各种先进信息技术,在J2EE平台上利用MVC开发模式,采用B/S结构,并结合ArcGIS地理信息系统平台,探讨高速公路应急联动系统的设计及其具体实现.     

A closed-loop cross-correlation method for detecting model mismatch in MIMO model-based controllers

Correlation between a dithering signal and the prediction error has been used for detecting model mismatch in univariate model based control systems. This paper extends that approach to MIMO control systems. A closed-loop cross-correlation method is presented to detect which specific input-output pairings of a model-based controller are mismatched. This method may be used in screening the complete set of models and in selecting candidate models for re-identification. The method first finds the rows and columns of the transfer function matrix that contain mismatch, and then the candidates are found by the intersection of the said rows and columns. Placing the system under partial control, whereby one or more of the manipulated variables are held constant, can be used to further reduce the set of candidate models.

Tuning of multi-loop PI controllers based on gain and phase margin specifications

In this paper, a single-iteration strategy is proposed for the design of a multi-loop PI controller to achieve the desired gain and phase margins for two-input and two-output (TITO) processes. To handle loop interactions, a TITO system is converted into two equivalent single loops with uncertainties drawn from interactions. The maximum uncertainty is estimated for the initial controller design in one loop and single-input and single-output (SISO) controller design is applied. This controller is substituted to other equivalent loop for design, and finally, the first loop controller is refined on knowledge of other loop controller. For SISO controller tuning, a new method is presented to determine the achievable gain and phase margins as well as the relevant controller parameters. Examples are given for illustration and comparison.     

Efficient model checking for LTL with partial order snapshots

Certain behavioral properties of distributed systems are difficult to express in interleaving semantics, whereas they are naturally expressed in terms of partial orders of events or, equivalently, Mazurkiewicz traces. Two examples of such properties are serializability of a database and global snapshots of concurrent systems. Recently, a modest extension for LTL by an operator that expresses snapshots, has been proposed. It combines the ease of linear (interleaving) specification with this useful partial order concept. The new construct allows one to assert that a global snapshot appeared in the past, perhaps not in the observed execution sequence, but possibly in an equivalent one.     

Modeling wine preferences by data mining from physicochemical properties

We propose a data mining approach to predict human wine taste preferences that is based on easily available analytical tests at the certification step. A large dataset (when compared to other studies in this domain) is considered, with white and red vinho verde samples (from Portugal). Three regression techniques were applied, under a computationally efficient procedure that performs simultaneous variable and model selection. The support vector machine achieved promising results, outperforming the multiple regression and neural network methods. Such model is useful to support the oenologist wine tasting evaluations and improve wine production. Furthermore, similar techniques can help in target marketing by modeling consumer tastes from niche markets.     

Word level bitwidth reduction for unbounded hardware model checking

In this paper we present a word-level model checking method that attempts to speed up safety property checking of industrial netlists. Our aim is to construct an algorithm that allows us to check both bounded and unbounded properties using standard bit-level model checking methods as back-end decision procedures, while incurring minimum runtime penalties for designs that are unsuited to our analysis. We do this by combining modifications of several previously known techniques into a static abstraction algorithm which is guaranteed to produce bit-level netlists that are as small or smaller than the original bitblasted designs. We evaluate our algorithm on several challenging hardware components.
