Adhesive element modelling and weighted static shape control of composite plates with piezoelectric actuator patches

A novel finite element model is presented for static and dynamic analysis of composite plates integrated with a laminated piezoelectric layer, a host laminated composite plate and an adhesive layer between them. A new adhesive element is developed which includes both peel and shear effects in the adhesive layer based on first‐order shear deformation plate theory. The thin adhesive layer between the piezoelectric layer and the host plate is modelled by assuming that it carries constant shear and peel strains throughout its thickness. In addition, a weighted static shape control scheme for finding the optimal voltage distribution for static shape control is given. By selecting different weighting matrices, a variety of items such as displacements, slopes, curvatures, strains and even generalized forces, can be included in finding the optimal actuating voltage for static shape control. The present model is validated by comparing with those results available in the literature. The numerical results show that the weighted linear least method can give a satisfactory voltage distribution to best match the desired shape. Copyright © 2004 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

一种环氧树脂阻尼灌封胶的热氧加速老化研究

研究了某种环氧树脂阻尼灌封胶在热氧老化的作用下分子结构、硬度、断面形貌以及动态力学性能随时间的变化．傅立叶红外光谱图表明，所制备的样品环氧基团反应比较完全，热氧老化后试样表面由仲胺和环氧基团形成的酯键发生了部分断裂和氧化；邵氏硬度的增加、瓦向高温区移动则表明在老化过程中复杂的固化反应仍然继续进行；最大损耗因子（tanδmax）波动较小表明试样老化后分子结构几乎保持不变；SEM图片显示试样的冲击断裂由老化前的韧性转变为老化后的脆性断裂．

服装粘合衬布的生产需要低密度聚乙烯热熔胶的微细粉末,介绍了对该热熔胶的化学粉碎技术所进行的实验研究,表明采用适当的助剂种类和用量以及适宜的工艺过程,通过化学粉碎可以得到合格的粉末产品。     

Finite-element analysis and experimental study on tensile fatigue behaviour of bitumen–stone adhesion

Tensile fatigue behaviours of bitumen–stone adhesion were investigated using a dynamic mechanics analyser under stress‐controlled mode at two temperatures of 5 and 25°C and various controlled‐stress levels. Failure characteristics including interfacial failure and cohesive failure were examined using image analysis of fracture surfaces. Finite‐element analysis on stress distributions was conducted under different temperatures, film thickness and interfacial bonding conditions. A Coulomb–Mohr like criterion in combination with shear and normal stresses is proposed to deal with the extreme thin adhesive layer, which can be further simplified into an adhesive zone without significant loss of accuracy for stress analysis.     

Social phobia and difficulties in occupational adjustment.

This study examined whether social phobics differed from nonanxious controls in occupational adjustment. Results indicated that generalized and nongeneralized social phobics, in contrast to controls, were underemployed and believed that their supervisor would rate them as less dependable. Nongeneralized social phobics and controls believed their supervisor would rate them higher in work role conformance and likelihood of advancement than did generalized social phobics. Generalized socially phobic women, in contrast to nongeneralized and control group women, were more likely to be employed in noninterpersonally oriented jobs. Generalized social phobics were more anxious than controls when starting their current job but did not differ in job satisfaction. Beyond Boundary Objects: Collaborative Reuse in Aircraft Technical Support

Boundary objects are a critical, but understudied, theoretical construct in CSCW. Through a field study of aircraft technical support, we examined the role of boundary objects in the practical achievement of safety by service engineers. Their resolution of repair requests was preserved in the organization’s memory via three compound boundary objects. These crystallizations did not manifest a static interpretation, but instead were continually reinterpreted in light of meta-negotiations. This suggests design implications for organizational memory systems which can more fluidly represent the meta-negotiations surrounding boundary objects.

本文综述了智能工程和控制技术的发展历程和基本问题。文中着重论述了人工智能在过程控制系统中的必要性及开发实时智能控制系统的步骤；对符号推理系统、耦合推理系统、人工神经网络和集成分布式智能系统的特点和局限进行了比较。最后讨论了计算机集成过程系统（ＣＩＰＳ）的基本问题、基础技术和发展前景。
