Sulfated zirconia catalysts: Are Brønsted acid sites the source of the activity?

The thermal decomposition products of pyridinium sulfate differ from those of pyridinium sulfate supported on zirconia which in turn differs from that of pyridine adsorbed on a sulfated zirconia. Unsupported pyridinium sulfate decomposes to produce pyridine and sulfuric acid, and these subsequently react to produce oxides of carbon and sulfur. Zirconia that is sulfated and then exposed to pyridine does not release detectable amount of pyridine during heating in an inert gas; rather the pyridine undergoes oxidation reduction reactions simultaneously to release CO₂ and sulfur compounds. Pyridinium sulfate supported on zirconia decomposes upon heating to release pyridine and sulfuric acid, which reacts with the zirconia. The desorption of pyridine in one case and only CO₂/SO_x in the other case suggests that sulfated zirconia does not contain Brønsted acidity that can form pyridinium sulfate.

~（131）Ⅰ—MIBG比活度对鼠心肌交感神经囊泡内外摄取的影响

研究了两种比活度的１３１Ⅰ－ＭＩＢＧ在正常及利血平抑制后在鼠体内的分布，结果表明：注射后４ｈ，正常鼠心肌对３．２２ＴＢｑ／ｇ的ＭＩＢＧ摄取为９．０８％ＩＤ／ｇ，明显高于对１８．５ＧＢｑ／ｇ的摄取（４．８７％ＩＤ／ｇ）。计算表明，比活度主要影响了鼠心肌交感神经囊泡内摄取，而与囊泡外摄取无关．当ＭＩＢＧ用于心肌显像时，高比活度的ＭＩＢＧ有利于诊断。     

Efficient simulation of hierarchical stochastic activity network models

Stochastic extensions to Petri nets have gained widespread acceptance as a method for describing the dynamic behavior of discrete-event systems. Both simulation and analytic methods have been proposed to solve such models. This paper describes a set of efficient procedures for simulating models that are represented as stochastic activity networks (SANs, a variant of stochastic Petri nets) and composed SAN-based reward models (SBRMs). Composed SBRMs are a hierarchical representation for SANs, in which individual SAN models can be replicated and joined together with other models, in an iterative fashion. The procedures exploit the hierarchical structure and symmetries introduced by the replicate operation in a composed SBRM to reduce the cost of future event list management. The procedures have been implemented as part of a larger performance-dependability modeling package known asUltraSAN, and have been applied to real, large-scale applications. Application of annexation principle of thermodynamic property of In-Pb-Sb and In-Bi-Pb melts

Based on the principle of annexation and phase diagrams, the structural units of In-Pb-Sb and In-Bi-Pb melts were determined, and their calculating models of mass action concentrations were formulated. Calculated results agree well with practical values, which in turn show that the models deduced can reflect the structural realities of corresponding melts and the principle of annexation is applicable not only to some binary metallic melts, but also to ternary metallic melts.

对石脑油加氢处理产品硫、氮含量严重超标现象进行了研究 ,重点探讨了原料性质对催化剂活性的影响。研究表明 :直馏石脑油中高硫、氮含量蜡质混合物组分会引起NHT催化剂中毒 ,造成催化剂失活 ,此时通过提高反应温度和压力及降低空速对硫、氮的脱除效果影响不大 ,只有限制这种高硫、氮含量蜡质混合物进入装置 ,才能保证装置产品质量合格     

Neuroticism and depressive symptoms among spouse caregivers: Do health behaviors mediate this relationship?

This study examined the mediating role of health behaviors in the relationship between neuroticism and depressive symptoms among spouse caregivers. Path analysis was used to test a model of the caregiver stress process among 233 caregivers of people with dementia. Results indicate that neuroticism has a significant direct effect on depressive symptoms and also indirectly influences depressive symptoms through health behaviors and perceived stress. When individual health behaviors were examined in the path model, only physical activity served a significant mediating role. These findings suggest that neuroticism may lead to depressive symptoms among caregivers partly through declines in physical activity. Physicochemical and Functional Properties of Freeze-Dried and Oven Dried Corn Gluten Meals

The physicochemical and functional properties of convection oven- and freeze-dried gluten meals of two corn varieties were evaluated. The physicochemical properties (water solubility index, water absorption index, Hunter color parameters, and bulk density) and functional properties (water absorption, oil absorption, least gelation concentration, protein solubility, and emulsification properties) of convection-oven and freeze-dried corn gluten meals were compared with each other and soy flour. Freeze-dried corn gluten meals was observed to have lower bulk density (0.244-0.263 kg/m³) and was lighter in color (high L and ΔE) compared to their counterpart convection oven-dried gluten meals. Freeze-dried gluten meals from both corn varieties showed significantly higher oil absorption, water absorption, pH, emulsification, and protein solubility compared to oven-dried corn gluten meals. The gluten meals from both corn varieties had lower water absorption and bulk density but higher oil absorption than soy flour, suggesting the hydrophobic nature of corn proteins. Corn gluten meals formed thin (pourable) emulsions compared to soy flour emulsions, which were thick salad dressing type. Freeze- and convection oven-dried corn gluten meals showed significantly lower protein solubility measured at different pH than soy flour.     

FeBP非晶态合金超细微粒的合成及其对PH3分解的催化作用

用化学还原法合成了FeBP非晶态合金超细微粒，用电感耦合等离子体光谱（ICP）、X射线粉末衍射（XRD）、透射电子显微镜（TEM）和差热分析（DSC）等手段对其进行了物性表征，并用微型催化反应装置考察了其对PH3分解的催化作用，结果表明，非晶态合金FeBP对PH3的分解具有良好的催化作用，能使PH3的分解温度从800℃以上降到500℃左右。490℃时分解率超过90％，540℃时达100％。
