An optical nondestructive strain measurement technique was performed to analyze the mechanical deformation induced by an electrical field within the insulating materials. Poly(ethylene naphthalene 2,6‐dicarboxylate) (PEN) films were then subjected to constant electrical fields right up to their electrical breakdown. The experimental technique made it possible to follow the various stages of the mechanical behavior of PEN in real time. The final breakdown occurred in the observation zone and the related mechanical deformation was captured. A “margarita” structure was observed with a hole at the center. The experimental results indicated that the level of the induced‐mechanical deformations depended on the local environment. We defined two different zones representing the inside and the outside of the damaged area. The induced‐deformations were larger in the damaged zone. It was also observed that deformations increased when the sample had a lower degree of crystallinity. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci, 2008  相似文献

Nanocomposites of photocurable epoxy resin and epoxy‐modified iron oxide magnetic nanoparticles were analyzed by dielectric relaxation spectroscopy to study the local dynamics at temperatures well below the glass‐transition temperature. Two secondary processes were detected, β and γ processes, but the second one was just detected at lower temperatures in the high‐frequency part of the spectra and moved out of the frequency range at higher temperatures. Data were fitted to the Havriliak–Negami and Arrhenius models, and the obtained parameters were analyzed. Relaxation times of the β secondary relaxation did not change with the nanoparticle content, but the relaxation strength increased. The increase could not be explained when we took into account the molecular origin of the relaxation. The presence of ferromagnetic nanoparticles enhanced the internal field and increased the relaxation strengths. Transmission electron microscopy images showed that the nanoparticles were well dispersed in the matrix, without magnetic agglomerates. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci 2008  相似文献

用传统固相法制备ZST(氧化锆-氧化锡-氧化钛)系微波陶瓷,研究了ZST系微波陶瓷的组成对介电性能的影响。通过X-射线衍射(XRD)和HP8714ET网络分析仪对其晶体结构和微波介电性能进行研究,实验结果表明:少量掺Bi2O3的ZST系陶瓷材料可把烧结温度降低至1 260℃,微波介电性能较好;掺入量大于2%(质量分数)时,ZST系微波陶瓷在晶界偏析形成了Bi2Ti2O7新相,微波性能下降。用微波介电性能较好的ZST系陶瓷制成的介质振荡器进行测试,其电性能满足设计要求。  相似文献

Glasses with varying molar ratios of PbO/BaO in the system BaO-PbO-TiO2-B2O3-SiO2 were prepared keeping (BaO + PbO)/TiO2 ratio equal to one. The glasses were ceramized by two-stage heat treatment. X-ray diffraction indicates that PbTiO3 crystallizes in lead-rich glasses while BaTiO3 precipitates in barium-rich compositions. Solid solution (Ba, Pb)TiO3 does not seem to crystallize over the entire range of compositions. Simultaneous presence of PbO and BaO in the initial glass composition reduces the yield of ferroelectric phase. Dielectric properties have been interpreted in terms of microstructural features.  相似文献

Co-SiC core-shell powders were prepared by electroless plating. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) revealed that Co-SiC core-shell powders were of nearly sphere-like shape and were about 0.3 pan. X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) patterns showed that the cobalt powder was hexagonal crystallite. The complex dielectric constant and the complex permeability of Co-SiC core-shell powders-paraffin wax composite were measured by the rectangle wavegnide method. It showed that the dielectric loss was less than 0.1 and the magnetic loss was about 0.2 in 8.2-12.4 GHz for prepared Co-SiC core-shell comoosite oowders.  相似文献

The low dielectric polymer films have drawn great attention to the application as the dielectric insulating materials in high-frequency circuit boards, while the weak adhesion to the copper foils and the poor processability resulted from the fluorinated or rigid structures limited their high-frequency application. In this work, the low dielectric and high adhesive polyimide/fluorinated ethylene propylene (PI/FEP) nanocomposite film for high-frequency flexible circuit board application is developed. It is indicated that the fluorocarbon surfactants can significantly improve the dispersion of FEP in PI substrate, and thus, the PI/FEP nanocomposite film exhibits excellent mechanical properties, including the tensile strength increases to 46.6 MPa and the elongation at the break increases to 13.7%. Importantly, at the high-frequency of 10 GHz, the 60 wt% FEP filled PI nanocomposite film displays an ultralow dielectric loss (0.006) and a reduced dielectric constant (2.69). In addition, the high-frequency flexible circuit board with the PI/FEP film as the dielectric insulating layer has a high peel strength of 0.75 N mm−1, indicating this PI/FEP nanocomposite film can meet the requirements of the high-frequency flexible circuit board application.  相似文献

In order to meet the requirements of polymer dielectric materials for high thermal stability and excellent dielectric properties in the application of high-temperature film capacitors, a series of polyimide (PI) films are fabricated by introducing a self-synthesized aniline trimer (ACAT) with a conjugated structure in this work. Since the conjugated ACAT in the main chains of PI improves the electron polarization and carrier mobility of the PI molecular chains, the dielectric constant of the ACAT-PI films is greatly enhanced (4.4–7.4). Meanwhile, the dissipation factor does not increase apparently (0.002–0.013). The dielectric properties are stable even when the temperature is up to 200 °C, the thermal degradation temperature is as high as 450 °C, and the mechanical properties are also excellent (70–105 MPa). Among all the films, the PI film with 5 mol% ACAT exhibits the maximal energy density of 3.6 J cm−3 under the field of 426 kV mm−1, the high tensile strength (90 MPa) and the excellent thermal stability (Td5 = 515 °C). The work paves the way to prepare high-temperature polymer dielectric film materials with high energy storage density.  相似文献

Quinary system piezoelectric ceramics PSN-PZN-PMS-PZT were prepared by using a two-step method. The effects of CeO2 doping on piezoelectric and dielectric properties of the system were investigated at morphotropic phase boundary (MPB). The results reveal that the relative dielectric constant ε33^T|ε0, the Curie temperature To, the piezoelectric constant d33, the mechanical quality factor Qm, and the electromechanical coupling coefficient Kp are changed with the increase of CeO2 content. On the other hand, the effects of CeO2 doping on the dielectric properties of PSN-PZN-PMS-PZT piezoelectric ceramics at high electric field are consistent with the change at weak electric field. The values of dielectric constant and dielectric loss are enhanced with the increasing of electric field.  相似文献
