无粘结预应力卵形消化池的受力分析及设计

本文采用有限元计算分析软件ANSYS对近年来出现的卵形消化池进行计算分析,着重对卵形消化池在多种荷载下的内力与变形进行分析,并采用二次曲线模拟沿高度均匀变化的壁厚。提出适合卵形消化池结构预应力钢筋等效为均布荷载的计算与配筋方法,取得较好的结果。     

"I know, you know": Epistemic egocentrism in children and adults.

This article reviews the evidence and theory pertaining to a form of perspective-taking failure--a difficulty in setting aside the privileged information that one knows to be unavailable to another party. The authors argue that this bias (epistemic egocentrism, or EE) is a general feature of human cognition and has been tapped by 2 independent and largely uncommunicating research traditions: the theory-of-mind tradition in developmental psychology and, with more sensitive probes, the "heuristics and biases" tradition in the psychology of human judgment. This article sets the stage for facilitating communication between these traditions as well as for the recognition of EE's breadth and potential interdisciplinary significance. The authors propose a life-span account and a tentative taxonomy of EE; and they highlight the interdisciplinary significance of EE by discussing its implications for normative ethics. 集中载荷作用下的套管抗挤能力分析

根据油田套管损坏情况,建立了集中载荷作用下的套管抗挤能力计算模型,利用能量法和曲杆理论,分析研究了承受180°对称分布集中载荷、90°均匀分布集中载荷和120°均匀分布集中载荷下中厚壁套管抗挤能力,得出了理想圆管抗挤强度和套管屈曲临界挤毁压力的计算公式,通过分析比较理论解与有限元解,其最大相对误差不超过1%,得出了套管抵抗局部载荷的能力低于抵抗均布载荷的结论。

应用有限元法对未焊透的椭圆接管结构进行了应力数值分析,并应用压力容器分析设计法,对该结构进行了疲劳分析,得出结构因未焊透缺陷导致疲劳破坏。     

Plane Problem for Layered Composites with Periodic Array of Interfacial Cracks Under Compressive Static Loading

The current paper addresses the problem of 2-D modelling of the onset of failure process in a layered composite with periodic array of interfacial cracks under static compression along layers. The statement of the problem is based on the most accurate approach, the model of piecewise-homogenous medium. The condition of plane strain state is considered. The shear and the extensional buckling modes are examined. The laminae are modelled by transversally isotropic material (a matrix reinforced by continuous parallel fibres). The complex non-classical failure mechanics problem is solved utilizing finite element analysis. It is found that the 0°-plies volume fraction, the crack length and the mutual position of cracks influence the critical strain in the composite.

Failure analysis of hollow glasses The failure analysis is very important to clarify damages of hollow glasses. Damages of glass bottle through over pressure are very often linked with damages to persons. This is the reason why the causal research is from particular importance. Different surface characteristics of glass fragments as well as the fracture pattern give hints to the direction of the crack, the stress just before breakage and the reason of stress. A reconstruction of the bottle is a further helpful instrument for cause studies. The difference of the various characteristics of the surface will be explained. Further on there will be discussed different reasons and mechanism of fracture.

On page 615, Lines 18, 20, 22, of Table 1, the data in the rows that read "Tachycardia in min per hr," "Repetitive PVCs per hr," and "PVCs per hr" are incorrectly reported in the n and % columns. Ventricular arrhythmia exhibits considerable within-subject variability that cannot be attributed to clinical status alone. This investigation examined the extent to which cardiac arrhythmia was associated with psychological and physical factors assessed during the hour preceding arrhythmic or nonarrhythmic activity. Approximately twice hourly, 46 patients randomly completed a diary assessing mood and physical symptoms during 24-hr electrocardiographic monitoring. Greater negative emotion was associated with increased arrhythmia. Additionally, greater negative emotion was significantly associated with increased arrhythmia among participants in a low left ventricular ejection fraction group (LVEF).
