Laminated beams subjected to transverse load

A simple elastic solution has been developed for predicting the shear stress distribution in a laminated beam subjected to a variety of transverse loading conditions. Photoelastic tests on composite models involving a single bonding layer have been used to validate the theory, and also to comment upon the significance of these results in interpreting the interlaminar shear strength and bending modulus of the simplest form of laminated strip.     

Impact of uncertainties on estimations of heat pump cycle performance

Sensitivity analysis is used to show how uncertainties in basic factors, such as heat transfer, pressure drop, compressor efficiency, and thermophysical properties, influence the result of heat pump cycle performance estimations. By comparing the results of this analysis with uncertainty levels of estimations and experimental determinations, it is established to what extent improvements in accuracy are needed. The investigation was carried out for several different applications and, as working fluids, both pure substances and non-azeotropic mixtures were examined. It was found that evaporation heat transfer and compressor efficiency are two areas where improvements are needed. It is also shown that estimates using very accurate, substance-specific, equations of state differ from those using more general types by up to 1 % for COP and 2% for capacity.     

The rank one mixed μ problem and ‘kharitonov-type’ analysis

The general mixed μ problem has been shown to be NP hard, so that the exact solution of the general problem is computationally intractable, except for small problems. In this paper we consider not the general problem, but a particular special case of this problem, the rank one mixed μ problem. We show that for this case the mixed μ problem is equivalent to its upper bound (which is convex), and it can in fact be computed easily (and exactly). This special case is shown to be equivalent to the so-called ‘affine parameter variation’ problem (for a polynomial with perturbed coefficients) which has been examined in detail in the literature, and for which several celebrated ‘Kharitonov-type’ results have been proven.     

石油钻机提升系统穿绳方法研究

目前国内外钻机大绳一般采用顺穿法或花穿法。分析了2种穿绳方法的受力特点,大绳顺穿时游车的受力不平衡,会发生倾斜和摆动;采用大绳花穿方法,避免了游车的倾斜和摆动,但造成大绳入轮槽的倾角大,大绳易脱槽。顺穿法一般在电动钻机上采用,主要考虑到电控操作提升系统比较平稳;花穿法一般在机械钻机上使用,以受力平衡来缓解气控操作带来的冲击载荷的影响。为了克服这2种穿绳方法的不足,提出了两行双联滑轮组顺穿法和双联滑轮组顺穿法,可以提高安全性,减少磨损。     

国内外压力容器标准对射线透照检测要求的对比分析

对欧美压力容器标准与GB 150—1998中对射线透照检测要求进行了对比分析,并结合中国的压力容器标准及行业发展现状,对GB 150—1998标准中相应条款提出了修订建议。

北京市部分学校教室采光照明现状分析

近年来我国学生视力不良检出率居高不下,并且呈现明显上升趋势,已经到了极为严重的程度.学校教室的采光照明问题是保护学生视力健康的重要部分.2004年我国重新修订了国家标准〈建筑照明设计标准〉GB50034-2004.本文对北京市部分大中小学校进行采光照明的调查分析,结果显示,北京市学校教室采光照明问题十分严重,与国家标准要求差距很大,在被调查的39间教室中,窗地面积比达标率为20.5%,课桌面照度达标率为25.6%,黑板照度达标率为零.
