Perceived effectiveness of filial therapy for a Jamaican mother: A qualitative case study.

Although filial therapy has traditionally been viewed as suitable for children of diverse cultures, there is limited research to support this perspective. This qualitative case study examined the perceived effectiveness of filial therapy for a Jamaican mother and the perceived effect on the mother-child relationship. Findings indicate that some aspects of filial therapy are congruent with the parenting practices and values of this Jamaican mother. The mother reported an increase in empathy, a heightened awareness of her child's needs, and a stronger relationship with her child. She expressed some difficulty with limit setting and tracking skills taught as part of the model. Future research directions include further examination of the compatibility of filial therapy with other Jamaican parents and the effectiveness of group filial therapy with Jamaican parents or other parents of Caribbean descent. Electrolytic regeneration of bleach solution in the motion picture industry

Cyclic voltammetric and galvanostatic experiments have been carried out with both synthetic and commercial bleach solutions with a view to regenerating the same. Maximum efficiency could be achieved if the oxidation is carried out below an anodic potential of 0·80 V vs SCE. The data obtained in galvanostatic experiments with RCE confirm the results of the earlier technique.     

Defensive allomones in three species ofHypselodoris (gastropoda: Nudibranchia) from the Cantabrian sea

ThreeHypselodoris species,H. villafranca, H. cantabrica, and H. tricolor, have been studied in order to further investigate the defensive strategies of Chromodorididae mollusks from Iberian coasts. All animals possess large amounts of furanosesquiterpenoids, probably derived from their diet of sponges. The products are transferred and stored in specific sites of the mantle (mantle dermal formations, MDFs) to be used as chemical deterrents against predators. Chemical analysis of CantabrianHypselodoris species has led to the characterization of eight sesquiterpenoids. Among these, six have been found previously in both sponges and nudibranchs, while two are new natural products.Hypselodoris species cooccurring in the same area contained comparable mixtures of sesquiterpenoids. However, two populations ofH. cantabrica from different sites of the Cantabrian sea showed different metabolic patterns. All sesquiterpenoids induce feeding deterrence inCarassius auratus and two are also toxic toGambusia affinis.

人体步行规律与仿人机器人步态规划

从仿生学角度分析了人体的步行运动规律,提出了一种基于人体运动规律的仿人机器人步态参数设定方法.首先对人体步行运动数据进行捕捉并分析,得出人体各步态参数间的函数关系,以人体步行相似性作为评价指标,提出仿人机器人步态参数的设定方法.其次,通过分析人体在步行过程中的补偿支撑脚偏航力矩的基本原理,提出了基于双臂及腰关节协调运动的仿人机器人偏航力矩补偿算法,以提高仿人机器人行走的稳定性.最后通过仿真及实验验证了所提出的步态规划方法的正确性及有效性.

Localized relaxation theory of circuits and its applications in electro-thermal analyses

In the high-performance IC design with increasing design complexity,it is a very important design content to efficiently analyze IC parameters.Thus,the electro-thermal (ET) analyses including power/ground (P/G) analysis and thermal analysis are hot topics in today’s IC research.Since ET analysis equation has a sparse,positive definite and strictly diagonally dominant coefficient-matrix,we prove that the ET analysis has the advantage of locality.Owing to this advantage,localized relaxation method is formally proposed,which has the same accuracy as the global relaxation done with the constraint of the same truncation error limitation.Based on the localized relaxation theory,an efficient and practical localized successive over-relaxation algorithm (LSOR2) is introduced and applied to solve the following three ET analysis problems.(1) Single-node statistical voltage analysis for over-IR-drop nodes in P/G networks;(2) single-node statistical temperature analysis for hot spots in 3D thermal analysis;(3) fast single open-defect analysis for P/G networks.A large amount of experimental data demonstrates that compared with the global successive over-relaxation (SOR) algorithm,LSOR2 can speed up 1-2 orders of magnitudes with the same accuracy in ET analyses.

为了方便快捷生成生动的卡通表情动画,提出将表情数据重定向到卡通形象上的算法.该算法由用户在卡通形象上标记出与表情数据相对应拓扑结构的控制点,以此控制点集合与表情数据首帧控制点集合做比对;使用得到的比例关系将后续表情数据重定向到卡通形象上,从而形成针对卡通形象的表情数据.实验结果表明,运用文中算法可以制作出较为生动形象的卡通表情动画.     

基于几何解析的双雷达地面目标定位算法

传统的双雷达地面目标定位算法因测量数据本身固有的误差和量测噪声,使得基于非线性估计定位算法的定位精度不高。本文研究了一种新的双雷达地面目标定位算法,该算法将已知雷达探测数据以几何方式加以表示,通过几何解析对地面目标进行定位。此外,还详细分析了各种因素在不同情况下对定位精度的影响。所研究的算法具有计算量小、远距离定位精度高等优点。最后,通过仿真验证了该算法能够提高远距离定位的定位精度。
