提出一种在普通多，高层框剪结构中隔层将楼盖悬挂在柱上的新型抗震结构体系，它集悬挂结构，质量制振结构及塑性铰内移内移式框架结构的抗震优越性于一体，只需要对普通框剪结构稍作改进即成。该体系受力传力清楚，施工方便。结构动力分析表明，所提出的体系减震效果优良。如果推广应用，将产生较大的经济及社会效益。     

无筋砖砌体受压构件计算机程序

文章列出了无筋砌体受压构件的承载力、抗裂性验算公式及砌体墙、柱高厚比验算公式，推导出了砖砌体材料性能，墙、柱允许高厚比等的解析计算公式，并用ＢＡＳＩＣ语言编写了相应的计算机程序。该程序可用于矩形截面墙、柱或带壁柱Ｔ形截面墙的承载力、抗裂性及高厚比的验算。该程序还可用于非标准强度等级砖、砂浆砌筑的墙、柱的计算。

Concrete Cracking in Tension Members and Application to Deck Slabs of Bridges

Currently, estimations of the crack width in the deck slab of bridges given by codes of practice are based on either theoretical or empirical approaches considering mainly the monotonic loading behavior. However, cracking in reinforced tensile members is highly influenced by the loading history (including both the loading and unloading processes) because of the irreversible nonlinear behavior of bond and of tensile response of concrete, resulting into residual cracks of non-negligible width. This paper investigates the influence of this phenomenon and presents a physical model describing it. An analytical model is developed and its results are compared to various tests with good agreement. Finally, a simple design formula is derived and recommendations for its application to practical cases are proposed.     

In-group members' perceptions of a social mobility attempt: Effects of boundary permeability and outcome.

This study examined in-group members' impressions of a fellow member who attempted to join a higher power group, along with the interactive effects of the permeability of group boundaries and relative success of this social mobility attempt on impressions. Because groups with less permeable boundaries are typically more cohesive, a group member's relative success in achieving mobility should have meaning for these groups, as opposed to those with more permeable boundaries. Thus, it was predicted that the effect of success versus failure on in-group members' evaluations would be stronger when group boundaries were less permeable. The results showed that a member successful at social mobility was evaluated more positively than one who was unsuccessful, and this difference was larger when boundaries were less permeable. Randomized trial of a gatekeeper program for suicide prevention: 1-year impact on secondary school staff.

Gatekeeper-training programs, designed to increase identification and referral of suicidal individuals, are widespread but largely untested. A group-based randomized trial with 32 schools examined impact of Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) training on a stratified random sample of 249 staff with 1-year average follow-up. To test QPR impact, the authors introduced and contrasted 2 models of gatekeeper-training effects in a population: gatekeeper surveillance and gatekeeper communication. Intent-to-treat analyses showed that training increased self-reported knowledge (effect size [ES] = 0.41), appraisals of efficacy (ES = 1.22), and service access (ES = 1.07). Training effects varied dramatically. Appraisals increased most for staff with lowest baseline appraisals, and suicide identification behaviors increased most for staff already communicating with students about suicide and distress. Consistent with the communication model, increased knowledge and appraisals were not sufficient to increase suicide identification behaviors. Also consistent with the communication model were results from 2,059 8th and 10th graders surveyed showing that fewer students with prior suicide attempts endorsed talking to adults about distress. Skill training for staff serving as "natural gatekeepers" plus interventions that modify students' help-seeking behaviors are recommended to supplement universal gatekeeper training. Family routines and rituals--The importance of family functioning: Comment on the special section.

This diverse collection of papers highlights routines and rituals in family life. Just as individual family members bring unique styles and perspectives to the family table, to be incorporated into a family framework, so do each of these papers present rich and varied research questions, designs, and measurement strategies that enrich our understanding of family routine behavior patterns and ritual meanings. This series adds to our conceptualization of family routines and rituals within a systems perspective highlighting: 1) families are comprised of multiple levels that operate individually; interact with each other; and as a whole, reveal properties distinct from separate parts; 2) families tend toward stability in meaningful patterns of functioning; and 3) family functioning has meaning for individual outcomes. Welcoming them home: Supporting service members and their families in navigating the tasks of reintegration.

To date, more than 1.3 million service members have served in the Global War on Terrorism. These men and women and their families face a range of stressful situations and must navigate many important tasks after a deployment. This article outlines four of the tasks of reintegration: redefining roles, expectations, and division of labor; managing strong emotions; abandoning emotional constriction and creating intimacy in relationships; and creating shared meaning. For each task, potential challenges are discussed and suggestions for how psychologists can support families are described.
