Transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) van der Waals (vdW) 1D heterostructures are recently synthesized from 2D nanosheets, which open up new opportunities for potential applications in electronic and optoelectronic devices. The most recent and promising strategies in regards to forming 1D TMDs nanotubes (NTs) or nanoscrolls (NSs) in this review article as well as their heterostructures that are produced from 2D TMDs are summarized. In order to improve the functionality of ultrathin 1D TMDs that are coaxially combined with boron nitride nanotubes and single-walled carbon nanotubes. 1D heterostructured devices perform better than 2D TMD nanosheets when the two devices are compared. The photovoltaic effect in WS2 or MoS2 NTs without a junction may exceed the Shockley–Queisser limit for the above-band-gap photovoltage generation. Photoelectrochemical hydrogen evolution is accelerated when monolayer WS2 or MoS2 NSs are incorporated into a heterojunction. In addition, the photovoltaic performance of the WSe2/MoS2 NSs junction is superior to that of the performance of MoS2 NSs. The summary of the current research about 1D TMDs can be used in a variety of ways, which assists in the development of new types of nanoscale optoelectronic devices. Finally, it also summarizes the current challenges and prospects.  相似文献

Exploring new-type 2D magnetic materials with high magnetic transition temperature and robust air stability has attracted wide attention for developing innovative spintronic devices. Recently, intercalation of native metal atoms into the van der Waals gaps of 2D layered transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) has been developed to form 2D non-layered magnetic TMDs, while only succeeded in limited systems (e.g., Cr2S3, Cr5Te8). Herein, composition-controllable syntheses of 2D non-layered iron selenide nanosheets (25% Fe-intercalated triclinic Fe5Se8 and 50% Fe-intercalated monoclinic Fe3Se4) are firstly reported, via a robust chemical vapor deposition strategy. Specifically, the 2D Fe5Se8 exhibits intrinsic room-temperature ferromagnetic property, which is explained by the change of electron spin states from layered 1T'-FeSe2 to non-layered Fe-intercalated Fe5Se8 based on density functional theory calculations. In contrast, the ultrathin Fe3Se4 presents novel metallic features comparable with that of metallic TMDs. This work hereby sheds light on the composition-controllable synthesis and fundamental property exploration of 2D self-intercalation induced novel TMDs compounds, by propelling their application explorations in nanoelectronics and spintronics-related fields.  相似文献

工况下运行的异种钢接头易沿焊缝界面开裂而发生早期失效.本文对小直径钢102/Inconel82/TP347H异种钢管、不同坡口角度与不同热处理制度下接头中的焊接残余应力进行了实测,结果表明对适用于现场焊接且可延长接头寿命的改进型坡口并不会增大焊接应力,提出在工况温度下接头中的焊接应力并不能很快衰减、焊后热处理可显著地降低该种异种钢接头中焊接应力的观点.  相似文献

This paper documents part of a research program which has been under way at the CIM Centre at Swinburne University of Technology since 1989. The purpose of the research program was to develop an open-architecture machine tool control system and then to see how that system could be used to change the distribution of traditional manufacturing design, planning and control functions. This paper examines one part of that research program and focuses on a methodology which could prove to be useful in the machine tool selection, cutter selection and cutter path generation phases of process planning for cutting operations on workpieces in computer-controlled machine tools.It is suggested that a configuration space transform be used for each cutter/machine tool combination to find the volume that the combination could remove from the uncut workpiece without removing any of the material that will form the final workpiece. A method of comparing these volumes from different combinations is then outlined. The output of this method is a reasonable sequence of machine tools and cutters. Path planning can then be carried out for each of the chosen combinations using a method similar to the one used to find the possible volume to be removed.Possible implementation techniques, and their limitations on existing computer hardware, are discussed and the most promising of these are identified, based upon some properties of configuration space transforms.  相似文献

To study the influence of steam on the solid state reaction between MeO (Me = Ni, Co, Cu or Fe) and Al2O3, MeO/-Al2O3 and MeO/-Al2O3 model catalysts were kept in either N2/20% O2 or N2/O2/30% H2O at 500–1000°C. The samples were subsequently analyzed with RBS and FTIR. Surprisingly, nickel, cobalt and copper volatilized when MeO/-Al2O3 or MeAl2U4/-Al2O3 samples were annealed in the presence of 0.3 atm steam at 1000°C. Especially copper was found to volatilize very rapidly in the presence of steam, even at a temperature as low as 800°C. FTIR spectra of steam-treated NiO/-Al2O3 samples showed the incorporation of hydroxyl groups in the nickel oxide layer. This observation and an excellent agreement with thermochemical calculations support our conclusion that the volatile species are metal hydroxides. The solid state reaction of MeO with-Al2O3 was found to proceed at a much higher rate in the presence of 0.3 atm steam at 500–800°C, presumably as a result of an enhanced surface mobility of Me and Al ions along the grain boundaries and the surfaces of the internal pores of the-Al2O3 support, when steam is present.  相似文献

Titanium alloy metal matrix composites reinforced with silicon carbide fibre are being evaluated for a range of highly loaded aerospace applications. Although expensive, if used selectively they can have a dramatic effect on performance and weight. The SMC has one of the strongest capabilities in Europe for the development and production of titanium fibre reinforced MMCs. Consisting of the DRA Sigma silicon carbide fibre manufacturing facility, producing fibre on a commercial basis, and the manufacture of titanium alloy MMCs in commercial quantities by the foil fibre route, and at pilot scale using the alternative matrix coated fibre route. In the foil fibre route a filament winding and fugitive binder method is used to produce a range of component shapes with excellent fibre distribution and consistent properties. The matrix coated fibre process is seen to have advantages over the alternative methods and is likely to become an important manufacturing route for titanium MMCs, particularly for exotic high temperature titanium alloys and intermetallics, and for shapes such as rings, tubes and shafts. As no titanium MMCs components have yet reached full production, it is unclear which of these fabrication methods will become commercially viable, if any. But, the choice is likely to be based on cost, availability and product quality.  相似文献

This paper presents an approach to concurrent toolpath planning for multi-material layered manufacturing (MMLM) to improve the fabrication efficiency of relatively complex prototypes. The approach is based on decoupled motion planning for multiple moving objects, in which the toolpaths of a set of tools are independently planned and then coordinated to deposit materials concurrently. Relative tool positions are monitored and potential tool collisions detected at a predefined rate. When a potential collision between a pair of tools is detected, a dynamic priority scheme is applied to assign motion priorities of tools. The traverse speeds of tools along the x-axis are compared, and a higher priority is assigned to the tool at a higher traverse speed. A tool with a higher priority continues to deposit material along its original path, while the one with a lower priority gives way by pausing at a suitable point until the potential collision is eliminated. Moreover, the deposition speeds of tools can be adjusted to suit different material properties and fabrication requirements. The proposed approach has been incorporated in a multi-material virtual prototyping (MMVP) system. Digital fabrication of prototypes shows that it can substantially shorten the fabrication time of relatively complex multi-material objects. The approach can be adapted for process control of MMLM when appropriate hardware becomes available. It is expected to benefit various applications, such as advanced product manufacturing and biomedical fabrication.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a new sufficient condition for absolute stability of Lure system with two additive time-varying delay components. This criterion is expressed as a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which can be readily tested by using standard numerical software. We use this new criterion to stabilize a class of nonlinear time-delay systems. Some numerical examples are given to illustrate the applicability of the results using standard numerical software.  相似文献
