1D correlation filter based class-dependence feature analysis for face recognition

In this paper, a novel one-dimensional correlation filter based class-dependence feature analysis (1D-CFA) method is presented for robust face recognition. Compared with original CFA that works in the two dimensional (2D) image space, 1D-CFA encodes the image data as vectors. In 1D-CFA, a new correlation filter called optimal extra-class origin output tradeoff filter (OEOTF), which is designed in the low-dimensional principal component analysis (PCA) subspace, is proposed for effective feature extraction. Experimental results on benchmark face databases, such as FERET, AR, and FRGC, show that OEOTF based 1D-CFA consistently outperforms other state-of-the-art face recognition methods. This demonstrates the effectiveness and robustness of the novel method.     

浅析中西艺术融合的起源和发展

中、西艺术的交流已有几百年历史,近现代中国美术的变化和发展,都是在西方文化的介入下发生的。中西融合是20世纪初一种普遍性思潮,在此思想背景下,大批画家走上"中西兼能"的道路。早期艺术家对西方各种艺术流派产生的感悟和体验,为后世考察当时文化艺术的西学东渐提供了线索;他们对东西方艺术的融会与创新,对当今在中西文化发展严重失衡的情势下,构建具有中国当代精神的艺术理论和艺术形式具有伟大的现实意义。     

试析中西方绘画形式异同之思想根源

中国人在绘画艺术上走的道路与西方绘画不同,究其思想根源在于中国文化中的艺术精神。一方面是孔孟儒家所显现的"中和之美"的典型;另一方面是由老庄道家所显现出来的彻底的纯艺术精神的性格。中国艺术家在儒道思想的影响下,致力于自身与天道的融合,西方的画家则是在希腊文化和基督教文明人文主义思想的光环中完成自己理想的嬗变。     

Utility of 18 F‐FDG PET/CT scan to diagnose the etiology of fever of unknown origin in patients on dialysis

Introduction: Studies on fever of unknown origin (FUO) in patients of chronic kidney disease and end stage renal disease patients on dialysis were not many. In this study, we used 18 F‐FDG PET/CT scan whole body survey for detection of hidden infection, in patients on dialysis, labelled as FUO. Methods: In this retrospective study, 20 patients of end stage renal disease on dialysis were investigated for the cause of FUO using 18F‐FDG PET/CT scan. All these patients satisfied the definition of FUO as defined by Petersdorf and Beeson. Any focal abnormal site of increased FDG concentration detected by PET/CT, either a solitary or multiple lesions was documented and at least one of the detected abnormal sites of radio tracer concentration was further examined for histopathology. Findings: All patients were on renal replacement therapy. Of these, 18 were on hemodialysis and two were on peritoneal dialysis. 18F‐FDG PET/CT scan showed metabolically active lesions in 15 patients and metabolically quiescent in five patients. After 18F‐FDG PET/CT scan all, but one patient had a change in treatment for fever. Anti‐tuberculous treatment was given in 15 patients, antibiotics in four patients and anti‐malaria treatment in one patient. Discussion: The present study is first study of 18F‐FDG PET/CT scan in patients of end stage renal disease on dialysis with FUO. The study showed that the 18 F FDG PET/CT scan may present an opportunity to attain the diagnosis in end stage renal disease patients on dialysis with FUO.     

面向自治系统间IP前缀劫持的一种无证书安全防范机制

自治系统间的IP前缀劫持是互联网安全的重大威胁.目前基于非对称密码学的前缀劫持防范机制都无可避免地面临复杂的公钥证书存储管理问题或者密钥托管问题,并且在前缀源自治系统在线验证时计算量太大,难以在实际中布署实施.本文提出的这种防范机制,采用公钥自证明签名方案进行前缀源自治系统的验证,无需公钥证书和密钥托管,可从多方面提高防范机制的性能,有望促进IP前缀劫持防范机制的实际布署实施.     

陕西户县社火的体育文化价值探析

户县社火融合民间戏剧、民间音乐、民间舞蹈、民间美术、民间杂技、民间锻造技艺等各门类艺术,是我国优秀的民间民俗体育艺术活动.文中采用文献资料、田野调查等方法,从陕西户县社火的历史渊源入手,探析户县社火的体育文化价值,使该非物质文化遗产得到保护和传承.     

Origin-shifted algorithm for matrix eigenvalues

In this paper an origin-shifted algorithm for matrix eigenvalues based on Frobenius-like form of matrix and the quasi-Routh array for polynomial stability is given. First, using Householder's transformations, a general matrix A is reduced to upper Hessenberg form. Secondly, with scaling strategy, the origin-shifted Hessenberg matrices are reduced to the Frobenius-like forms. Thirdly, using quasi-Routh array, the Frobenius-like matrices are determined whether they are stable. Finally, we get the approximate eigenvalues of A with the largest real-part. All the eigenvalues of A are obtained with matrix deflation. The algorithm is numerically stable. In the algorithm, we describe the errors of eigenvalues using two quantities, shifted-accuracy and satisfactory-threshold. The results of numerical tests compared with QR algorithm show that the origin-shifted algorithm is fiducial and efficient for all the eigenvalues of general matrix or for all the roots of polynomial.     

“生态水文学”学科发展和研究方法概述

生态水文学作为解决现代水问题的新方式,源于解决环境问题的新思考方式——“生态工程”,以“生态水文”为主题的论文、专著、会议成蓬勃发展之势.目前研究方法概述有:①国内外多种相关监测计划的建立以及各种估算方法相结合;②流域对比、传统的宏观和基于集对原理的微观相关分析揭示机理;③多种生态水文模型与遥感技术相结合模拟生态水文过程.未来发展方向主要归纳如下:①亟待生态水文学解释与水分驱动生态系统演化相关的重大问题;②寻找生态恢复的合适尺度,通过模型尽可能描述水量平衡及水文过程;③亟待开展极端事件对气候变化和人类活动的响应研究;④加强古生态学研究,在长时间序列中识别长期生态水文演变.     

西方“后革命”的思想内涵与理论源流

＂后革命＂是西方左翼知识分子对当前社会政治状况提出的批评,是政治文化研究的前沿成果。它的产生和西方知识分子长久以来对社会组织模式的讨论有着密切的关系,同＂冷战＂前后的理论总结、政治实践紧密相关,整体上反映了西方知识界对经典马克思主义理论的修正。
