营养和社会的稳定与发展有着直接或间接的联系,因此,营养有着十分重要的社会意义.但营养的社会意义需要经济、科学技术的发展作为支撑;法律和法规的制定和实施作为保障;而营养教育则是实现营养意义的重要手段和途径.

充分认识文化和先进文化的本质特征,领会“三个代表”重要思想中关于“代表中国先进文化前进方向”的深刻内涵,研讨我国先进文化建设面临的新课题,努力实践“三个代表”,积极发展先进文化。     

Nisin expression production from Lactococcus lactis in milk whey medium

BACKGROUND: Nisin is a commercially available bacteriocin produced by Lactococcus lactis ATCC 11454 and used as a natural agent in the biopreservation of food. In the current investigation, milk whey, a byproduct from dairy industries was used as a fermentation substrate for the production of nisin. Lactococcus lactis ATCC 11454 was developed in a rotary shaker (30 °C/36 h/100 rpm) using two different media with milk whey (i) without filtration, pH 6.8, adjusted with NaOH 2 mol L^?1 and without pH adjustment, both autoclaved at 121 °C for 30 min, and (ii) filtrated (1.20 µm and 0.22 µm membrane filter). These cultures were transferred five times using 5 mL aliquots of broth culture for every new volume of the respective media. RESULTS: The results showed that culture media composed of milk whey without filtration supplied L. lactis its adaptation needs better than filtrated milk whey. Nisin titers, in milk whey without filtration (pH adjusted), was 11120.13 mg L^?1 in the second transfer, and up to 1628‐fold higher than the filtrated milk whey, 6.83 mg.L^?1 obtained in the first^t transfer. CONCLUSIONS: Biological processing of milk byproducts (milk whey) can be considered a profitable alternative, generating high‐value bioproducts and contributing to decreasing river disposals by dairy industries. 中国区域地质调查现代化与加强深部调查

从对区域地质调查的任务出发，总结了过去区域地质调查工作的特点，即基本上是沿用传统方式进行的。提出和论述了21世纪中国区域地质调查应有新发展，以适应战略转变的要求，即除去运输、通讯、记录及数字化成图等之外，更应当面向土地资源、矿产资源、地质灾害以及提高环境质量的需要, 用现代地学理论指导进行多学科的调查和采集、整理资料，实现3维多参数填图和理论概括，是关系现代地质科学发展的、具有深远战略意义的事。几十年的调查工作已证明深部的地质构造情况与地表层的观察结果是不一样的，与依据地表地质构造情况推测的深层情况也很不同。今后应加强深部探测，发展深部探测技术，取得不同深度层次的高分辨率成像图案，使人们对地球的认识提高到一个新的高度，形成新的空间—时间观念，以更有效地解决我国及地球的资源环境问题。     

Effect of temperature on recombinant protein production using the Bm5/Bm5.NPV expression system

A series of experiments have been conducted using a recombinant baculovirus/insect cell expression system (Bm5/Bm5.NPV.CAT) to establish the optimum temperature for both cell growth and virus infection. Bm5 cell growth was found to be limited at temperatures below 22°C and ceased completely at temperatures above 34°C. In the range between 24 and 28°C, final cell densities always reached 96% of the highest achievable viable cell density. The shortest population doubling time was obtained at 28°C. Overall, a consistent increase in metabolism with increasing temperatures was observed. During the infection/viral replication phase, an increase in the temperature from 25 to 31°C resulted in a faster decrease in viable cell density and an earlier production of chloramphenicol acetyltransferase (CAT). Furthermore, protein yield at temperatures above 28°C was significantly reduced. Overall, the best temperature for the infection phase for the Bm5/Bm5.NPV expression system was found to be 25°C when the cells are cultured in serum free media.

明清图书翻译的特征、种类及作用

本文对我国在明末和清代西学东渐过程中的图书翻译进行了梳理和剖析,总结了这一时期西学翻译的历史概况,阐述了东西文化交流中翻译图书的重要作用,以及历史上有识之士对于西学翻译的贡献。     

主要作物水经济价值的地区特征

在阐述水经济价值概念的基础上,利用残值法计算农业水经济价值,并结合小麦生产讨论了方法的适用性并进行敏感性分析。经过对2000~2005年全国十大分区的分析计算,给出了4种主要作物的水经济价值的地区特征,并提出了基于水经济价值的农业地区发展建议。
