In adaptive control the goal is to design a controller to control an uncertain system whose parameters may be changing with time. Typically the controller consists of an identifier (or tuner) which is used to adjust the parameters of a linear time-invariant (LTI) compensator, and under suitable assumptions on the plant model uncertainty it is proven that good asymptotic behaviour is achieved, such as model matching (for minimum phase systems) or stability. However, a typical adaptive controller does not track time-varying parameters very well, and it is often highly nonlinear, which can result in undesirable behaviour, such as large transients or a large control signal. Furthermore, most adaptive controllers provide only asymptotic tracking, with no ability to design for a pre-specified settling time.Here we propose an alternative approach, which yields a linear periodic controller. Rather than estimating the plant or compensator parameters, instead we estimate what the control signal would be if the plant parameters were known. In this paper we argue the utility of this approach and then examine the first order case in detail, including a simulation. We also explore the benefits and limitations of the approach.  相似文献

This paper addresses the control of time-delay systems whose relative degree does not exceed two. An adaptive Smith controller together with an adaptive law similar to the delay-free case is proposed. By using Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals for an appropriate model transformation of the original system, semiglobal stability of the closed-loop system and asymptotic convergence of the output error is established. Strict positive realness together with the low relative degree of the plant is exploited to establish the stability properties. Robustness properties of the adaptive controller are briefly discussed.  相似文献

This paper describes SABUL, an application-level data transfer protocol for data-intensive applications over high bandwidth-delay product networks. SABUL is designed for reliability, high performance, fairness and stability. It uses UDP to transfer data and TCP to return control messages. A rate-based congestion control that tunes the inter-packet transmission time helps achieve both efficiency and fairness. In order to remove the fairness bias between flows with different network delays, SABUL adjusts its sending rate at uniform intervals, instead of at intervals determined by round trip time. This protocol has demonstrated its efficiency and fairness in both experimental and practical applications. SABUL has been implemented as an open source C++ library, which has been successfully used in several Grid computing applications.  相似文献

In the paper, the multi-symplectic formulation of the coupled 1D nonlinear Schrödinger system (CNLS) is considered. For the multi-symplectic formulation, a new six point scheme, which is equivalent to the multi-symplectic Preissman integrator, is derived. We also present numerical experiments, which show that the multi-symplectic scheme has excellent long-time numerical behaviour and energy conservation property.  相似文献

This paper presents a homotopy-based algorithm for the recovery of depth cues in the spatial domain. The algorithm specifically deals with defocus blur and spatial shifts, that is 2D motion, stereo disparities and/or zooming disparities. These cues are estimated from two images of the same scene acquired by a camera evolving in time and/or space. We show that they can be simultaneously computed by resolving a system of equations using a homotopy method. The proposed algorithm is tested using synthetic and real images. The results confirm that the use of a homotopy method leads to a dense and accurate estimation of depth cues. This approach has been integrated into an application for relief estimation from remotely sensed images.  相似文献

Based on the dynamic anti-windup strategy, an alternative control methodology for state constrained systems is presented. The proposed method is an a posteriori approach for state constrained systems, which is differentiated from the usual a priori approach. That is, first a linear controller is designed to show a desirable nominal performance by ignoring state constraints. Then, an additional compensator is introduced to account for state constraints. By minimizing a reasonable performance index, a dynamic compensator is derived explicitly, which is expressed in plant and controller parameters. The proposed method not only provides a graceful performance degradation, but it also guarantees the total stability of the resulting systems. An illustrative example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

当前GIS大都采用了关系数据库作为空间数据的存储媒介,但关系数据库支持的并发控制并不完全适用于空间数据,提出了一个在GIS应用层运用中间件技术实现对二维空间数据并发控制的方法,在封锁粒度方面,采用了面向四叉树封锁,在封锁类型和封锁协议中,扩充了原有的锁,增加了强弱意向锁,使其更加协调各种不同级别的封负的并发控制,在封锁协议中,由于采用了中间件技术,只需利用一级封锁协议。  相似文献
