Performance prediction of a hybrid‐excitation synchronous machine with axially arranged excitation poles and permanent‐magnet poles

This paper presents a method of predicting the steady‐state performance of a new hybrid‐excitation synchronous machine (HESM) theoretically. The field pole of this HESM is axially divided into two parts; one is an excitation part and the other a permanent‐magnet (PM) part. A nonlinear equivalent circuit, which can include the saliency of the rotor and the magnetic saturation due to the iron core, is derived. Based on this equivalent circuit, the steady‐state performance of the HESM is calculated, and the results are confirmed through experiments. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 自复中调速器在高水头高转速机组上的应用

简要介绍了自复中电/机调速器的机械和电气原理，并就使用该调速器的机组在生产运行中容易出现的停机后导叶开度漂移、停机时导叶不能完全关闭和显示开度与实际开度不一致等主要问题，通过修改可编程逻辑控制器（PLC）程序、调节调零杆位置、修改PLC程序参数等方法进行解决，这些方法对同类水电厂处理类似问题有借鉴作用。     

基于自然地理形态的道路测设及其曲线方程的拟合

在山区村镇及风景旅游名胜区的建设中，其道路的曲线测设，往往要基于自然地理形态进行，也就是路径的选择，有时具有不可选择性，且要求与实地具有最大的符合性。因此，其测设的作业方法不同于一般意义的道路测设；其曲线方程的建立，也是极其困难的。本就基于自然地理形态的道路测设工作的曲线类型的选择、曲线的拟合方法、曲线方程的建立及其数据的计算，提出了利用CAD技术进行曲线拟合、曲线方程的建立、曲线计算的实用技术方法。     

KATRIN NEG pumping concept investigation

The Karlsruhe Tritium Neutrino experiment (KATRIN) is going to use a very large electro-static tandem spectrometer to measure the electron spectrum from the tritium beta decay, where several kilometers of non-evaporable getter (NEG) strips (type ST707) are to be used to achieve the UHV requirements. Different geometrical configurations of the NEG strips have been studied by Monte Carlo simulations. It is shown that the resulting pumping speed of the getter pumps will allow to get a pressure below 10⁻¹¹ mbar in the huge vessel with a volume of 1400 m³. By systematic assessment of the statistics of the pumping surfaces, it could be demonstrated that the design is sound.

在每一周期的开始时的速度值V1预设定到传动装置上进行速度预控制，同时，反馈回来的实际值Sj与S1进行比较计算，得出当时偏差值△S，此偏差值△S乘以比例系数Ksp，得到Vk叠加在Vt上，得出传动装置应具有的速度控制信号V，然后V经速度／电压变换和D／A转换向传动系统的速度控制发出控制信号Uα控制执行机构的定位。调节Ksp的值使系统无超调无振荡。

Does anticipation training affect drivers' risk taking?

Skill and risk taking are argued to be independent and to require different remedial programs. However, it is possible to contend that skill-based training could be associated with an increase, a decrease, or no change in risk-taking behavior. In 3 experiments, the authors examined the influence of a skill-based training program (hazard perception) on the risk-taking behavior of car drivers (using video-based driving simulations). Experiment 1 demonstrated a decrease in risk taking for novice drivers. In Experiment 2, the authors examined the possibilities that the skills training might operate through either a nonspecific reduction in risk taking or a specific improvement in hazard perception. Evidence supported the latter. These findings were replicated in a more ecological context in Experiment 3, which compared advanced and nonadvanced police drivers.
