A physical model describing the I(V) characteristics of planar limiting current oxygen sensors based in an ion-conducting electrolyte is presented. The model focuses on the minimization of the electrochemical potential and the diffusion across a porous layer covering the measuring electrode. The proposed model describes three key phenomena in the response of the sensors: the influence of the polarization resistance on the slope of I(V), the linearity between the limiting current and the diffusivity of the porous layer and a low non-zero current at zero polarization. 相似文献

In this paper, the control problem for a class of linear parameter varying (LPV) plant subject to actuator saturation is investigated. For the saturated LPV plant depending on the scheduling parameters in linear fractional transformation (LFT) fashion, a gain-scheduled output feedback controller in the LFT form is designed to guarantee the stability of the closed-loop LPV system and provide optimised disturbance/error attenuation performance. By using the congruent transformation, the synthesis condition is formulated as a convex optimisation problem in terms of a finite number of LMIs for which efficient optimisation techniques are available. The nonlinear inverted pendulum problem is employed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. Moreover, the comparison between our LPV saturated approach with an existing linear saturated method reveals the advantage of the LPV controller when handling nonlinear plants. 相似文献

Very recently, in order to unify the notions of fuzzy metric space and metric-like space, Shukla and Abbas introduced the concept of fuzzy metric-like space and proved some fixed-point results in this setting. In this article, we modify the notion of Cauchy sequence and completeness to generalize their results. Thus, we extend their theorems to a more general framework, which is also appropriate to generalize some recent, well-known results in this line of research. Embedding a number of displacement features into a base surface is common in industrial product design and modeling, where displaced surface regions are blended with the unmodified surface region. The cubic Hermite interpolant is usually adopted for surface blending, in which tangent plane smoothness across the boundary curve is achieved. However, the polynomial degree of the tangent field curve obtained symbolically is considerably higher, and the reduction of the degree of a freeform curve is a non-trivial task. In this work, an approximation surface blending approach is proposed to achieve tangential continuity across the boundary curve. The boundary curve is first offset in the tangent field with the user-specified tolerance, after which it is refined to be compatible with the offset curve for surface blending. Since the boundary curve is offset in a three-dimensional (3D) space, the local self-intersection in the offset curve is addressed in a 2D space by approximately mapping the offset vectors in the respective tangent planes to the parameter space of the base surface. Automated Tape Laying and Fiber Placement of composite materials are the two principal automated processes used for fabrication of large composite structures in aeronautical industry. The aluminum parts produced by High Speed Machining tend to be replaced by carbon fiber composite parts realized with these processes. However, structural parts present reinforcement zones which disturb the tool path follow-up and generate an increase of the manufacturing time. Thus, this paper deals with the optimization of tool paths of a 7-axis machine tool of Fiber Placement with the objective of reducing the manufacturing time while ensuring the requested quality of the final part. In this paper, two complementary methods are detailed. The first method takes advantage of the degree of redundancy of the machine tool to decrease the kinematic loads of the control joints. The second method aims to smooth the orientation of the machine head along the tool path while ensuring quality constraints. Then we establish the relationship between the L′(d,1)-labeling number of a graph G and the (d−1)-group path covering number of Gc. We consider the stochastic input-output properties of a simple non-linear dynamical system, the so-called Page-Hinkley detector, playing a key role in change detection, and also in queuing theory. We show that for L-mixing inputs with negative expectation the output process of this system is L-mixing. The result is applied to get an upper bound for the false alarm rate. The proof is then adapted to get a similar result for the case of random i.i.d. inputs. Possible extensions and open problems are given in the discussion. 相似文献
