This paper focuses on composite nonlinear feedback (CNF) controller design for tracking control problem of strict-feedback nonlinear systems with input saturation to address the improvement of transient performance. First, without considering the input saturation, a stabilisation control law is designed by using standard backstepping technique for the nonlinear system, then a feedforward control law is added to the backstepping-based stabilisation control law to construct a tracking control law. The tracking control law is tuned to drive the output of the closed-loop system to track a command input with quick response. Then, an additional nonlinear feedback law is constructed and combined with the tracking control law to obtain a CNF control law. The role of this additional nonlinear feedback law is to smoothly change the damping ratio of the closed-loop system while the system output approaches the command input, and to reduce overshoot caused by the tracking control law. It is shown that the extra-adding nonlinear feedback part does not cause the loss of stability of the closed-loop system in its attractive basin. 相似文献

For a single machine infinite power system with thyristor controlled series compensation (TCSC) device, which is affected by system model uncertainties, nonlinear time-delays and external unknown disturbances, we present a robust adaptive backstepping control scheme based on the radial basis function neural network (RBFNN). The RBFNN is introduced to approximate the complex nonlinear function involving uncertainties and external unknown disturbances, and meanwhile a new robust term is constructed to further estimate the system residual error, which removes the requirement of knowing the upper bound of the disturbances and uncertainty terms. The stability analysis of the power system is presented based on the Lyapunov function, which can guarantee the uniform ultimate boundedness (UUB) of all parameters and states of the whole closed-loop system. A comparison is made between the RBFNN-based robust adaptive control and the general backstepping control in the simulation part to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme. 相似文献

A novel decentralized PID controller design procedure based on backstepping principles is presented to operate multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) dynamic processes. The first key feature of the design procedure is that a whole MIMO control system is decomposed into multiple control loops, therefore the sub-controllers can be efficiently flexibly designed in parallel prototype. The second key feature is that the decentralized controller has equivalency to those designed by backstepping approach. As a complementary support to the design procedure, the sufficient condition of the whole closed-loop system stability is analyzed via the small gain theorem and it can be proven that the process tracking performance is improved. The simulation results of the Shell benchmark control problem are provided to verify the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed decentralized PID control. 相似文献
