Systematic dark electrical conductivity and Hall mobility measurements have been carried out in the temperature range of 200-350 K on p-type TlGaSe2 crystals. The analysis of the temperature-dependent electrical conductivity and carrier concentration reveals the extrinsic type of conduction with an acceptor impurity level located at 0.33 eV, and donor and acceptor concentrations of 9.0×1015 and 1.3×1016 cm−3, respectively. A hole and electron effective masses of 0.520m0 and 0.325m0, respectively, with a donor to acceptor compensating ratio of 0.69 are also being identified. The Hall mobility is found to be limited by the hole-phonon short-range interactions scattering with a hole-phonon coupling constant of 0.17.  相似文献

Di(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid was used as extractant of bismuth ions from nitrate medium by emulsion liquid membrane, with Triton X-100 as the biodegradable surfactant in n-pentanol bulk membrane. The novelties and innovative points of this work are the application of emulsion liquid membrane for selective and efficient extraction of bismuth ions as wel as the relevant optimization procedures. The extraction of bismuth ions was evaluated by the yield of extraction. The experimental parameters were evaluated and optimized, including the ratio of di(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid mass concentration to Triton X-100 (1.0%:0.5%), nature of diluent (n-pentanol), nature and concentration of stripping solution (sulfuric acid, 0.5 mol·L?1), stirring speed (1800 r·min?1) and equilibrium time of extraction (20 min), initial feed solution of bismuth (350 mg·L?1) and the volume ratio of internal stripping phase to membrane phase (14). The experimental parameters of kinetic extraction reveal that the bismuth ions can be extracted by 100%.  相似文献

Point-contact (PC) spectroscopy measurements of YNi2B2C single crystals in the normal and superconducting (SC) state (T c ≃ 15.4 K) for the main crystallographic directions are reported. The PC study reveals the electron–phonon interaction (EPI) spectral function with dominant phonon maximum around 12 meV and further weak structures (hump or kink) at higher energy at about 50 meV. No “soft” modes below 12 meV are resolved in the normal state. The PC EPI spectra are qualitatively similar for the different directions. Contrary, directional study of the SC gap results in Δ{[100] ≈ 1.5 meV for the a direction and Δ{[001] ≈ 2.3 meV along the c axis; however the critical temperature T c in PC in all cases is near to that in the bulk sample. The value 2Δ[001]/k B T c ≈ 3.6 is close to the BCS value of 3.52, and the temperature dependence Δ[001](T) is BCS-like, while the for small gap Δ[100](T) is below BCS behavior at T > T c /2 similarly as in the two-gap superconductor MgB2. It is supposed that the directional variation Δ can be attributed to a multiband nature of the SC state in YNi2B2C.  相似文献

Solar water disinfection (SODIS) is a simple, effective and inexpensive water treatment procedure suitable for application in developing countries. Microbially contaminated water is filled into transparent polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic bottles and exposed to full sunlight for at least 6 h. Solar radiation and elevated temperature destroy pathogenic germs efficiently. Recently, concerns have been raised insinuating a health risk by chemicals released from the bottle material polyethylene terephthalate (PET). Whereas the safety of PET for food packaging has been assessed in detail, similar investigations for PET bottles used under conditions of the SODIS treatment were lacking until now. In the present study, the transfer of organic substances from PET to water was investigated under SODIS conditions using used colourless transparent beverage bottles of different origin. The bottles were exposed to sunlight for 17 h at a geographical latitude of 47° N. In a general screening of SODIS treated water, only food flavour constituents of previous bottle contents could be identified above a detection limit of 1 μg/L. Quantitative determination of plasticisers di(2-ethylhexyl)adipate (DEHA) and di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) revealed maximum concentrations of 0.046 and 0.71 μg/L, respectively, being in the same range as levels of these plasticisers reported in studies on commercial bottled water. Generally, only minor differences in plasticiser concentrations could be observed in different experimental setups. The most decisive factor was the country of origin of bottles, while the impact of storage conditions (sunlight exposure and temperature) was less distinct. Toxicological risk assessment of maximum concentrations revealed a minimum safety factor of 8.5 and a negligible carcinogenic risk of 2.8 × 10−7 for the more critical DEHP. This data demonstrate that the SODIS procedure is safe with respect to human exposure to DEHA and DEHP.  相似文献

The investigation of the lattice dynamics of (AlxGa1−x)yIn1−yP quaternary semiconductor alloys lattice matched to GaAs has been made by Raman scattering. The Raman spectra exhibit three-mode behavior depending on the composition. A modified random element isodisplacement (MREI) model is generalized to the III-V (AxB1−x)1−yCyD-type quaternary alloys, describing the behavior of the optical phonons. The calculated result of two quaternary mixed crystals, (AlxGa1−x)yIn1−yP and (AlxGa1−x)yIn1−yAs, is in good agreement to the experimental data.  相似文献

Melatonin (N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine, MLT), the main hormone produced by the pineal gland, not only regulates circadian rhythm, but also has antioxidant, anti-ageing and immunomodulatory properties. MLT plays an important role in blood composition, medullary dynamics, platelet genesis, vessel endothelia, and in platelet aggregation, leukocyte formula regulation and hemoglobin synthesis. Its significant atoxic, apoptotic, oncostatic, angiogenetic, differentiating and antiproliferative properties against all solid and liquid tumors have also been documented. Thanks, in fact, to its considerable functional versatility, MLT can exert both direct and indirect anticancer effects in factorial synergy with other differentiating, antiproliferative, immunomodulating and trophic molecules that form part of the anticancer treatment formulated by Luigi Di Bella (Di Bella Method, DBM: somatostatin, retinoids, ascorbic acid, vitamin D3, prolactin inhibitors, chondroitin-sulfate). The interaction between MLT and the DBM molecules counters the multiple processes that characterize the neoplastic phenotype (induction, promotion, progression and/or dissemination, tumoral mutation). All these particular characteristics suggest the use of MLT in oncological diseases.  相似文献
