This article presents the general procedure for uncertainty calculation of net total cooling effect estimation for rating room air conditioners and packaged terminal air conditioners, by means of measurements carried out in a test bench specially designed for this purpose. The uncertainty analysis presented in this work looks for establishing a confidence degree or certainty of experimental results. It is particularly important considering that international standards related to this type of analysis are too ambiguous when treating this subject. The uncertainty analysis is on the other hand an indispensable requirement to international standard ISO 17025 [ISO, 2005. International Standard. 17025. The insecticidal pyrrole chlorfenapyr was applied to concrete, vinyl tile, and plywood surfaces, at an application rate of 1.1 g AI m−2. Adult Tribolium castaneum (Herbst), the red flour beetle, and adult Tribolium confusum (Du Val), the confused flour beetle, were exposed for 2 and 4 h, removed, and held without food for 7 d post-exposure. All beetles survived the initial exposures, but survival of both species decreased during the 7-d holding period, with T. confusum being the more susceptible species. Survival was generally lower on concrete than on tile or plywood, and was greatly reduced on all three surfaces after 4 h of exposure compared to 2 h. Survival of T. castaneum after 2 h of exposure on concrete, tile, and plywood was 2.5±2.5%, 25.5±15.4%, and 40.0±7.1%, respectively, after 7 d. In contrast, all T. confusum exposed on concrete and tile were dead after 4 and 5 d, respectively, while survival on plywood after 7 d was 20.0±16.8%. After 4 h of exposure, all T. castaneum and T. confusum exposed on concrete and tile were dead after 2–4 d post-exposure, while survival on plywood after 7 d was 41.5±6.4% and 0 for each species, respectively. Non-linear and linear regressions were fit to the data for both species. Results show exposure to chlorfenapyr is effective against T. castaneum and T. confusum, but efficacy will vary depending on the surface substrate. 相似文献

目的: 评价利培酮联合抗抑郁药物与抗抑郁药物单一治疗抑郁症的有效性与安全性的差异。方法: 应用循证医学方法对符合标准的10项研究进行分析,评价利培酮联合抗抑郁药物与抗抑郁药物单一治疗抑郁症的疗效、效应大小、痊愈率以及副作用的差异。结果: 同质性检验:(1)有效性:χ2=7.26,df=9(P>0.05);(2)安全性:χ2=3.41,df=2(P>0.05)。综合检验:研究组与对照组在第1、2、4、6、8周末的综合检验分别为Z1=14.19(P<0.01)、Z2=14.00(P<0.01)、Z4=17.40(P<0.01)、Z6=12.10(P<0.01)、Z8=5.94(P<0.01)。效应大小:无论是研究组还是对照组,在第1、2、4、6、8周末与治疗前进行比较的治疗效应大多数达到0.5以上;研究组与对照组干预处理效应的差异效应在不同时段的差异效应都大于0.8。有效性比较:应用固定效应模型或随机效应模型显示研究组所有时段痊愈率、显效率均非常显著高于对照组,而无效率低于对照组(8周末除外)。副作用:两组之间的副作用差异没有显著性(Z=0.20~1.15,P>0.05)。结论: 小剂量利培酮联合抗抑郁药物治疗抑郁症是一种良好的方法,可能特别适宜于难治性抑郁症。 相似文献

The prosperity of the biotherapeutics market reflects the feasibility and effectiveness of therapeutic antibodies for the treatment of cancers, inflammatory disorders, and refractory infections. As drawbacks emerge in clinical trials and practice, such as impeded binding, reduced effector functions, and frequent adverse reactions, modifications of therapeutic antibodies are unprecedently burgeoning in research and development (R&D). These modifications include: ① modified glycosylation; ② fragment of crystallizable domain (Fc) amino acid alterations; ③ cross-isotype or cross-subclass exchanges; ④ antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs); ⑤ single chain of variable region fragment (scFv) for chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cells; and ⑥ bispecific antibodies (bsAbs) in order to promote binding affinity, half-life in circulation, effectiveness toward target cells and, ultimately, to achieve overall improved efficacy. While many achievements have been made around the world in the past decades, China has been playing an active role in this realm, with its great demand for biotherapeutics with R&D potential. The insecticidal effect of the neonicotinoid insecticide thiamethoxam, applied in layers of wheat, was studied in laboratory experiments, for the control of the lesser grain borer, Rhyzopertha dominica (F.) and the rice weevil Sitophilus oryzae (L.). In general, the increase of the size of the treated layer of wheat increased parental morality and decreased progeny production for both species. However, progeny production could not be totally avoided, even when the entire grain quantity was treated. Parental morality was lower for R. dominica than for S. oryzae, but the reverse was observed for progeny production for all treatments. Insect placement drastically affected thiamethoxam efficacy, since morality was generally higher when insects were forced to move downwards from the upper layer, as compared with insects that had been placed in the bottom part of the wheat column. Our study shows that thiamethoxam can reduce insect populations in partially treated wheat, at concentrations that are comparable with other, currently registered grain protectants. 相似文献
