Mixtures of fatty acids and rosin acids are industrially important products utilized as a raw material for several purposes. Their thermal properties, especially cold stability and crystallization behavior is also important. Several fatty acid and rosin acid mixtures both from industrial products and from commercially available fatty and rosin acids were prepared and treated for 30 min at 80 °C under an inert atmosphere. Thereafter, the mixture was cooled to the desired temperature. Determination of the cloud point, chemical analysis of liquid and solid phase, thermal analysis by differential scanning calorimetry as well as morphology analysis by scanning electron microscopy were performed. The results revealed that crystallization was more rapid when it occurred at 10 °C compared to 25 °C. The crystal sizes increased with decreasing the crystallization temperature. Furthermore, crystals were of irregular shape and agglomerated when rapid cooling of the mixture occurred. Chemical analysis revealed that liquid phase was enriched with stearic acid, whereas crystals contained large amounts of abietic, dehydroabietic and linoleic acids. The cloud point of the mixtures increased with increasing amount of stearic and rosin acids. Dehydroabietic acid addition improved the cold stability of the synthetic fatty acid–rosin acids mixture.  相似文献

In the present study we evaluated the uptake of ALA and its conversion to EPA + DHA in rats given linseed oil (LSO) in native form or as a microemulsion in whey protein or in lipoid. In a single oral dose study in which rats maintained on rodent pellets deficient in ω-3 fatty acids were intubated with 0.35 g LSO in lipoid, the amount of ALA present in lymph was increased reaching a maximum concentration of 16.23 mg/ml at 2.5 h. The amount of ALA present in lymph was increased to a maximum level of 10.95 mg/ml at 4 h in rats given LSO as a microemulsion in whey protein. When LSO was given without emulsification, the amount of ALA present in lymph was found to reach a maximum level of 7.08 mg/ml at 6 h. A similar result was observed when weaning rats were intubated with 0.15 g of LSO per day for a period of 60 days. Higher levels of ALA by 41 and 103 % were observed in lymph lipids of rats given microemulsions of LSO in whey protein and in lipoid respectively as compared to rats given LSO without pre-emulsification. Very little conversion of ALA to EPA and DHA was observed in lymph lipids but higher amounts of EPA + DHA was observed in liver and serum of rats given LSO in microemulsion form. This study indicated that ALA concentration in lymph lipids was increased when LSO was given in microemulsion form in lipoid and further conversion to EPA and DHA was facilitated in liver and serum.  相似文献

Camelina oil (CO) replaced 50 and 100 % of fish oil (FO) in diets for farmed rainbow trout (initial weight 44 ± 3 g fish?1). The oilseed is particularly unique due to its high lipid content (40 %) and high amount of 18:3n‐3 (α‐linolenic acid, ALA) (30 %). Replacing 100 % of fish oil with camelina oil did not negatively affect growth of rainbow trout after a 12‐week feeding trial (FO = 168 ± 32 g fish?1; CO = 184 ± 35 g fish?1). Lipid and fatty acid profiles of muscle, viscera and skin were significantly affected by the addition of CO after 12 weeks of feeding. However, final 22:6n‐3 [docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)] and 20:5n‐3 [eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)] amounts (563 mg) in a 75 g fillet (1 serving) were enough to satisfy daily DHA and EPA requirements (250 mg) set by the World Health Organization. Other health benefits include lower SFA and higher MUFA in filets fed CO versus FO. Compound‐specific stable isotope analysis (CSIA) confirmed that the δ13C isotopic signature of DHA in CO fed trout shifted significantly compared to DHA in FO fed trout. The shift in DHA δ13C indicates mixing of a terrestrial isotopic signature compared to the isotopic signature of DHA in fish oil‐fed tissue. These results suggest that ~27 % of DHA was synthesized from the terrestrial and isotopically lighter ALA in the CO diet rather than incorporation of DHA from fish meal in the CO diet. This was the first study to use CSIA in a feeding experiment to demonstrate synthesis of DHA in fish.  相似文献

The reductive benzylation of aromatic and aliphatic aldehydes with benzylic halides is reported using a nickel/zinc catalyst system. In addition to benzylic halides, the first report on the addition of benzylic triflates, acetates, tosylates and tritylates to aldehydes is also presented. By this new method a range of alcohols was synthesized efficiently from aldehydes and benzylic substrates at room temperature in moderate to high yields. The mild reaction conditions and good functional group tolerance make this nickel‐catalyzed process synthetically useful for the synthesis of diverse benzylic alcohols.

Homologue distributions of alcohol ethoxylates obtained with an unconventional calcium-based catalyst and NaOH as the conventional catalyst are studied in the range of average polyaddition degree from 8 to 15. The fractional compositions of those high molecular weight derivatives of dodecanol and other technical alcohols, Lial 125 and Radianol 1724, are determined as peak area percentages from HPLC chromatograms. Some physico-chemical characteristics of the products as well as by-product contents are also presented. It is shown that the differences in fractional contents between the broad and narrow homologue distributed equivalents remain very significant in that range of higher ethoxylation grades. Consequently, the influence of homologue distributions on some properties of the products can be expected in their practical applications.  相似文献

目的 评价以脂肪酸(fatty acid, FAs)指纹建立奶茶粉真实性判别模型的可行性。方法 采集生牛乳喷雾干燥(湿法)和植脂末、乳粉、炼乳粉粉末原料混合制备(干法)奶茶粉138种产品,并采集植脂末、奶油粉和奶粉为参照样品,气相色谱法检测FAs,进行差异性比较,并进行正交偏最小二乘判别分析(orthogonalpartial least squares discriminant analysis, OPLS-DA)和层聚类分析(hierarchical cluster analysis,HCA),观察各种类奶茶粉样品聚类特征,评价模式相似度。构建奶茶粉掺植脂末OPLS-DA和偏最小二乘(partial least square, PLS)预测模型。结果 生牛乳湿法制备的奶茶粉与其他3种干法制备的奶茶粉FAs指纹显著不同,与奶粉有同质性,两者模式相似度为94.9%; 3种干法制备的奶茶粉与植脂末、奶油粉存在同质性,可归入同一个大类,模式相似度为27.2%。OPLS-DA和PLS模型有良好的预测能力,可以区分0%植脂末(奶粉)与添加12.5%植脂末的人工奶茶粉样品。3种市售干法制备奶茶粉...  相似文献

目的 建立食品中典型酰胺醇类抗生素残留的快速检测方法并对该类药物在渝东北地区的残留污染风险进行评估。方法 采用乙腈萃取食品基质中残留的酰胺醇类抗生素, QuEChERS法进行净化,超高效液相色谱-串联质谱法(ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry, UPLC-MS/MS)分析检测;同时应用层次分析法(analytic hierarchy process, AHP)对渝东北地区食品中酰胺醇类药物残留的污染风险进行评估。结果 Qu ECh ERS-UPLC-MS/MS检测技术精确度高,氯霉素、氟苯尼考和甲砜霉素在0.15~50.00μg/kg浓度范围内的线性相关系数均大于0.999,在0.15~50.00μg/kg浓度水平范围内的回收率分别为85.2%~100.9%、76.7%~90.6%、85.3%~96.7%,精密度均小于15%,检出限为0.10μg/kg,定量限为0.15μg/kg。求解AHP模型可知,渝东北地区酰胺醇类药物残留的食品污染风险程度为:氟苯尼考>甲砜霉素>氯霉素。其中,...  相似文献

Three new regulated deficit irrigation (RDI) treatments were applied to “Arbequina” olive orchards during pit hardening. Oil quality was determined by measuring analytical parameters for olive oil grading, antioxidant activity, total phenol content, fatty acid profile, volatile compounds profile, and sensory analysis. Oils from RDI were classified as “extra virgin olive oil” and their quality was improved due to their higher antioxidant potential (ABTS+ [increased ~75%] and DPPH˙ [increased ~25%] assays) and phenols (increased ~53%) than control. Concentration of total volatile compounds decreased (~27%) but RDI olive oils showed a more balanced profile (alcohols, aldehydes, and esters). Monounsaturated fatty acid content increased (~5%) and atherogenic and thrombogenic indexes decreased (~8.5%) in RDI olive oil. Regarding sensory analysis, RDI provided more balanced oils with higher fruit aroma than control. Other benefits of RDI olive oil, when compared with oil from full irrigated orchards are reduced use of water and improved functional and sensory quality.  相似文献

With an increase in awareness about the need for green chemistry, there is a shift in focus towards identifying eco-compatible technologies that can improve product yield and eliminate the use or generation of hazardous compounds. An immediate practical example of such an approach is the development of sustainable methods for alcohol oxidation as alternatives to the current processes that are energy intensive and rely on ecotoxic chemicals. In this regard, heterogeneous photocatalysis has been identified as a robust technique to catalyze reactions under benign conditions, which would otherwise require harsh synthesis routes. With the advent of materials sciences and nanotechnology, there has been a tremendous increase in the scope of applicability of photocatalysis in fine chemicals synthesis. Though an attractive choice, much of the fundamental information pertaining to catalyst activity, selectivity and reaction conditions for optimum conversion are still to be investigated for most of these systems. To this end, this review will encompass recent achievements in the selective photocatalytic oxidation of alcohols by harnessing solar radiation as a viable source of energy. The discussion will be arranged based on common types of photocatalysts reported in literature, namely metal oxides (eg, TiO2 and ZnO, Nb2O5), sulphides (eg, CdS, CuS, and Bi2S3), and carbonaceous photocatalysts (eg, g-C3N4). Several such candidates for photocatalysts will be discussed critically with the aim of providing useful insight into developing selective photocatalysts that can oxidize alcohols via eco-friendly pathways along with high yields.  相似文献
