This work deals with the incorporation of deca‐dodecasil 3 rhombohedral (DD3R) zeolite as an inorganic filler into the Pebax®‐1074‐based polymer matrix to enhance the performance of the pure polymeric membrane in CO2/CH4 separation. The membranes were fabricated with different concentrations of DD3R. Separation performances of the membranes were investigated at various feed pressures and temperatures. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis of the prepared membranes were performed. In the best case, selectivity for CO2/CH4 separation was improved, while the permeability decreased. Membranes with 1 and 5 wt % DD3R were located in the acceptable region beyond the Robeson plot (1991) for CO2/CH4 gas pairs.  相似文献

Water stable mixed-matrix membranes (MMMs) were developed to help control the global warming by capturing and sequestrating carbon dioxide (CO2) from post-combustion flue gas originated from burning of fossil fuels.MMMs of different compositions were prepared by doping glassy polymer Ultrason(R) S 6010 (US) with nanocrystals of zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIF-300) in varying degrees.Solution-casting technique was used to fabricate various MMMs to optimize their CO2 capturing performance from both dry and wet gases.The prepared composite membranes indicated enhanced filler-polymer interfacial adhesion,consistent distribution of nanofiller,and thermally established matrix configuration.CO2 permeability of the membranes was enhanced as demonstrated by gas sorption and permeation experiments performed under both dry and wet conditions.As compared to neat Ultrason(R) membrane,CO2 permeability of the composite membrane doped with 40 wt% ZIF-300 nanocrystals was increased by four times without disturbing CO2/N2 ideal selectivity.In contrast to majority of previously reported membranes,key features of the fabricated MMMs include their structural stability under humid conditions coupled with better and unaffected gas separation performance.  相似文献

Two-dimension (2D) CeO2-SnO2 nanosheets with uniform size and small rhombus nanopores were synthesized by the hydrothermal method. The structure of CeO2-SnO2 nanosheets was confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The gas sensing behaviors of the fabricated sensors were systematically investigated. Under optimum operating temperature (340 °C), the response to 100 ppm ethanol of the CeO2-SnO2 sensor was 44, which was 2 times larger than that of the SnO2 sensor (about 19). The response and recovery time of the CeO2-SnO2 sensor were 25 s and 6 s, while that of the SnO2 sensor were 29 s and 7 s, respectively. The results revealed that porous CeO2-SnO2 nanosheets enhanced the gas sensing properties and shortened the response/recovery time, which were attributed to the porous structure and the effect of the CeO2-doping. In addition, the ethanol sensing mechanism was carefully discussed.  相似文献

Abstract

Analysis of the concentration distribution in a gas centrifuge cascade for separation of multicomponent isotope mixtures is different from that in a cascade for separation of two-component mixtures. This paper presents the governing equations for a multicomponent isotope separation cascade. Numerically predicted separation factors for the gas centrifuge cascade agree well with the experimental data. A theoretical optimal feed position is derived for a short square cascade for a two-component mixture in a close-separation case. The optimal feed position for a gas centrifuge cascade for separation of multicomponent mixture is discussed.  相似文献

Abstract

Palladium acetate vapor was sublimed at a reduced pressure and was evacuated through the porous wall of an α-alumina support tube of 1.8 mm i.d. and 2.4 mm o.d. Due to chemical vapor deposition (CVD), a thin palladium membrane was formed in macropores of the support. The membrane part was about 50 mm in length and was used without any pretreatment. The palladium membrane, prepared at a maximum CVD temperature of 400°C, showed hydrogen permeance and selectivity to nitrogen higher than 10?6 mol·m?2·s?1·Pa?1 and 1000 at 300–500°C, respectively. Even after the permeation temperature was repeatedly varied between 100 and 300°C in a hydrogen atmosphere, the membrane exhibited no hydrogen embrittlement. The amount of palladium deposited in pores of the support tube was 22 g/m2 of the outer surface of the tube. The thickness of the palladium membrane calculated from this value was 4.4 μm.  相似文献

Tracer tests were conducted at the 6,000 pounds of ozone per day Tucson, CAP Water Treatment Plant in Tucson, Arizona. The tests were designed to determine T10 values through the contactors at various operating conditions. The tests were modeled using three techniques. Peclet Number was calculated for each of the runs, which would indicate the hydrodynamic conditions inside the ozone contactor. The results indicated that the increase in water flow rate and the number of cells with gas flow increased Peclet Number. The flow rate of liquid seemed to impact the Peclet Number more than gas flow. The headloss in each cell appeared to be important in controlling the distribution of liquid and gas through the cell. A correlation was developed between the product of gas and liquid phase Reynolds Number and Peclet Number.  相似文献

近年来国内发生了多起站场工艺管道泄漏事件,导致管道站场输送生产中断,泄漏油品甚至溢出站外污染了周边环境。随着站场运行年限的增长,作为连接站场设备的工艺管道的安全状况引起了管理者的重视。借鉴管道完整性管理"风险可控、预防失效、动态管理"的管理思路及方法,建立了站场工艺管道完整性管理流程,明确了管理内容,给出了完整性管理体系文件设置及主要内容。开展站场工艺管道完整性管理,实现基于风险评价和检测评价的维修维护策略,最终提升站场安全运行水平。  相似文献

Choline chloride + phenylacetic acid‐based deep eutectic solvents are studied. Their most relevant experimental physicochemical properties at different mixing ratios together with the CO2 solubility data obtained in wide pressure and temperature ranges are reported. The presented materials exhibit a significant CO2 capture performance with low corrosion effect when compared with the most common amine‐based CO2 capture agents. Detailed rheological measurements are carried out and various models are applied to describe the dynamic flow behavior of the solvents. The CO2 absorption mechanism is evaluated by studying the behavior of the liquid gas and interface. Due to the advantages of low cost, nontoxicity, and favorable physical properties, these solvents are an environmentally promising alternative for effective CO2 capture technological applications.  相似文献
