Simultaneous improvement of surface hardness and glossiness of floor tile glaze, without changing its firing temperature, was the main purpose of the present paper. Thus, various glazes in the system of CaO–MgO–SiO2–Al2O3–ZrO2 were prepared and their crystallization behaviors within a fast firing cycle were investigated. With increasing amounts of calcium and magnesium oxides to base glass, the optimum glass-ceramic glaze was obtained. The results showed that with increasing of CaO and MgO part weights in frit, the crystallization peak temperature was gradually decreased and the intensities of diopside and zirconium silicate were increased. The comparison of micro hardness for the optimum glass ceramic glaze derived in this work with a traditional one used in floor tile industries indicates an improvement of 21%. It was found that the glaze hardness not only depend on the amount and type of crystalline phases, but also on the residual glass composition. Furthermore, it was observed that the glaze micro hardness is only slightly affected by thermal expansion mismatch of body and glaze. 相似文献

The wear behaviour of Stellite 6 was studied during rotational sliding in a bespoke bearing rig at 600 °C for times between 2 min and 12 h. Six stages of wear were identified: (i) formation of a mixed oxide ‘glaze’, (ii) cobalt and chromium elemental diffusion to the ‘glaze’ surface forming chromium- and cobalt-dominated oxide layers, (iii) oxygen diffusion into the ‘glaze’ leading to a chromium-dominated oxide layer at the ‘glaze’/substrate interface, (iv) spallation of the ‘glaze’ through chemical failure, (v) re-formation of the ‘glaze’ and (vi) elemental diffusion within the ‘glaze’, again resulting in discrete oxide layer formation. 相似文献

Formulation of black ceramic ink and its ink-jet printability on a glass substrate were investigated. The thermal and chemical stabilities of CoFe2-xCrxO4 and Ni0.925Mn0.075Fe1.875-xCrxMn0.125O4 black inorganic pigments were analyzed with various amounts of Cr substitutions. The ceramic ink was prepared using the pigment composition that demonstrated color stability during the high temperature glazing process with a minimal Cr substitutional amount. After the dispersion stability and rheological property were optimized, the ceramic ink was suitably jetted from a print head as a single sphere-shaped droplet without satellite droplets. To improve the printability of the ceramic ink, the glass substrate was treated with a perfluorooctyl trichlorosilane (PFTS) solution. As a result, the PFTS surface treatment increased the contact angle of the ceramic ink droplets on the glass substrate and effectively minimized the ink spreading phenomena. 相似文献

本文以石英、长石、滑石、方解石、磷酸钙为主要原料,研究了RO2-RO-Al2O3-SiO2-P2O5系统的结构色乳浊釉。研究发现:结构色乳浊釉在高温下会发生富磷相与基相的分相,在基础釉料的基础上加入TiO2、Cr2O3、V2O5、CoO、铅硼熔块等着色剂,可使烧成釉面的结构色乳浊效果易于观察。本实验通过调整着色剂的加入量,单层施釉和多层交替施釉,烧成制度等工艺,研究出结构色乳浊效果较好的釉料配方和生产工艺。通过光学显微镜(OM)等测试技术研究表明,釉面因瑞利散射和多层膜干涉而产生美丽的结构色。 相似文献
