Chemical States of Lanthanum in Carbonized La2O3-Mo Thermionic Cathode Materials

The chemical reaction between lanthanum oxide and molybdenum carbide was studied by thermodynamic calcu-lation, thermal analysis and in-situ X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy. The theoretical results show that at the environment allowing for the evaporation of lanthanum, such as in high vacuum, La2O3 in the La2O3-Mo materials can be reduced to metallic lanthanum by molybdenum carbide (Mo2C). To confirm the conclusion, many analysis methods such as XRD, SPS, and TG-DTA were taken. The experimental results show that the chemical state of lanthanum changes during heat-ing. It was proved, for the first time, that reacted metallic lanthanum appears at the surface of this kind of material at high temperature.     

Benefits to 0+ fishes of connecting man‐made waterbodies to the lower River Trent,England

Floodplain waterbodies are reputed to enhance recruitment of riverine fish populations via provision of spawning and nursery habitat, refuge from floods, and increased availability of planktonic food resources compared with main river channels. Notwithstanding, there have been few parallel studies of fishes and their food resources at both main river and floodplain sites. Thus, this study investigated the 0+ fishes, zooplankton and phytoplankton (chlorophyll a) at four main river and four (man‐made) floodplain sites on the lower River Trent, England, between May 1999 and October 2004 inclusive. All sites shared the same key fish species, and there were no consistent differences in the densities, growth or condition of 0+ fishes from main river and floodplain sites. Similarly, all sites shared the same key zooplankton taxa. However, zooplankton densities, notably of large‐bodied cladocerans, and chlorophyll a concentrations, were significantly higher at floodplain sites than at main river sites. Thus, connection of man‐made waterbodies has the potential to enhance recruitment of riverine fish populations via provision of important spawning and nursery habitat, and superior feeding opportunities for 0+ fishes compared with main river channels. 应用ITO膜作电荷收集极的位置灵敏探测器

首次尝试将ITO（Indium Tin Oxide）膜与微通道板（Microchannel Plate）结合用作位置灵敏探测器，并对该探测器的线性、位置分辨及探测效率作了测试，得到了令人满意的结果。

Carnot comparison of multi-temperature level absorption heat cycles

Comparison of different absorption heat cycles is not always made on the correct manner. This also includes comparison of an ideal absorption cycle with a mechanical analogy. A new Carnot model operating with two heat engines and two mechanical heat pumps is defined to be the correct and logical way to describe the mechanical analogy for an absorption heat pump and an absorption heat transformer. General equations for the Carnot coefficient of performance, COP_r, are exemplified and simulated for an absorption heat pump and an absorption heat transformer, and an entropy flow fraction diagram is introduced. The important fact that the absorption heat cycles must operate under the same conditions when they are compared is discussed.     

The thermodynamic performance of a new solution cycle in double absorption heat transformer using water/lithium bromide as the working fluids

In this paper, a new solution cycle in the double absorption heat transformer is presented and the thermodynamic performance of this new cycle is simulated based on the thermodynamic properties of aqueous solution of lithium bromide. The results show that this new cycle is superior to the cycle being studied by some researchers. This new solution cycle has a wider range of operation in which the system maintains the high value of COP and has larger temperature lifts and operation stability. The relationship between the absorber and the absorbing evaporator is more independent and this makes the operation and control of the system more easier.

La改性的Ag/TS-1催化剂上丙烯选择氧化制环氧丙烷

在H2 和O2 混合气体存在下 ,在常压固定床、石英反应器上考察了La改性的Ag/TS - 1催化剂催化丙烯环氧化反应。研究结果表明 ,Ag和La负载在TS - 1上的先后顺序对丙烯环氧化反应有影响。H2 在丙烯气相氧化反应体系中起着重要的作用。     

热分解法制备钛酸铅镧薄膜及其电性能研究

本文研究了用金属有机物热发解法制备ＰＬＴ８薄膜的工艺过程和基片对薄膜结构的影响，并且给出了铁电性能的测量结果。
