The elastic properties and the density of ternary glass forming systems within the CaO–SiO2–Al2O3-system (CAS) were evaluated. Different glass compositions near the lowest eutectic (1170 °C) composition within the CaO–Al2O3–SiO2-system have been melted from pure raw materials. Their target compositions differed not more than 4 wt% for each component. Exact chemical compositions were measured by x-ray fluorescence. The density, and acoustic properties were determined and the Young׳s Moduli were derived herefrom. It was of special interest to obtain information on these properties and their dependencies upon small variations in the composition. The density values were between 2.600 and 2.667 g cm−3 and the packing density factors Vp of the oxides glasses using the ionic radii of Pauling were in the range from 0.559 to 0.571. The determined data were compared to different model calculations. Density model calculations show relative deviations between 2 and 6%. The values calculated from the model for Young׳s Modulus by Makishima and Mackenzie (1973) [1] were somewhat smaller than the measured ones. The correction by Rocherulle et al. (1989) [3] of the Makishima model showed better agreement with the measured values.  相似文献

Titanium tubes used in condensers in a nuclear power plant in China encountered abnormal wall thinning, and was thus forced to temporarily stop operation or it could bring about catastrophic safety problems. Most of the wall thinning happened at quite regular positions on the tubes and these failure tubes were located similarly in the condensers, indicating some common problems. To find out the root cause and mechanism of the thinning failure, we conducted surface deposit analysis, appearance inspection, microstructure analysis and composition analysis of the samples by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), stereo microscope, scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS). The results revealed that the wall thinning was primarily caused by eccentric contact wear and three-body contact wear rooted in processing defect of internal borings, corrosion products deposit and sagging, and foreign particles. Finally, countermeasures were proposed for repair and prevention.  相似文献

This paper presents one wafer level packaging approach of quartz resonator based on through-silicon via (TSV) interposer with metal or polymer bonding sealing of frequency components. The proposed silicon-based package of quartz resonator adopts several three-dimensional (3D) core technologies, such as Cu TSVs, sealing bonding, and wafer thinning. It is different from conventional quartz resonator using ceramic-based package. With evaluation of mechanical structure design and package performances, this quartz resonator with advanced silicon-based package shows great manufacturability and excellent performance to replace traditional metal lid with ceramic-based interposer fabrication approach.  相似文献

A simple heuristic is proposed for constructing robust experimental designs for multivariate generalized linear models. The method is based on clustering a set of local optimal designs. A method for finding local D-optimal designs using available resources is also introduced. An electromagnetic acoustic transducer (EMAT)–eddy current (EC) dual probe is developed to assess wall thinning. With a view to developing compatible EMAT and EC operating modes, probe’s capability to size width and depth of wall thinning is quantitatively evaluated. Experiments carried out on austenitic stainless steel plates with various groove sizes show that the EMAT mode of the dual probe functions best when thinning is shallow but wide, whereas the EC mode functions best when thinning is deep but narrow. Mode complementarity indicates that this dual probe offers greater reliability in wall thinning monitoring.  相似文献

We use a counting process representation of the pairwise contact process to analyze pairwise contact patterns. Studying two real-world traces, we find that the pairwise contact patterns have three characteristics. First, human contact patterns are influenced by daily and weekly cycles of activity. Second short time intervals with intensive contact event (bursts) are separated by long periods with few contact events. Third, the pairwise contact process exhibits long range dependence. We introduce a Markov modulated Poisson process (MMPP) as a flexible model for pairwise contact process exhibiting both regular structure and irregular bursts of activity. Using standard statistical techniques, we demonstrate that the proposed model is consistent with the empirical data. Our work has significant implication for mobility modeling and performance analysis in human contact networks.  相似文献

In Part I of the failure analysis on abnormal wall thinning of heat-transfer titanium tubes used in condensers in nuclear power plant, we analyzed the causes and mechanisms of abnormal thinning that commonly happened at the contact part between the tubes and the support plates. This kind of failure was the mainstream failure type in our case and the main causes were found to be eccentric contact wear and three-body contact wear rooted in processing defect of internal borings, corrosion products deposit and sagging, and foreign particles. However, there were still some individual failure tubes with different failure sites and modes and were located under the bypass pipes at the shoulder of the tube tower instead of in its lower part, obviously telling another failure story. In Part II of the failure analysis, material analysis, metallographic examination, mechanical performance tests, macro- and microstructure analysis and composition analysis were conducted. The failure causes were found to be erosion and cavitation corrosion and the synergetic effect of them. Finally, corresponding countermeasures were suggested.  相似文献

We propose and examine a probabilistic model for the multivariate distribution of the number of calls in each period of the day (e.g., 15 or 30 min) in a call center, where the marginal distribution of the number of calls in any given period is arbitrary, and the dependence between the periods is modeled via a normal copula. Conditional on the number of calls in a period, their arrival times are independent and uniformly distributed over the period. This type of model has the advantage of being simple and reasonably flexible, and can match the correlations between the arrival counts in different periods much better than previously proposed models. For the situation where the number of periods is large, so the number of correlations to estimate can be excessive, we propose simple parametric forms for the correlations, defined as functions of the time lag between the periods. We test our proposed models on three data sets taken from real‐life call centers and compare their goodness of fit to the best previously proposed methods that we know. In the three cases, the new models provide a much better match of the correlations and coefficients of variation of the arrival counts in individual periods.  相似文献

In this paper, we generalize the windowed Fourier transform to the windowed linear canonical transform by substituting the Fourier transform kernel with the linear canonical transform kernel in the windowed Fourier transform definition. It offers local contents, enjoys high resolution, and eliminates cross terms. Some useful properties of the windowed linear canonical transform are derived. Those include covariance property, orthogonality property and inversion formulas. 以对激光器进行可靠度评估为背景,在考虑累积冲击与自然退化同时引起产品失效的基础上,重点研究了冲击时间间隔对产品退化量的影响,建立了累积冲击作用下可恢复的退化模型。根据自然退化过程及泊松冲击更新理论,研究了累积冲击模型和累积冲击下的退化失效模型。引入条件分布,分析冲击时间间隔对退化量的影响,得出了累积泊松冲击下的可恢复退化失效模型。结合性能退化分析,给出了可恢复的退化过程的失效分布函数和可靠度函数。进行了激光器退化试验,结果表明:当激光器工作2 000h时,利用累积冲击下可恢复的退化失效模型评估得到的可靠度为0.53,与仿真结果相符,为利用累积冲击下退化失效模型评估得到的可靠度的2.79倍。结果验证了本文提出的利用可恢复的退化模型进行可靠度评估的合理性。  相似文献
